Birth announcements and baby shower invitations have to be filled out soon.  If you want to come to a baby shower, please let me know.  I really want to see everyone. Sometimes its good to pull out the music that you once loved that has since become a haven for dust mites.  I'm visiting people in Azle who just happened to have one of my all-time favorite CDs.  I rediscovered an old favorite song with that disc in the CD player.  Here are the beautiful lyrics...I've put the song on my page for your listening pleasure. my birthday: 18 days and counting...

Quite a few people have been asking about my birthday...like what do I want to do, what do I want for presents...etc.

I'm not quite sure about plans yet...I will keep you updated..but as for presents here is the deal:

I don't want presents if you can't afford them.  I would prefer time with you, or a drink, or ingredients to cook us a meal, or a sandwich at Jimmy John's.  Now for those of you who just insist here is the link to my amazon wishlist.

I’ve been waiting 4 years for this weekend....actually more like 9 years....

Please come join me as I finally get to see The Black and White Years and Scott Butler perform.  I was lucky enough to sit beside the piano where Scott played instead of eating lunch during high school, and now I finally get to see him on stage. 

The music is great, the venue is perfect, and I am gonna shake my ass and have so much fun I forget my name.  There is also a one time offer availible with this show...IF YOU COME ALL YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN. I'm learning to embrace the new.  Its hard because I thought I loved my old life.  It turns out I was just numb.  I had stopped feeling and became blind so I couldn't get hurt or see the lies, and no one needs to be like that. Its odd what you will consent to when you are delusional and idealistic with a very charismatic individual to steer your path.  So now I say try new things, be scared, get hurt, see how messed up everyone is, and live every minute of it.  Hiding from drama and pain only hurts worse in the end.  Believe me, I didn't realize what I had done until the all the pain of these last months washed over me and I was renewed.

Someone I once knew said, "Don't listen to what others have to say about anything" and I think thats sorta true because people constantly lie, but keep in mind that some of the most important things I know were passed on to me by other, much wiser individuals. I hope that someday I can be the kind of person that others look to for wisdom.

Have I mentioned that I love being surrounded by music lately? I found a CD Brandon made for me back in the day with all of my favorite songs that I tried to claim were written about me.  Ain't no sunshine, just like a woman, scarlet begonias, old fashioned morphine, man...what a CD...That made me feel really special.  I've been dreaming about singing every night.  I hear my fantastic neighbor playing constantly, and Will, my precious boyfriend and Shu will play any song that I want to sing.  I am so very very very happy.

I did and its making me feel alot better.  I think listening to music that makes you remember is always a good idea, and Scott's voice reminds me of home.  If you are ever interested I have some of his old recordings and some of his old old recordings...I'd love to hook you up.  Well, I'm making it, but your energy and well wishes are always appreciated.  You guys are the reasons I've made it thus far. By the time I land I will have been in Denton, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Dallas, Denton, and Atlanta in a 24 hour span.

I'm having trouble remembering what a bed feels like.  However, I did see Payton Manning in Houston and that along with all the other things I did there makes it worth it. Thank you Will and Gabe. :)

I will be in Atlanta by 11am Christmas morning.  I will be back in Texas by 8am on Friday, Dec. 29. If I didn't hug and kiss you before I left consider this my group hug.
