ride that broom, bitch...
Current mood: pissed off
Category: MySpace
You are so see -through. Every bulletin you post, every blog you copy (never an original), every comment you send out has an ulterior motive. I am smart enough to understand your motivations, but despise your tactics. I dunno why I am under attack from you every opportunity you find. I really don't. Just because I think wasting money on Starbucks, isn't a reason to be a bitch to me. And we both know that is when you got so nasty, and have never softened since. Just because our common friend and I don't see eye to eye once in a while, doesn't mean you need to turn into a pit-bull to defend him. He is fine on his own. He does not need you to keep verifying your loyalty to him. He knows.
So I want to share my wedding pics with my Myspace friends. Why the hell does it inspire you to send such a bulletin?
Many of my Myspace friends were there. Some only get online once in a while. I don't want them to miss out! So what if I reposted the happiest day of my life? I am proud of my relationship with Michael, and also the pictures of that day! It was one of the best days of my life. Ever!
People repost their best work all the time. I can too. Even if it's through photographs and bulletins.
You sound jealous and negative.
I simply shared my bulletin again…
***************************************************************
wedding pictures from the photographer...
we just got the pictures back a few weeks ago from mary, our friend and photographer. we are thrilled with them. i have wanted to post them for some time now, but didn't know how to scan until yesterday. silly me, that was really easy...
check them out! they are beautiful! if you agree, comment please?
*************************************************************
and within minutes this is your bulletin.
***************************************************************
Teenagers… usually post "new pics, comment please" its annoying but cute in a teenager way, so we deal with it… never known adults to do it though…
*****************************************************************
Fuck off. What is REALLY bothering you? Get real with yourself, and stop being such a nasty "Phyllis" of a woman.

it is raining.
Current mood: uncomfortable
this season shocks me into despair.
i so hate this time of the year.
messy, cold, windy, trapped.
the rain is already pounding on the house,
letting me know she is here.
i would rather not know...
but she pounded on my roof today.
i heard her arrival, come and go,
and yet come again.
I'm not happy about this.

