This disc is a record of the live gigs that Finish The Story did between 1981 and 1983. These tracks are the only known live recordings ever made (as far as we know). The quality is not brilliant but the performances are. The first two tracks have only recently been discovered - does anybody know where the recording originates from? The Exeter gig is the audio from a VHS video of the gig. This is worth getting as it is a rare glimpse into the mythology that was the early Finish The Story.

Are you having problems being seen by the major search engines? - Do you type in your name and not even appear on page three? The simple reason for this might be that they don't know you even exist.
The most efficient way (we have found) to get noticed is to place a simple xml sitemap onto your site and then physically submit the page(s) to the major players. (You have to make sure you do this correctly otherwise you might compound your problem!)
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of searches, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines....more

Last night I went to the preview of Laury Dizengremel's sculptures at Broomhill Art Hotel (Nr Barnstaple, N.Devon). She was recently commissioned by the ATP, governing body of the men's professional tennis circuit, to create sculptures of the top eight tennis players in the world as "Tennis Terracotta Warriors". After being displayed at the Tennis Masters Cup venue in Shanghai, China, the sculptures were transported to Wimbledon Museum where they are now on display. Other major credits include public sculptures in Ireland, Honduras, France, Vietnam and China, as well as busts of John Travolta, Chick Corea and Isaac Hayes. Duchamp: I would have wanted to work, but deep down I’m enormously lazy. I like living, breathing, better than working. I don’t think that the work I’ve done can have any social importance whatsoever in the future. Therefore if you wish, my art would be that of living: each second, each breath is a work which is inscribed nowhere, which is neither visual nor cerebral. It is a sort of constant euphoria.

There are poets, painters, artists, musicians all over the place in history who need a M U S E – amusing don’t you think? Stella Cartwright was the muse who entranced a cohort of Scottish poets and inspired passionate, love poetry (20th century). Her correspondence gives a glimpse into tragic story of the femme fatale who held some of Scotland’s greatest ’rhymers’ in the palm of her hand.
As a young girl she dreamed of becoming a poet, but she was destined to earn her place in literary history as a muse. She was introduced to the "Rose Street Poets" by her proud (bohemianesque) father as a ’bubbly’ 17-year-old. This group of poets were fuelled by alcohol and they drew this teenager into its grasp, a cruel and sadistic act….Drink is the friend with a knife that turns to stab you (based on a quote by her lover George MacKay Brown)..... read more?
She did write poetry but her poems are only footnotes in history books. Victorine Meurent, Manet’s muse was a painter but yet again was designated to the margins. The creative need the weak to clamber over to reach success. – Who is the greater the artist or the spark?
Getting back into the studio has been a problem but the results of a couple of sessions can be heard on This Window’sMySpace

'Canard' by This window which was released in 1989 - link
The movie was created between 1987 and 2008.
Q U E S T I O N S - below is the original press release from 1990.
EXTRACTION.......now this is a really fine kettle of fish.
Q. What do four people do in a bathroom with copious quantities of fine French champagne?
A. They get very drunk, take all their clothes off and get into the over-filled bath, drink more shampoo and record a cassette for EE Tapes of Belgium.
That above statement is true for the tracks, 'The Works of William Shakespeare,' 'There's Not Enough Champagne; and "Salle de Bain" The rest of the C40 is This Window at its most serious and radical. Brutalism, no slick editing here (it is really hard to get a butchered edited feel without sounding as though the person in control is a DORK - the raw edges of Extraction took a lot of work.)
