I know that I have been promising some of you this blog for ages. So today I thought I would finally get it posted.
First of all I am really sorry that I haven't got to any blogs lately. I have been really crazy at work and with Eastern Star and sewing... Something had to give and it was myspace that seemed the least important. I know I know How could I???? LOL But thank-you everyone for the birthday wishes and Happy Birthday to everyone with birthday's in July!
BTW DR that photo was just plain gross... LOL
John I love the video!
Sarah thanks for telling EVERYONE on your blog... Funny tho' when you called me you forgot to say anything... DUH! hahaha
So now on to the whole purpose of this blog.
It seems like just yesterday or maybe just a month or so ago I was telling everyone that I had a brand new grandson... Remember? This was one of the pics that I origianally posted.
Well my question is just how the heck did he get to be this big already???
and already with his own remote because typical man he won't leave the REAL remote alone and keeps changing the station on his parents so they gave him his own. LOL
I don't have a great deal to say but thought I would post some of the pics that my youngest has posted the last few days. My oldest daughter, (Amanda) husband (Austin) and granddaughter(Luna) spent the last three weeks in Florida with Shanna, Brian and Hunter and they took many many many pictures.
We have decided that Hunter is going to go to school thinking that the paparazzi should be following him with flashes because Shanna takes so many pictures but it does help me not feel like I am missing so much.
So here are some of the photos
Amanda and Shanna
Hunter at his first Red Sox game with Aunt Amanda
Shanna, Brian, and Hunter
Hunter having his first s'more!
Luna trying her best to get on TV The sign said something like: "We drove all the way from Vermont to see our Red Sox" (They were playing Tampa Bay)
Luna and Hunter at Sea World
The three boys
Hunter's opinion of something at Sea World... lol
And even tho' this last one is a month old already it just reminds me of the look his mother used to give me... of "Hmmm what can I get into now?"
So I hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend... As always I will try to get to your blogs but there isn't much hope for this weekend as Sarah already said that we were going to be running around as it is this weekend... :)

The Huge White Spider
(sung to the tune of The Itsy Bitsy Spider)
The huge white spider was in my car today. I tried to get it, before it got away.
It escaped my napkin and disappeared below and I ran off the road while crying to my sister.
My sister laughed her ass off at me while I imagined it crawling up my leg....
Just a little ditty for you all.
Have a great day!
Update:
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to say hello to all that have posted and thank-you for all of your comments. Sarah seemed to have done a fine job of moderating this blog yesterday herself and unfortunately I don't have time to answer each comment myself right at the moment. I hope that you all enjoyed this latest installment of the tales of Sarah and as soon as a new one happens know that I will post it for you all. LOL
Homosexuality and Gay and Lesbian Marriage Revisited

Homosexuality and Gay and Lesbian Marriage Revisited
In the past few weeks I have read several different blogs on this from both sides of the great divide and just felt that I needed to get my two cents in on this once again. What is posted below is a jumble of thoughts that have been rolling around in my mind for the past few weeks. And before any of you have a chance to say it... I know there is a great deal of room for thoughts to roll around in there.
Science is still trying to prove that being a homosexual can happen from birth. While I have a tendency to lean toward that thought in some ways I am still trying to deal with the fact that the homosexual agenda is being driven into our minds every where we go these days and that alone can help some people decide that they are gay or lesbian also.
I don't believe in marraige for gays or lesbians (much to one of my sister's dismay) and yet I think that gay and lesbian couples deserve to have the same rights as married couples. Heck I know more gay and lesbian couples that have been together longer than heterosexual couples but that is neither here nor there. I believe that homosexual couples should be allowed to have civil unions which would enable them to have the opportunities that married couples do.
I guess when you come right down to it...I don't condone homosexuality and yet at the same time I don't condem it. I do believe that it is in some form a sin or "wrong" in the eyes of God and yet at the same time I believe that God loves all and forgives all IF he is asked to forgive. So where is that taking me? To that big word IF... IF you ask God to forgive you then you have to be willing to admit that you sinned. If you don't ask God to forgive you I honestly don't believe that he will, even tho' he will still love you.
Am I saying that if you are a homosexual you can not be a Christian? No, only because I have no right to answer that. God is the one that will have the deciding factor in that. I don't have the right to force my beliefs onto anyone any more than someone has the right to force their beliefs onto me.
I don't believe that homosexuality should be taught in school. But then again I have never agreed with any kind of sex education being taught in school. I always felt that it should come from home but...to teach about homosexuality to pre-teens or just teens when they are at their most vulnerable and coming into their own sexuality and being pressured by their peers to try this, and try that... It is just one more thing that a teen doesn't need to be burdened with.