Cloudiness
Current mood: forgotten
The tingling of a dream relenting from my mind…
I stretch with all my might to locate the memories of it.
Glimmers of emotion surround the sinking dream,
maybe a simple picture will be left, if I am lucky.
The autumn air tickles me with memories I cannot grasp.
Reminds me of times I can not really remember.
Just like hunting mentally for the dream to come back,
I hunt for clues as to what the air reminds me of.
Smelling the changes, I experience a myriad of sensations.
Initially: despair, as though I have lost something,
helpless and sad, like saying good-bye to a dear friend.
But another scent will come my way, exciting a very young part of my self.
I only wish my mind could remember why
autumn affects me each year with this mystery.
It feels like the dream that one can not ever reach again,
and the yearning to remember is never satisfied.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Current mood: excited
Category: Life
As many of you know, I have five grandbabies. At this time, they are ages 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. They are all so sweet and beautiful, each of them curly haired with blue eyes. Their arrivals came so quickly, one after another, which was such a thrill for me. I always wanted a large family, but was unable to have more children. Just as my two girls were leaving the nest, the babies began to be born.
Today is a big day. Natalie, the oldest, is getting her first haircut! I get to be the photographer! Her hair is very long, and beautifully honey colored, but after five years of growing it needs to be trimmed up on the ends. I love this kid! She is talkative, creative and precocious. She is my little buddy. When she was first born, her mommy and daddy lived with me, so I got to know Natalie very well. It broke my heart when they eventually moved out, but it didn't affect the bond I have with Natalie. Every time I see this girl, she yells out, "MIMA!" (This is my name for all the babies.) She just started kindergarten and was already chosen "student of the week!" She has two loose teeth that are ready to fall out, so I recently patched the old "tooth fairy pillow" and sent it home with her.
Orion is the next born. He looks just like his mother, except he is a boy. He is the only g-baby that has ever had a haircut before, and the only dark haired one of the bunch. Orion is in kindergarten also. He is such a dear child. He'll be the one to come visit me when I am old, and mow my lawn as a favor. His favorite things to do are "swimming and flying around." But in my yard, he does neither. Instead, he turns over my river rocks, one by one, looking for bugs… He loves space and all things about the planets and especially Earth. I wanna spend Earth Day with this child. He is so enthusiastic!
Anjuli is our sweetheart, and tomboy. She loves to be messy, always touching something wet or gooey. She loves jumping from high places, and zooming on the bikes. She takes risks I can barely watch. Anjuli has blond curly hair that is always in her face. Just before my wedding, the poor child got a toy caught up in her hair, which left her with a bald spot. But that was months ago, and no one would be able to know, now. She is a pretty little thing, but always messy. She can not hear very well, so her speech is difficult to understand as well. If one cannot hear, one cannot mimic. Her mommy is looking into the problem, and it might mean Anjuli needs tubes put in her ears. Fortunately her mommy can understand her, so she does have an interpreter… and from what her mommy says, Anjuli says some very endearing and comical things…
Nathan just had his 2nd birthday last week. It was really hard for him to wait until the end of the party for his cake. He loves his sweets! Nathan is the only thumb sucker of the family. And he loves his blanket, so much so, it is hard to take it away to get washed and dried for two hours. It would be SO missed, that he would cry and cry. He, like his sister, has honey colored hair, which just became curly over the last four months. It is gorgeous! He loves to throw things. Balls, balloons, rocks food, sand… whatever, it doesn't matter, he likes to throw. For being as young as he is, he speaks very clearly. His words are precise, even if they have three or four syllables. He is beginning to say small sentences some times, like, "Natalie, where are you?" He loves to be squirted with the hose. He is such a good sport, unlike most people being squirted directly in the face. He goes back for more!
Elijah is the baby of the family. But now that he can walk and run, he pushes his way into the playing group. He loves to climb things, even his siblings' bunk beds! Yikes! He can say at least twenty words now. He too, loves his blanket. When he is upset, nothing works like the magic blanket. Elijah loves fast and high slides. Most babies this age are not inclined to appreciate slides, but not this boy, the higher the better. Up until recently, he did not like to eat much. Lately though, he devours his food, much to his mommy's delight! Eli is the only one of the five I did not get to witness being born. He is a beautiful child, with blond curls and the longest eyelashes I have ever seen. He has just recently learned to say "Mima." Sweet!
1) one has loose teeth, and only one is brunette.
2) two are in kindergarten, and two are gemini's.
3) three are potty trained, and three of their names begin with vowels.
4) four of them are considered blondes, and four of them i was able to witness their births.
5) all five of them are adorable, and all five of them are mine.
I love my family with all of my heart. I wish I could see them more often, especially Shannon's three. They go with their father every weekend, so we miss each other. Any how, Alissa and Dan are coming over soon, for the big haircutting event, so I gotta go jump in the shower! Thanks for letting me share my g-babies with you!!!

Responding to a bulletin I read today... That was all about me. Not cool...
Current mood: bummed
Category: Life
Now, I could have dealt with ONE posting at the top of my blog list for two years, like CJ's. His was posted in advance, by chance of reuniting with his lost love, in case she ever looked at his MySpace...
However, you posted it TWELVE times, all within the same minute. I had a block of twelve blogs from you, all at the top of my list. Michael saw it, too. Twelve was way too much. To top it off, you dated the blog for 2010. Two years of having twelve blogs at the top of my list was just too much.
I wrote to you (respectfully) to show you your mistake of "multi-posting." You misunderstood. You thought I said you had posted it before. No, you posted it twelve times in one minute. If you re-read my sent letter to you (September 17th, I believe), I was just trying to bring that mistake to your attention.
The only solution (after I wrote to you), was to unsubscribe. So I did. You said you wouldn't be offended. So why did you unsubscribe from mine? Were you being "childish?" Were you playing the "victim card?" Were you being vindictive? I don't appreciate being labeled as such, so I am pretty sure you don't either.
I took you off my top page about two months ago. Since you just noticed, I guess you don't "visit" very much. In the past year and a half, when I have written to you, you give a short reply and nothing more. I can't remember the last time you wrote to me, checked in with me, or asked how I was doing. I rearranged my friends in order of how much contact I have (back and forth) with them.
I believe you are over-analyzing this situation, and are getting too sensitive. My status about being "duped" had nothing to do with you.
You mention that I was obviously lying. Huh? About caring about you? I care about you; I have cared HUGELY about you since I first met you. I used to have you as my hero! You have needed assistance many times, and I have almost begged to be available to you. But my offers have always been rebuked. So when I have attempted to carry on MySpace conversations with you, and it's like pulling teeth to get you to write me, I understood that staying in contact with me is not that important to you. That is when you left my top people, when it all made sense.
I do not respect your slanted emotional bulletin. It kind of felt as though you were "telling on me" to your "hundreds" of friends. It felt lousy, and incorrect. It felt accusing and name-calling. It felt as though you really don't know me very well. This makes me sad. Ever since I discovered you on MySpace (nearly three years ago), I so wanted to be friends with you. Real friends, visiting friends, laughing friends, not just typing friends…
I was so moved when I read the blog about Dawn, that I wept and wept. My daughter was there, and witnessed my sadness for you (I was using her computer that evening). I thought at the time, "What a decent human being. What a wonderful friend he is. I want to be his friend!" Lord knows, I tried.
I made you a cake for your birthday, wrote you a poem and gave you unique presents. I have begged to help you with your medical situations. I have invited you to very special events, for example, my wedding and birthday. When I heard about your father's passing, I wrote and wrote to you. I have initiated letter after letter, to no avail. You just have not let me in.
This doesn't mean I don't care about you; it just means that what I wanted, isn't gonna happen. Just because I have distanced myself, does not mean I don't care. I did, and I do. However, our relationship isn't a two way street, and a friendship should be. This will always be a disappointment.

