Goodbye, Ross

Our boy Ross was loved by many and he shared his Love even though humans were his worst enemies in the beginning of his life. He was a true friend and will be missed very much. Thank you Ross for Loving us.


Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

i'm sitting here watching supernanny and i don't even have children in my life. i think everyone with a child in their lives should watch this show. i so wish they had shows like this when my son was a youngster. i had no idea how to handle so many things and went to bed a lot of nights in tears because i didn't feel like i had done a good job that day raising my son.

2008 is right around the corner

I'm praying for Peace, Love and Understanding........tall order I know. :)

Glenn and I went to the movies yesterday morning. We were all excited to see I Am Legend. Our hearts and minds were wide open and we weren't disappointed with the beginning and some of the middle but the ending was truly a let down. We love Will Smith and we wanted this to be another Blockbuster for him but that didn't happen for us.

Hello Friends,

I hope that all of you had a peaceful and safe holiday. Glenn and I returned home today and we had a wonderful Christmas with his family. It was the first time that we have all been together since 2004 and it was a wonderful time. Glenn will be off until January 2nd, 2008 so we will be enjoying a few more days together without him having to go to work. :)