I don't go around with a sign announcing that I am heterosexual, I don't organize parades to promote heterosexual behavior, and I don't start out by introducing myself as "Hi I'm Lucinda and I like men!"
The only thing I ever organized was an HLBA meeting and even then I was misunderstood by the dark side and called rude and condecending.
Why is it necessary for homosexuals to have their Gay Pride Parades, P-Flag Meetings, and people marching with signs saying "I'm Gay and Proud of it!!!" Why is it necessary for homosexuals to force their way of life into my way of life? What you do in your home is your business and what I do in my home is my business.
As you have noticed I have not used any copy and pasted articles or anyone else's words to put forth my point. I welcome the same from all of you. I would love to read your views on this...not someone else's.
Well Dang it Paula.... Now it is Done!

First off.... Thank-you so much Paula for tagging me. You are such a sweet, sweet person. *mumble, grumble, grrrrs.....*
On to the purpose of this dang blog.
10 Things You May not Know About Me
1. I once spent the better part of a spring/summer pushing a Harley more than riding on the back of it. (The joys of being the good friend of a Harley owner.)
2. I once watched above owner of the Harley put someone in a head lock because they called him "Wally". The kid in the headlock couldn't understand why I got away with it and yet he never dared call me "Lucy" either.... BTW.... Hi ya Wally.... It's spring time... Are you out pushing Princess?
3. I once slept in a convertable, in a parking garage with 2 of my sisters. Once of which instisted that we lock the doors for saftey and put the windows up even tho' we had the top down.
4. I have slept in the Taj Mahal.
5. I have worn moose antlers that blink while shopping with my best friend at Christmas time. (my children when younger hated shopping with me)
6. I spent an hour driving in the pouring rain in wyoming one night because my sisters and I wanted to see the lightening storm.
7. I am sending out invitations to my neighbors to come to a tubing party on Memorial Day Weekend in my front yard. After which everyone will be required to take home several buckets of snow from my still 6 foot snow bank. (Did I mention that the people across the street have no snow in their yard?)
8. My grandson is now 5 months old.... and rolling all over the place. Time has gone by so very very fast! I miss them so much.
9. I am not nearly as creative as my sister Sarah when it comes to doing these damn things. I do not in any way have the patience to go looking for and posting pictures. Besides that they don't have any cool butterfly pictures doing anything other than just sitting there.
10. I joined myspace because my sister was driving me nuts talking about it. (I thought it was just for kids) I figured I would be bored to death and instead I have met many new friends and reconnected with many old friends and have had a great time.
Now I am done. No pictures, no fancy colors. Nuttin' honey. and yes I am posting this and going to bed pretty soon but that's life. LOL
What is HLBA and why was it started and other stuff?

In reading another blog I saw the questioned asked.... "What is HLBA?"
Hateful Liberal Blogs Anonymous was started back last November when I was having a hard time dealing with a particular Liberal bloggers blogs that were filled with hate against conservatives etc.
I put the blog out there just because I was tired of trying to refute this one bloggers crazy lies and getting attacked by her minions. The blog went to over 14 pages and out of the thousands of comments that were made there were probably only 50 that were hateful towards anyone imparticular... The rest were comments about food, waiters, music, current events... we even had one person try and post a map as to where to find everything. LOL (That didn’t work btw)
There were no rules made and I NEVER EVER thought it would go anywhere. It was just a rant blog for me and all of us have done rant blogs at one time or another...
KC has always accused me of clicking and clacking on Liberal blogs and I do on several whether there is an HBLA meeting going on or not. Some Liberal bloggers have become good friends, some are not but if I really disagree with them I may still post on the blog.
After I posted the first blog it was decided that there should be another meeting... (Mostly because the first one pissed so many people off) LOL So it some how evovled into what it is now.
To be honest? My original blog didn’t belong in News and Politics because there really was no news in the blog itself. I also have stated since then that mine was a pot luck supper where everyone brought their own food and drink.
The blogs have now evolved into quite complicated, fancy News and Politics worthy blogs with the all important "food and drink" provided, and some kind of news worthy, political type of quiz, contest, or something to make it "news and politics" worthy. There are jabs at liberal democrats but they are mostly done in fun and there have been many liberals that do visit the blogs and if they are nice they are allowed to stay... If they aren’t they usually get a whiffle bat up side the head and told to leave. LOL
Finally my purpose to the original blog was not to have ANY RULES. Everyone is always able to choose their own path and as long as it was respectable (well even that went by the wayside now that I think of it. LOL) it was allowed on the blog. It was to keep from bickering with others over petty things.