oh my god!
Current mood: amused
i am up late (as usual) and listening to tv: "everyone (or is it everybody? whatever) loves raymond." if you know this show at all, you know the mother/mother in law person, marie, is so freaking annoying and sarcastically rude. well, something made me focus in and actually turn my head to see a scene.
when i looked at "marie," i saw phyllis, my nasty neighbor! they look alike! omg! except phyllis is starting to walk with a pronounced bend in her upper spine. sad.
hey, the other day, michael was on the border of our properties, gardening with the roses, and she saw him. out of her mouth came, "you look more normal!"
huh? wth? that was an odd thing to say. we can only guess what that means. we had a good laugh, but still, what the hell did that mean?

if you were blindfolded...
Current mood: sore
If you were blindfolded and placed in front of a large bowl containing $50, $20, $10, and $5 bills, and you were allowed to take one bill at a time until you had taken four bills of the same denomination, what would be the largest amount of money you could draw?

one more tonight...
Current mood: animated
A man and his son were rock climbing on a particularly dangerous mountain when they slipped and fell. The man was killed, but the son lived and was rushed to the hospital. The old surgeon looked at the young man and declared, "I can't operate on this boy: he is my son." How could this be?

i learned something at preschool, today!
Current mood: optimistic
Category: Life
i started another year of teaching today. now a few weeks ago, i was really pessimistic. i had to move my belongings into a different classroom, gain more students, and work with another teacher. i like staying the same. i like being in a rut. i like teaching alone. so these changes threw me for a loop.
but i went forward and got the classroom ready, projects ready to roll, and books to read to the kids. as i did this, i worked side by side with my new partner, ms. r. she came into the "setting up" experience with so much enthusiasm, it totally turned my attitude around. I came into the new year excited instead of dreading the experience. i thank her for that.
now usually, the night before school begins, i ALWAYS have insomnia (17 years in a row), but this time, for the first time, i slept well. i even got up early, on purpose!
when i arrived at school at 9am, everything was fine, and no one was crying. remember, the students are only (older) two or three years old, and this is most of their first school experience. last year, i had two students cry the entire day (8 hours). one girl cried so hard she vomited. once she vomited in her lunch, ug! but this year was really quiet! thank god!
only one child disobeyed, and eventually had a time out, but after that he did fine. the kids tried all the projects we had for them, and even napped well. hooray!
i heard two of my students, as they were leaving, say to their parents, something to the effect of, "can i come back here tomorrow?' it was a really good beginning to my school year. what a relief!
i felt a tender connection with a couple little boys today. i am excited! how funny how things can all be okay, even though i worried about them before hand, negatively. i was taught something today...
as surprised as i am that today was as "kind" to me as it was, i hope your tuesday was as friendly to you.
although i thank ms. r emotionally for her enthusiasm, i need to thank her verbally. she really helped me turn my pessismism around. this year is gonna be wonderful, after all! yay!
