Monday night chat
Hi Kids,
Yup, its Sunday and time once again for the Monday Nite Chat Reminder! Only one more day left until that fun time on Monday evening when you and all your ARLHS friends meet and greet in the ARLHS Chat Room. Are you excited? I know I am because the Spring Lights event is only one week away and the Chat Room will be the perfect place to tell everybody your activation plans. Any last minute questions about station or antenna set-up? Well the Chat Room is just the place to ask cuz almost every week we get some of the top ARLHS LH activators checking in, like Don/N1DT of W1AA fame, Dan/KD3CQ activator of numerous Chesapeake Bay beacons, and some of our neighbors from the north, like VE3TPZ/Jim and Pierre/VE2LHP who have provided us with many Canadian Lighthouses.
Remember, we usually get going around 2330Z (1930 EDST) every Monday evening, but some people do show up earlier, so don't be bashful. I know, 2330Z may be too early for a lot of our West Coast members who would like to join in. There is no reason, however, why you folks out there can't get your own little group going, say around 7:30 or 8:00 PM local, all on your own. It just takes two or three guys to get it started and you never know who might show up. Hey, its only 10:30 over here in the East, so you might even attract a night owl or two.
This Chat Room is for ALL of us, so join in if you can, when you can.
73 & KTF,
Jim Elliott / KA3UNQ A. R. L. H. S. # 278 Gambrills, MD USA

Welcome to ARLHS blog
Good afternoon gang!
Just clearing up a bit of ARLHS paperwork and thought I'd see what this "blogging" stuff is all about. Who knows, maybe it will work better than the BeaconBot. Or may it can be a chat. Let me know your experiences as you scan around the site.
