What Kind Of A Man Would Do Such A Thing?
Category: News and Politics

Jack Tilley, a Sergeant Major of the Army, was with a group of people
who  recently were visiting wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Medical
Center in Washington, DC.

He saw a Special Forces soldier who had lost his right hand and suffered
severe wounds of his face and side of his body.

Sgt. Tilley wanted to honor him and show him respect without offending,
but what can you say or do in such a situation that will encourage and
uplift?

How do you shake the right hand of a soldier who has none?

He decided to act as though the hand was not missing and gripped the
soldiers wrist while speaking words of comfort and encouragement to him.

However, there was another man in the group who knew exactly what to do.

This man reverently took the soldier's stump of a hand in both of his
hands, bowed at the bedside, and prayed for him.

When he finished the prayer he stood up, bent over the soldier, kissed
him on the head, and told him that he loved him.

Sgt. Tilley was awed by the powerful expression of love for one of our
wounded heroes he was witnessing! "What a beautiful Christ-like
example!" he thought, moved to tears.

What kind of a man would do such a thing?

It was the wounded man's Commander-In-Chief, George W. Bush, and
President of The United States.

This eyewitness account was told by Sergeant Major Jack Tilley at a
Soldiers Breakfast at Red Stone Arsenal, AL, and recorded by Chaplain
James Henderson, who was stationed there.

Pass it on.... the PRESS WON'T!!!!!

Hanoi Jane
Category: News and Politics

-----I  watch the white wash of this person with disgust.  I have heard her try to gloss over that "painful period of her life" with the feeble excuse that she was immature and the North Vietnamese tricked her -- but I have never heard her say that she was sorry or wrong.   She truly is beneath contempt.      Ben

IF YOU NEVER FORWARDED ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE,  FORWARD THIS SO THAT EVERYONE WILL KNOW!!!!!!

..> ..>
..> ..>

She really was a traitor

A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED
KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS
AMERICA

This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do
not remember, and didn't have to bear the
burden that our fathers, mothers and older
brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the
"100 Women of the Century."

BY BARBRA WALTERS

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still
countless others have never known how Ms.
Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
but specific men who served and sacrificed
during
Vietnam

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot

The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.

In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF
Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison
the "Hanoi Hilton."

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell,
cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was
ordered to describe for a visiting American
"Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane
treatment" he'd received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was
dragged away.
During the subsequent beating, he fell forward
on to the
camp Commandant 's feet, which
sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from
double vision (which permanently ended his
flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied
application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the
47FW/DO (F-4E's).  He spent 6 years in the
"Hanoi Hilton",,, the first three of which his
family only knew he was "missing in action".
His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.
His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and
clothed routine in preparation for a
"peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to
get word to the world that they were alive
and still survived.  Each man secreted a tiny
piece of paper, with his Social Security Number
on it, in the palm of his hand.

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a
cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each
man's hand and asking little encouraging
snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed
babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane
treatment from your benevolent captors?"
Believing this HAD to be an act, they each
palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat.  At the
end of the line and once the camera stopped
rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs,
she turned to the officer in charge and handed
him all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the subsequent beatings.
Colonel Carrigan was almost number four
but he survived, which is the only reason we
know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor
in
Vietnam , and was captured by the North
Vietnamese communists in
South Vietnam in
1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one
year in a cage in
Cambodia ; and one year
in a "black box" in
Hanoi .
My North Vietnamese captors deliberately
poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South
Vietnam , whom I buried in the jungle near the
Cambodian border.
At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs.
(My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi , I was asked by
the camp communist political officer if I would
be willing to meet with her.

I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real
treatment we POWs received... and how
different it was from the treatment purported by
the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as
"humane and lenient."

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky
floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with a large steel weights placed on my hands,
and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda
soon after I was released.  I asked her
if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify
someone who should be honored as part
of "100 Years of Great Women."
Lest we forget..." 100 Years of Great Women"
should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral
reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in
blatant treason, is one of them.
Please take the time to forward to as many
people as you possibly can.
It will eventually end up on her computer and
she needs to know that we will never forget.

Proud American
Category: News and Politics

My personalized version of "I'm a Bad American":

I am a loud and proud American.  I love our armed forces, capitalism, and my freedom.  I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family--not the illegal aliens that have invaded my nation, their babies, or any other waste of space the government wants to give it away to.  I don't care about appearing "PC", "progressive," or "compassionate."  I have the right not to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or simply make me mad.  I will live my life in a way that makes me and my family proud…regardless of other's opinions.

I don't celebrate Kwanzaa, Hanukah, etc.  If you want to that's fine.  Just don't make everyone else and don't take away my right to celebrate Christmas.  So, if my Christmas tree, baby Jesus, or Santa Clause offends you, that's your problem--not mine, or the other 86% of the American population that believes the way I do.  I refuse to fall in line with the empty government suits that are selling the foundation of our nation away piece by piece to the highest corporate bidder.

I believe that if you are an American citizen you should speak English.  Our uncles, forefathers, and brothers shouldn't have had to die in vein so you can leave the countries you were born in to come and disrespect ours.  If you are in my country illegally I don't care what language you speak.  I want you gone more than I can adequately express.  I think the Cops, Border Patrol, and National Guard have the right to shoot you if they catch you crossing the border illegally.  I also think they have the right to shoot your sorry ass if you are running from them after they tell you to "Stop!"

I don't use the excuses "it's tolerant" or "it's progressive" as shields for immoral, anti-American, or otherwise outrageous opinions or actions.  I don't think that just because you were not born in this country you qualify for any special higher education loan programs, government sponsored bank loans, government housing, etc.  I don't think being a minority makes you special, noble, or a perpetual victim.  Nor does it provide you with the "right" to a free pass in life at the expense of the hard-working majority.  I believe in fairness across the board.  That means if you didn't earn it, it isn't yours and you are not entitled to it just because you think that "isn't fair."  Buck up and earn your keep the same as the rest of us.  Otherwise, let natural selection eliminate you from the human race as you are only dead weight that is being carried on the backs of the strongest members.

Our soldiers did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in vein and defend our Constitution so that decades later you can tell me that it's a living document ever changing and is open to interpretation.  The men who wrote it were light years ahead of anyone today, and they meant what they said.  Leave it alone or there's going to be trouble—mark my words.

I don't hate the rich.  I think Bill Gates and WalMart have every right to keep every penny they have made and continue to make more money.  If that makes you mad, then invent the next operating system or business chain that's better and put your name on the side of the building.  Ask your buddy that invented the internet and global warming to help you out.

I believe a self-righteous liberal with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.  I believe in the right to bear arms and to defend my family and my home against criminals and intruders.  I own a gun, you can own a gun, and any red blooded American should be allowed to own a gun.  But if you use it in a crime, you do the time.

I don't believe in hate crime legislation.  Even suggesting it makes me mad.  You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country has more value as a human being than I do as a white female?  If someone kills or assaults anyone I'd say that's a hate crime.  We don't need more laws.  Let's enforce the ones we already have.

I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting someone's feelings.  I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like to portray my kind as otherwise.  Yes, I am a loud and proud American.  And if you don't like, that's tough.
