Charitable
Ron has thus encouraged me to write about and keep updated on my recent move into the world of charity. I have begun to sponser a 7 year old girl from Sierra Leone (Africa). While it may be a little while before I get an update to see how much my money helps her and her family the current situation is: Serah resides with her family in a simple house lacking basic home comforts including electricity and sanitation. She has one brother. The household annual income of $170, which the father earns as a driver, is hardly enough to take care of regular feeding and basic needs of the home. They are faced with many financial problems which they cannot solve. Serah goes to school and her best subject is Poem. She spends her leisure time playing with other children. He belongs to the Limba tribe and Muslim religion. Cool huh? I'm sponsering through CCF (Christian Children's Fund, incase anyone else in blog land decides to look into this.
