Set to take Off

My project, whatever I name I finally put on the CD covers that are coming together, is set to take off. Since being on Myspace, I've been contacted by Patrick English of Flexible Records in CD'A, who wants to release an internet-downloadable album. Yay! Bruce is setting up another noise/exp. show on the 3rd and invited me to perform. Yay! I found old tracks I thought I had lost, and discovered that Garage Band is great for arranging tracks into a seamless album experience, and decent for remixing halfass material into something more dope. I'm arranging two albums at the same time to add to my backlist of unreleased material. The Bizarre Alien's Xenoterrestrial Spacing Guild Mafia label/distro is nearly ready to announce itself in print and on the internet with my help, giving my CDs a home and venue to the ears of the world.

Metamorphibian/the problem with names

1) Warning to all artists: When posting your bands/projects, double-check that the name isn't already taken. If you step on the wrong toes, they complain and Myspace responds by totally deleting your page irrevocably. You'd be surprised - I tried Moth, of course taken, plus a hundred variants. After havingmy page pulled twice, I tried Name Witheld, but that was already a punk pand from Quebec. My pal Tim posted a page for his project Neumonic, a word he made up in like 93. Guess what? Neumonic (hip-hop, SC), Neumonic Plagye (gangsta, LA) and Neumonic Records. He finally settled on the screen name Neumonic Agent. ------------------------------------------------------------
2) I've gone under Moth and Smartfrog in the past. I've never liked either name. Although my music is good, I need a new name and a new image quick before I finalize my return to the scene (see next post). I was in the tub when it hit me... Moths metamorphosize like my sound, and frogs/amphibians are still cool... I bet nobody's taken Metamorphibian, and it's kinda cool and memorable. What do you all think?
