I joined Weight Watchers yesterday.....

I joined Weight Watchers yesterday. Right now, I am trying to get my mind around all of the written material. I never thought that trying to lose weight was going to involve so many damn books.
 

I decided to do the points plan. I think it is easier for me to count up to 20 points. I just look up in the book they gave me, to find out how many points things are worth.

At least on the weekend, I can be naughty. I have an extra 35 points a week to work with. So I might as well use them then.
I got myself a guide to deal with fast food.

I actually think I did well today.

Yesterday, I have to admit, I didnt do to well..... I stuck to my points, I just didnt eat enough veggies.

I have to start eating more veggies!!!!!

Today I had...............

Oatmeal-2 points

a weight watchers muffin-3 points

Jack in the box pita- 6 points

Jack in the box- chicken with bacon, no bun or sauce, With lettuce and Tomato-5 points

(2)- rice cakes- 2 points for both

So  I actually only ate 18 points and I feel pretty good about it.

I am going to eat more veggies this weekend!!!

Oh, and I got myself a pedometer!!! I love the fact that I can see how many steps I walk every day. I think it will help me walk more!!!

Ah, I am getting so star struck lately!!!!

Last Thursday, I got to meet one of my favorite authors! Faye Kellerman, she was at the local library signing some of her novels. So I had her sign one of her books for me. I even got my picture taken with her. I have to figure out how to transfer it from my phone to my myspace page. So everyone can see it. I even got to ask her a question.

This weekend, Jeff and I were at the library. We enjoy going through the stacks of movies. It's one of our favorite things to do on the weekend. So we always rent about three. We both enjoyed Bride and Prejudice. If you have not seen it, I suggest this one. It is so romantic!

This weekend, I just happened to glance at the SciFi section of the bookshelves. I just happened to notice a red "V". If anyone knows me, I am the biggest fan of "V".  So I checked out the novel. I just started the book, and I noticed something. Robert Maxwell, is alive in the book. He died in the series. So I thought why not try and see if I can write to the author?! So I did! Kenneth Johnson wrote me back!!!!!! OMG!!!! So he answered all of my questions.  Not to mention, told me that he will be at a lecture near me on Thursday! So he said I should come by and find him. So I am going to go! I am so excited. If I can meet him, I will be so happy!

I saw a chick flick today! Mama Mia! :)

I saw a chick flick today! Mama Mia, is a great movie! I loved it! I already warned Jeff about how much I love ABBA music! lol..... I also saw one of my favorite movies on cable the other day. Hiding Out with Jon Cryer. It is one of those movies I have to watch! Of course then it makes me feel old since it was made in 1987! YIKES!!! I guess that happens to all of us at times! Do you guys know that they are makes a sequel to War Games! You know the movie with Matthew Brodrick and Ally Sheedy. OK, I think that the studios in Hollywood need to stop ripping of the 80's!!! START COMING UP WITH SOME NEW THINGS YOU IDIOTS!!!! I understand there are only 7 plots, but there are move then 7 movies all made in the 80's! It's bad enough they are making Footloose again! That is a classic! I mean hell, you cant get any sexier then Kevin Bacon in a white t-shirt and jeans!!!! OMG!!! Can we all say YUMMY!!!!! Anyways, today I am hanging out with William. We are watching tv shows etc. Yes, Jeff knows where I am and trusts me!

Jeff and I had fun today at the fair!

Today, Jeff and I went to the OC Fair. We enjoyed going on the rides, eating and walking around. Jeff actually got me to go on a ride, that goes upside down. Let's just say afterwards, I felt sick to my stomach! I got a bit over my fear of heights. Jeff was so sexy moving us around in a bumper car. I havent been in one of those since I was a kid. We went to the petting zoo there. I had to take pictures of goats, for my sister Tracey. Jeff and I lasted for about 4 and a half hours. I can sure tell that we are getting older! I did get myself some cotton candy. That is one indulgence I let myself have at places like this. OMG YUMMY!!!!!

Today is the parentals Birthday!!! Yes both of them!!!

Today is the parentals Birthday!!! Yes both of them!!! I got them both cards. Mommy loved her's. She even opened it up early. I have not heard if Daddy liked his yet. I think it is funny that not only do my parents have the same birthday.Jeff and I also share our Birthday. Jeff and I joked that it would be funny if we had twins. Then we would be keeping the tradition alive. This weekend we watched "The pigs and a Baby". It was a very cute movie. If you havent seen it go get it. I did a lot of sleeping. I dont know why I am so tired. I just seem to sleep better with Jeff around. Ok, yes he was working and I was sleeping, but you get the idea. I am going to try to work on our afghan some more tonight. I tried to work on his socks, but I messed up again.  So, I will correct it tomorrow. Yes, I am making him a pair of socks. I just hope I survive making them. I mean heck I could buy him a pair. He better loves them!!! He is making me dinner, isnt he the sweetest boyfriend?!! I did our wash earlier today....He loves having clean wash!! Nothing says I love you, like clean undies!!!!
