Hi Ladies! This is going to be completely over the top!!!! We are going to be doing a Sexy Lion Tamer "For a day" High Concept shoot with a life size lion!!!!!

 It is going to be awesome and is a great opportunity to take part in a 666 high concept shoot. We will have a huge set (going to be shooting it in the downstairs studio since it is going to be so huge! Luckily it will be cool by then!). This lion is 5 feet long and 4 feet tall and can be posed on! We will have a handpainted backdrop and a built set to make this the coolest vintage circus lion tamer shoot EVER! We will have awesome top hats, cuffs, props, costumes and did I mention a LIFE SIZE LION! WHEE! If you liked our circus mini horses shoot, you will love this! You are going to feel like you are in the vintage big top!

If you haven't done a "for a day" shoot with us, basically we discount our shoot by 2/3rds to do this shoot. Our high concepts start at $1200 and go up. You can be in a high concept shoot for only $400!

The dates we have available:

October 25^th 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm

November 15^th 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm

November 16^th 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm

So, 12 spots! We will provide all of the extra costuming and props, set, lion, hair and makeup, etc. Gals will need to bring a corset (any color as long as it fits well and makes you feel sexy!), and a pair of fishnets! We are going for SEXY lion tamer so get/bring a corset that cinches you perfectly and flaunts your lion tamers!

Lisa Naeyaert will be doing the hair and makeup! We have some awesome avant garde ideas to make this Lion tamer shoot super theatrical and completely over the top! If you have been to a shoot lately, you'll know I have been talking about this shoot nonstop cause it is going to be soo cool, and BIG!

We will need to fill all spots, as the lion costs a ton, but we are thinking you gals are going to be as excited as we are about this one. Even LISA is going to get made up (by herself) and shoot this one cause it is so amazing! It'll be my first time photographing Lisa! Whee! In your email, specify what date and time is your first choice, then list your second. We do this as first come first served, so sometimes you might not get your first preference. We will email once your slot has been assigned, then we'll send you instructions on where to send the deposit. We are asking for $150 in nonrefundable deposit for this one. It is nonrefundable, so think carefully about the date and time you want! We are buying the lion, getting the custom backdrop painted and having a ton of other stuff delivered for this shoot, so that is what your deposit will be going for! You will get 5 fully edited photos on a disc that you can have printed anywhere, and you will get a personal gallery of all photos taken, in case you love them so much you want more! Each additional edit is just $10.

Too Rad! One of our photos flashes on the screen in a story about the modeling agency Ugly NY. If you don't know, Ugly NY represents unique looking models. Tattooed folks, pierced, unique looking, character models. Here is the spot:

Frida Kahlo Shoot with MC!

Hey Folks! I have been editing away, Hawaiian gals and individual client shoots! Thought I'd take a minute and post some pics we took of the gorgeous model MC (Michelle) as Friday Kahlo. Lisa Naeyaert did the insane makeup. Those are not her real eyebrows! The genius, Lisa, individually glued each hair to make the distinctive mono-brow! Too fun!!! G

Hi Folks! We had a record setting sell-out of our "Hawaiian Nautical High Concept For a Day"!! We booked 34 GALS in less than 12 hours, and the first 16 booked up in less than 20 minutes! I cannot thank you ladies enough! We couldn't do what we do without you! We had so many more than the original 16 slots, we opened up more dates to cover the girls who still wanted in.

I am posting the schedule here so you gals can reference it as time goes by as some of the dates are all the way into August. If any slots change or switch around, I'll be advised, and will update it here so it remains accurate!

Pin-up, Hawaiian, Nautical, High Concept For a Day!

HOLY SHIT!!! WE BOOKED UP ALL 16 SLOTS IN LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!!!!! 20 minutes to be exact! YOU GALS ROCK!!!!!!!!!! I AM A LITTLE TEARY!! ;) THIS FOR A DAY IS NOW CLOSED!

