There's too much music!

Well, it's fall again and the new releases are coming out in droves. Reams. Massive quantities to consume. Every day Joe delivers another 25 cds and when I get to the PO Box there's another 30. Geez. Can't you guys release your stuff in a more organized manner - like 25 a week all year so we can keep up? Jim comes in a 7:30 and sometimes he's here until after 8p and we still can't catch up. Looks like another long day.

I know, tough job right? Listen to music all day. YOU try to listen to 50 cds in a day and keep them all straight. Too many times we'll have a promoter call back and say, listen to so and so one more time. Please? And we do and guess what, they're right. What were we thinking not adding so and so? They're great! SIGH. Sorry, there's just too much damn (good) music! And not enough hours in the day to play it all...

I'll stop complaining now. Actually I can't imagine a better way to spend my time (well maybe a few ways...). I just wish we lived on Pluto, even though it's a subordinate planet now, because the days there are, what? 280 earth years long? How about lunch break on Pluto? Or vacation? Cold maybe but great view. Can you imagine sitting out in your Pluto backyard, sipping a hot toddy and listening to maybe Cursive?

Seriously guys, check with your promoters on when the best time is to release a new album. And then add about 10 days to that timetable. You'll make me very happy. (I'm a bitch, I know it...)
