And of course these actually occured to me at the (in)appropriate times.
Pertaining to funerals it's pretty inappropriate to get SNL's "Dick in a Box" stuck in your head.
Pertaining to a conversation about drunk driving with my dad.
Dad: I can't have another. I'm driving. Me: Tell you what dad, just find a homeless guy and offer him a few bucks to drive you home. It's not like he has anywhere to go once he gets you to your destination.

As vapid and trite as it is, I like that "Girlfriend" song by Avril Lavigne. The production is very well done and it's quite frankly is just fun (for me) to listen to if I pay no attention to the words that came out of her mouth.
I was gonna label this post "Guilty Pleasure" but I'm not guilty.
You don't get very many first experiences at my age.
Or at least I don't.
Steph and I did however get to wake up at approximately 3:15 this morning to the house shaking, wind roaring, and lights flashing outside. The lights flashing accompanied by an electrical sizzle and then a small explosive pop. It was such a foreign way to wake up that it took us quite some time to figure out what was happening. It wasn't an alien invasion.
I got to experience being in my very first tornado.
I'm still shaken up. I'll post more later. (probably with pics)