If you have not participated in one of 666's For a Days, this is the one! I have been collecting, for MONTHS, super cool props to make a

HIGH CONCEPT FOR A DAY!

If you like our unique high concept shoots, with lots of props and junk and quirky things and overflowing sets, put in the photo, this is the shoot for you! This will be a full high concept set built with lots of stuff going on. If you have been to my studio lately, you have probably seen the nautical, Hawaiian, jungle props laying around in piles. This is because I was waiting for this shoot!

We will have wardrobe for you and hair and makeup is included. If you are a voluptuous gal and are worried about the wardrobe choices, don't be! We will have flattering outfits for every size! We have vintage-styled swimsuits, sarongs, a vintage hula dancer skirt and outfit, hawaiian dresses etc, so there will be something for every gal that will make you look fabulous!

We will also change the set around for each day that we shoot, we have so much stuff to use!

The cost of the shoot will be $350. The cool thing is we are posting this with lots of time till the shoot so you have plenty of time to save a few bucks a day and join us! We ask for a  $150 non-refundable deposit to secure your slot, and to discourage no-shows or cancellations. The rest is due in cash on shoot day.

To secure your slot, email us at book666pics@gmail.com. Deposits will be taken by Paypal, but do not deposit until you receive an email back from us with your timeslot. We will invoice you! Please be patient as we get flooded when we post these and they take a bit to go through and email everyone back. We will confirm your time slot after we have confirmed the deposit has been received.

You will receive 5 fully edited photos of my choice (these are always the best!). You will also receive a soft copy of your contact sheet so you can see the all of the photos we took. Additional edits of your choice for a nominal cost.

Seriously, we would normally shoot this as an art piece/print cause it's gonna be a cool high concept, but we thought it might be more fun to do it as a For a Day! In our confirmation email to the group we will be asking you for your dress/clothing size so we can pre-gather the perfect outfits/costumes for y'all!

• Deposit of $150 needed to secure spot.  Please note this is non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions.  There will be no reschedules for appointments missed.  This is because we are so busy with regular bookings that these deeply discounted shoots are scheduled at this particular time for a reason.
• You will be assigned your time slot based on order of response.  You can't imagine the response we get from these For-A-Days, it's great!!  But that great response means TONS of emails coming in and we simply can't manage everyone's individual time and day requests.  Please be sure you are available that entire weekend until you are assigned your time.
• You will receive up to 5 fully edited images.  At least 2 hours of editing goes into each image selected to make you look absolutely flawless!  And as these shoots are so deeply discounted, the number of images is slightly reduced as well.  Please be sure you understand the number of images before booking.
• Be prepared to look and feel amazing!  Makeup and hair is included in this discounted rate.

A little of this, a little of that.....

Hi Folks! Whew! SXSW is over, and I can drive wherever I want again. Life is good. This blog has no specific purpose, kind of a catch all blog.

If you are a gal who booked us for Vegas, and you have NOT sent us your deposit, it must be sent to the paypal address by Thursday, or we will give your spot away. We have a waiting list of about 12 gals, and it is only fair that we give your spot to the next gal in line. So, email me or make your deposit by Thursday, or we will have to give your spot to the next gal in line.

Random: So, I am a really hard customer when it comes to live shows. I spent the majority of my 20’s seeing live shows in Austin. If I do not absolutely love a show, I generally leave after a few songs, regardless of whether or not I have paid. If you only get to see 2 shows in 2008......Go see GOGOL BORDELLO live! It was phenomenal! Truly amazing live show. I’ll go find Lian’s mypace, she was taking pics from the VIP balcony where we were, and I am sure she got some good ones. The other show that you have to go see is Manu Chao. These 2 live shows have nearly ruined me for all other shows!

If you have 6 people stsying with you for SXSW, you should not be surprised when you wake up on Sunday afternoon and your toilet in your brand new house is broken. Just sayin’!

I did not know 85% of the people that came to the studio for the SXSW party on Saturday night. Huh.
