Despotism
Current mood: worried
Category: Writing and Poetry
My reasons are my own; I am on my own side.
I will not apologize, For what I don't deny.
The pursuit of happiness, Has been deprived.
An unalienable right? Somebody lied!
People living on the street, Every day begging please.
We have unemployed vets, With their jobs overseas.
With no middle class, We're all minorities.

If I had a dollar
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
If I had a dollar, I would try and change the world. Bring peace and happiness, to those who have no bliss.
If I had a dollar, I would give a quarter to the earth. Remove all of the pollution, from the world we live in.
If I had a dollar, I would give a quarter to education. Our children are the future, not me and you.
If I had a dollar, I would give a quarter to healthcare. This is self evident, but the majority cannot afford it.
If I had a dollar, I would give a quarter to the hungry. For the harshest form of torture; is hunger.
If I had a dollar, on the basics I would spend. But I do not have a dollar, so I will do my best till then.

The Dragonfly Song (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
Verse
I was in the park The other day Taking a stroll by myself. I stopped for a moment, By a tree To retie my shoelace. And there he was A big Ol' dragonfly Looking me strait in the eye Well, I juked to the left And juked to the right; I tried with all of my might. But no matter how hard I tried, He kept staring me right in the eye.
Chorus
I just can't think Of what I did To earn the old stink eye From this here dragonfly
Verse
I started running Trying to get away. But no matter How fast I went In front of my face he did stay. I turned my head And he held his position. I started to go insane. He kept on staring, And I started swinging Trying to whoosh him away. He was juking and ducking Swaying and bobbing then he started swaying from side to side Going from eye to eye and back again.
Chorus
I just can't think Of what I did To earn the old stink eye From this here dragonfly
Verse
Well, I started screaming For him to go away. I yelled to God "What have I done To be treated this way?" And at that verry moment The dragonfly Landed right on my nose. Well, I took a swing, And he flew away; I ended up breaking my nose. When I looked up there he was, Looking me straight in the eye. Well, I was so frustrated I pulled out my hair. And at that moment A cop told me That it would be alright.
Chorus
I just can't think Of what I did To earn the old stink eye From this here dragonfly
Verse
Now here I am In the loony bin Trying to explain myself. "But you don't understand It was a dragonfly." "No, he isn't God" "No, he didn't break my nose" They put me in a room With the rest of the loonies; I just sat by myself at the window. And there he was The dragonfly; Staring me straight in the eye. Well, I did the only thing that a person in this position could do. I just fell to my knees And began to cry.
Chorus
I just can't think Of what I did To earn the old stink eye From this here dragonfly
Oh! I just can't think Of what I did To earn the old stink eye From this here dragonfly

Category: Writing and Poetry
Verse
It's been seven years now Since I left this town
Now I'm back again to this place called home
Chorus
It does not seem the same this place called home
it's a different world it's like a whole new town
but did it really change or was it just me
Verse
I go to all the places That I used to hang
I see all the faces None of them the same
Chorus
It does not seem the same this place called home
it's a different world it's like a whole new town
but did it really change or was it just me
Verse
I try to buy can of soda From the corner store
Only to find out It's not there no more
Chorus
It does not seem the same this place called home
it's a different world it's like a whole new town
but did it really change or was it just me
Bridge
I joined the military Did a couple tours
I did a lot of swimming On foreign shores
And ended up a stranger On my own back porch
Chorus
It does not seem the same this place called home
it's a different world it's like a whole new town
but did it really change or was it just me

Beauty and the Junky (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
Verse
This is the story, Of beauty and the junky.
She was the beauty, And her friend was the junky.
She tried to be there for her, but ended up alone in the crowd.
Chorus
The junky was her best friend, All the way till the end.
The beauty loved the junky, But the junky had no friends.
It was a one way relationship, From the very beginning.
Was it really worth it, With all things said.
Verse
The beauty was liked by many, But the junky was despised.
The beauty stood by her side, The junky kept bringing her down.
The beauty wanted to do the right thing, But the junky would not sing.
Chorus
The junky was her best friend, All the way till the end.
The beauty loved the junky, But the junky had no friends.
It was a one way relationship, From the very beginning.
Was it really worth it, With all things said.
Verse
The beauty's friends pleaded every day, Begging her to walk away.
But the beauty loved the junky, And friends they would stay.
The beauty committed suicide, The day the junky died.
Bridge
This is the tragic story of the beauty, Not the junky.
Of how she started out, As the friend of a junky.
The only ones who truly died, Where those weeping by her side.
Chorus
The junky was her best friend, All the way till the end.
The beauty loved the junky, But the junky had no friends.
It was a one way relationship, From the very beginning.
But the real tragedy; The beauty was the junky

Utopian Hell
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
We live in hell, each and every day; The hell called utopia, some would say. No matter how hard, we try not to see; No matter how hot, we're content with our way.
We rape and pillage our own land, Holding out our empty hand. Looking out upon an empty land, Mad we stay, content we stand.
We greedily cover our eyes, to those who cry. Trying not to hear, as we walk by. Not understanding why they are still there. Perpetuating ignorance, by remaining sly.
It does not matter who rings the starting bell; It does not change who is doing well. When power is content, the week stay surpassed; Power has the money, yet the week split the bill.
Lonely idols lead us astray, They die before us, day by day. We take to their lead; Failing to take heed.
Equality among the classes; Ensuring we burn the masses. We kill the good in man, Jail the one who take a stand.
We are condemned live in and do well, In our self made utopian hell.

At Midnight
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
'Twas midnight, as I lay in bed; Thoughts still not settled in my head. A gloomy day; a restless night. It was dark; just moon light. I went to the window, to look out; 'twas a raven looking in. I sat there thinking for a while, Then I noticed the ravens smile. Oh raven! Who are you! Who may you be? And why do you stand there before me? The raven stood there for some time, Soon the sun began to shine. The raven then flew away; Saying all she need say.

Captain Hook’s War
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
This is the story of Captain Hook; And the noble war he took. It all started one day; In a land far far away. When Tinker Bell used Pixy Dust To rule the fairies with an iron fist.
Captain Hook told Tinker Bell "leave the fairies be" "and turn over the Pixy Dust to me". Tinker Bell refused; That she ever had, or ever used. Cpt. Hook places sanctions on the Fairies' land. From place to place he would follow Tinker Bell all across the land; Looking for the Pixy Dust that she had. Tinker Bell; tired of the pace, Asked Peter Pan to end the chase. Peter attacked the Captain; Cutting off his hand. "Peter Pan is evil"; Hook would declare "As is that pixy"!, "All need be ware"!
"They cut off my hand"! Hook takes the war to the fairies and Neverland. Hook attacks everything he sees; The fairies become refugees. Tinker Bell sends a letter to the fairies In a fit of rage. Peter flees to Neverpeak; to base his campaigns. His land may be lost, but he still remains.
A thousand of Cpt. Hooks pirates have lost their lives, But the war rages on; on both sides. Lord Ombra criticizes Cpt. Hook for the war he took; "No Pixy Dust found, no matter where you look". Tinker Bell is captured alive; in a fox hole trying to hide. Lord Ombra stays quiet, swallowing his pride. Hook declares his first mate governor of the fairies land; And the fairies return hand in hand. The pirates capture never land, "the wars over". Cpt. Hook declares Rufio the governor.
Peter resists Cpt. Hooks advance; with bombs and a dance. Lord Ombra sends the Shadow Thieves to rally the wenches "Cpt. we beg you, please leave". Hook is furious at the Shadow Thieves; but no pirate leaves. The girl lost in the meadow throws a fit; she is asked to stop, but doesn't quit. Cpt. Hook stops searching for pixy dust in fairies land; "It's in the meadow, in the little girls' hand".
Lord Ombra says "I will no longer fund the war"; Cpt. Hook replies "That's what you're there for". Ravello questions the wars length, "How much longer will it take"? The girl bargains for more time; "I don't have any" as she starts the production line. "What? Pixy Dust!? The girl must be stopped", say the animals in the northern forest" we can pound her with rocks". Cpt. Hook has two wars and not enough pirates for more.
The wenches are irate; Yet the shadow thieves spread more hate. Lord Ombra damns captain hook; by rigging his book. Cpt. Hook defiantly claims "till the end"; more pirates he then sends. The wenches rise up with mutinous rage, every one trying to take the stage. Cpt. Hook says "when I'm gone just remember", "This war will never be over".

The song remains (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
(whispered) I love!
I love!
I love!
Mistakes, mistaken for mistakes; Mistakes are no mistake! Answers without questions, Questions answer questions.
(forceful, but not screamed) Can't breathe!
Can't breathe!
Can't breathe!
I caught a case of vertigo, The earths still; that I know! There's no reason to the tone; Too much reason to be known!
(whispered) I know!
You know!
I know!
No end to be known; this must end! Life goes on; The song remains.
(forceful, but not screamed) Goodbye!
Goodbye!
Goodbye!

Ask yourself why (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
The other day. I when to a shrink So he could tell me What I think He said, (Whisper) "Sit down, sit down, sit down". (Whisper) "relax, relax, relax". (Whisper) "tell me your ambition".
Destiny died; The day I was born. The way things are; They're meant to be torn. He said, (Whisper) "I see, I see, I see" (Whisper) "Explain this to me"?
Ask yourself why Do the clouds cry? And at that moment, Birds leave the sky. He said, (Whisper) "No, no, no" (Whisper) "You will have to convince me" (Whisper) "I do not believe"!
You convince me nie, And I'll tell you why; You all think the same, But not as I. He said, (Whisper) "Not true, not true, not true" (Whisper) "How did these thoughts get in you"? (Whisper) "My credentials are true".
"I see", I say; Credentials before me. "Do walls of Papier-mâché Define thee"?

Billy’s Rebirth (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
The September sun was rising.
Darkness from the horizon.
A cloud of thunder came down crashing.
People finding shelter.
From the gathering storm.
Fire falling from the sky.
The towns buildings would burn.
One after the other.
Falling in turn.
Ooh! The town now gathered.
Bagging for him to return.
"Assassins in the wind".
They cried out to the kid.
"They came with the thunder".
"A couple thousand murdered".
The smoke started to clear.
The assassins fled in fear.
His essence had arising.
They awoke the blue eyed one.
Didn't known what they where doing.
Now they're on the run.
From Billy and his gun.

Downsideup (Song)
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry
I'm told to sit. So I stand, but stay in place.
I'm told to walk backwards. So I walk forwards, but the wrong way.
I'm asked to talk. So I listen; by the way of thinking.
I'm told to eat, So I drink a protein shake.
I'm told to go left. I'm right; I go left!
I'm told to walk. So I do; on my hands.
I'm not you! This is my life to make.
My world's upright, You're upside down; wearing a frown.
Not sure if i'm right, but I'm willing to fight.
When there's no more rounds, Why would I settle down?
I'm living a life, so I must be doing something right.
I'm not letting myself down, I'm flying free; feet firmly on the ground.
