so i would like to apologize to anyone i may have offended or whose feelings i hurt recently or to anyone who thought i was just being real weird.  I have made some realizations about some things that are difficult for people (at least me) to admit to themselves.

so if you felt i have been catty or weird or just out and out mean, im sorry. it was most likely not intentional and even if it was intentional thats not cool, so... sorry. 


i didn't write this so people will feel sorry for me or treat me differently or ask me whats wrong. I don't know who, if anyone, i hurt or upset but if its you or you thought i was being inordinantly rude or mean this is for you.

this is also not to say that it wont happen again. im only human, but im gonna try.

tornadoes and horses

okay, first tornadoes. all I'll im gonna say is lame...no. lame and a half. also ridiculous. Oh, and sorry to anyone i snapped on yesterday, i didn't mean it, low blood sugar lol.

secondly, horse racing is also lame. I don't understand why people who claim to love horses can also love horse racing. No im not suddenly the new spokesperson for PETA or anything like that but all this hype around big brown and the potential for him to win the triple crown has really bothered me. These horses are bred for speed and little else, which leads to broken bones and unneccesary death and apparently bleeding in the lungs. (wtf) So i dont understand why people can say they love these animals, which after years of selective breeding have become so weak, and then force them to run in 90 degree heat as fast as they can for any amount of time. 
I dont know, it just seems cruel.

...hello....is anyone there?

o for the love of pete. does anyone even still know that i exist? Don't anyone die from a heart attack, please. so, uh, it's been a little while eh?

This is the first time I've been one here in a bajillion years but im not very interesting so i wont have much to type.

    lets see, im still working at the theater, i did get a second job at barnes and noble and have been working there since..right before thanksgiving i think. until this week when they cut everyones hours and i have zero. it happens though. so I applied for a job at the library in belleville and its $1/hr more than the bookstore if i get it.

um, yeah thats pretty much it. Im really starting to enjoy the theater alot, weve got alot of cool kids that work there now. 9not that we didnt before but this combination of kids is awesome) wait and by kids i dont mean kids i mean...well kids but not the way it sounds. well, nevermind.

i did plant a garden this spring and so far all of the plants have survived. nice.

im still/again looking for a house. but not really in a hurry but its getting a little ridiculous. speaking of ridiculous i went to a wedding for a girl thats my brothers age. sheesh.

well i thinks that about it. the last 4/5 months in a nut shell. i know i need to slow down or im gonna kill myself. dang

Contrary to populra belief I did NOT die...I just got a new job
Current mood: tired

It's true i have a new job. I also still have my old job...well partly. I only work one Sundays now and probably until the middle of fall. But you don't care about that you want to knwo what the heck my new job is and why I haven't talked to anyone in a million years. So my new job is awesome; It's archaeology. That's rigtht, i dig stuff up all day. I like it alot. It was a $3/hr. pay cut and i don't get vacation days or insurance any more. but it's worth it. Everyone has been really awesome. They are all patient with the newbies and I get to find lots of cool stuff. Like arrowheads and stuff. no not dead bodies...or dinosaurs for that matter. none of those things. I work M-F 8-430...in columbia, IL. currently. starting tuesday I will be in St. Libory.
    anyhow, I'm working for ITARP, which stands for Illinois Archaeologycal Research Project. It's some sort of arrangement between U of I and IDOT, We dig whereever there is a planned interchange or anywhere that might be impacted my new vehicle traffic.It's really cool. Did I mention I really like it? The only thing that sucks is that its not year round. :( eh It happens.
    you may also be asking yourself why would I take a big pay cut and lose all that stuff and have to be at work at 8. Because i didn't want to be a lifer at wehrenberg and I always thought archaeology was cool and it's a cool opportunity. And apparently if i go back to school I could make alot of money at it. who knew?
 Well i just wanted to update the world and tell everyone what is going on and to dispell any rumors that I had fallen off the face of the earth. Hopefully I will be on here more frequently now. Hooray!

ha! i knew id get you. no, beer is gross, its from the red stripe beer commercials.  moving on... so here is the (much anticipated) sequel to my last post. yes that means lots of afi pictures, and you will love every second of it...or maybe not. sorry that some of them have a weird stripe on them i think something is wrong with my usb cable. boo.  whatever, here they are

an introduction to the awesomeness that took place on sunday

   so i know its been 4 days since i went to see afi and this is my first post. my computer is being lame and not letting me correctly transfer all the awesome pics i took, but i did let my transfer all my videos. so ladies and gentlemen, i give you...THE DILLENGER ESCAPE PLAN!!!




i do realize that the sound is kinda crappy and the video is kinda short but the whole point is the guitar player, who was amazing and crazy. they were soooooooooo good!
