So, if you didn't know already, I recently entered a contest through Seattle Magazine called "Seamless in Seattle". Winners recieved a spread in Seattle Magazine's August Fashion Issue and a spot in Fashion First, the biggest fashion show in Seattle. Unfortunately, I wasn't chosen as one of the winners (I still don't understand why, but whatever), but I was featured in the following video on the Seattle Channel (See how many times you can see my garments! they're everywhere! so cool!!)
Copy and paste through RealPlayer or download it through the Seattle Channel website:
You can now view my spring/summer collection under my photos on Myspace! If you're interested in any of the items, let me know and I'll send you pricing info, etc. If you live in the Seattle area, you can also make an appointment with me to see the garments in person! And, if you're in the San Francisco area, come see me at Capsule Design Festival on May 25th ( www.capsulesf.com ) !
Last night was the last night of Sunset Bowl in Ballard. It was a Seattle institution and a meeting place for many people in this neighborhood. I went there most often when I was 18. My friend Jen and Jen-E and I would close up Tower records where we worked and bowl 'til 3 or 4am. We went so often the counter guys knew our shoe size! I had the last Midori sour on the last day of Sunset! My old drink of choice (so gross!). Here's a couple pics from last night:
