We've put a demo of a new song up. The song is called A Part Of You and it was recorded by Jack Farley in April 08.........We will put more up over the coming weeks. We're probably going to record the new album with Don Fleming in NY in September, and we're looking at touring in the USA and the UK/Europe maybe after making the record..

Also, we're playing a couple of shows in Australia in the next two weeks:

May Saturday 17th at Spectrum in Sydney w. St Helens, Circle Pit, and Songs

May Saturday 24th at The Tote in Melbourne w. St Helens, and Lee Memorial

back in Australia!

Hello

 or 'Hi Y'all' as they say State Side!

Well, as some of you will know we are now back in Australia...So What's Happenin'? ( Americans seem to say that a lot too..)

After a brief jaunt in US, UK, Paris and Germany followed by a VERY intensive and enjoyable tour of America supporting  Ted Leo and the Pharmacists,  we are now ready to relax a bit! 45 shows ( which means 45 cases of beer, ) will do that to you!

BUT Wait!!  First we have our AUSTRALIAN TOUR to speak of-  we've already played our Adelaide and Brisbane launches (last week). We had a ball. We were fresh of the plane, albeit a little jet lagged but both shows went really well. Big Thanks to everyone who came along!! Thanks also to Hit The Jackpot, Panel of Judges and Brisbanes Look! Pond for supporting us and for lending gear.

This Friday is our melbourne launch at NSC with Spider Vomit and Crayon Fields..and then this Saturday is our Sydney launch at Spectrum with Crayon Fields and Piklet). We will have t-shirts and 180 gram vinyl versions of the album for sale at all shows..Hope to see you there...

It is reallly amazing to be back home, its the little things you notice like for instance the cheese isn't fluro orange over here! Awesome. However, we have been to some pretty amazing places over the last 2 months, from Miami Beach to the Calexico Desert for example, we also played in the club where they filmed 'Purple Rain'..cool.. and it was ALL captured by Lauren Bamford so expect to see some new photos on our website soon.  There is also some very drunken video footage of us after the Electrical Audio 10th anniversary party in Chicago, which is too shocking to show you so that goes into the vault! But you should check out Lauren's myspace for a photo glimpse of the tour :

Anybody who likes the cover to our latest album might also possibly appreciate this. My sister has written a book, which is illustrated by the late Udo Sellbach ( my father). Udo inspired our album cover with his amazing series of perspex interchangable 'globe like' artworks which he made in the 70s. I rediscovered those perspex works shortly after he passed away and was so excited for them to be on our album cover. But check out this link if you would like to see some of his drawing or find out more about this amazing book. (it also comes with a cd..) .its cool. Check it out if you are at all inclined..

Australian tour dates announced!!

Finally we have Australian album launch tour dates- (the dates are in the shows list).