I am also sorry that I haven’t been able to be on as much lately. Working almost 50 hours a week and only having one computer in the house (since my laptop shit the bed) has taken a toll on my online time. I will try and get on more and visit AND post on your blogs. I have visited many and read them but just never clicked the post button. I know shame on me.
*To make this News and Politics worthy I have a question for ya all.
Who do you think is going to win the Democratic primary?
Hillary or Obama?
My humble opinion is if they keep it up with their lies and other crap that the two of them have been spewing then the party will just implode. LOL No matter what, I love what they are doing because it is only helping us to get McCain in the White House because I don’t mind telling you that 6 months ago I was really concerned about if we would be able to pull it off.
Have a great day everyone, I am off to work and I will try and answer everyone tonight when I get home.
This very well may just be a first and a last. I have come to the realization that I agree with Keith Oberman about something. Talk about being scary!
I am posting the video below and to those of you that can’t stomach him (I almost didn’t watch this to begin with because he normally makes me nauseous) just listen to it for a little while. It is only about 8 minutes but it is 8 minutes of enlightenment.
It totally amazes me that the democrats that support Hillary don’t see this. They are all about peace and love and not being a racist and blah blah blah.... Yea right. Their candidate that they are so blindly following (mostly because she is the first woman presidential candidate) has so many flaws that makes her not worth a plug nickle as my Mother would say.
I so wish that these people would wake up and see that they are doing exactly what they accuse the republicans of doing. They are being sheep and are following eachother and leading their fellow democrats to slaughter.
Anyway here is the video... I will not be on much today as I have to work. Something new and different huh? and by the time I get home hubby will be home and on this computer sooo hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get on and answer some of you. Be good and be respectful but have a blast or two or three at these crazy Hillary supporters.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Michael Ortiz, 202 228 5566
WASHINGTON, D.C - U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) today released the following statement after the Center for Disease Control (CDC) confirmed that housing trailers contaminated with formaldehyde were provided to Hurricane Katrina victims. In December, the Senate passed legislation introduced by Senators Obama, McCaskill and Landrieu to launch an investigation into reports of contamination and negligence by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA). This law was originally offered in July 2007 as an amendment to the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations bill, with cosponsorship from Senators Mark Pryor (D-AK), Joseph Lieberman (ID-CT), John Kerry (D-MA), and Tim Johnson (D-SD).
"Today's CDC report confirms our worst fears - the trailers distributed to victims of Hurricane Katrina by the Bush Administration were contaminated with dangerous levels of toxic fumes.
"Every day we learn more and more about the Bush Administration's catastrophic failure to respond to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Instead of deploying the resources required to save lives and rebuild communities, the Administration consistently cut corners and buried the truth. Lives were put at risk, and countless Americans were left homeless and without the help they needed to rebuild.
"When reports surfaced that families living in these trailers suffered from severe headaches and children suffered from bloody noses, I joined with Senators McCaskill and Landrieu to introduce legislation to force the Bush Administration to take swift action and guarantee that Hurricane Katrina survivors seeking shelter in FEMA trailers were not putting their families at risk.
"I demand that the President immediately find safe shelter for these families, who have suffered so much after the federal government failed to protect them during Hurricane Katrina."
My answer to this????
BULLSHIT!!!!!!
Did I say it loud enough? Because if I didn't I would be more than happy to yell it loud enough for all of those sorry ass politicians to hear me in DC and in Lousianna.
First of all it has been 2 1/2 years since Hurrican Katrina. WTF are these people still doing in the trailers? The trailers were for TEMPORARY HOUSING... Do any of these people know what temporary mean?
lasting, existing, serving, or effective for a time only; not permanent: a temporary need; a temporary job.
..>
–noun ..>..>..>..>
..>
2.
an office worker hired, usually through an agency on a per diem basis, for a short period of time.
..>
His last statement was what got me the angriest.
"I demand that the President immediately find safe shelter for these families, who have suffered so much after the federal government failed to protect them during Hurricane Katrina."
Who the hell does he think he is demanding the President do ANYTHING!!! The federal government has not failed to protect or help these people. FEMA and the federal government have bent over backwards several times for these people and they have done nothing but spit in our faces.
The trailers were provided to families that were victims of the hurricane as a temporary housing. Something that would give them a more "homey" place than the hotel rooms they were living in or the church shelters that they were first living in. Again we have that damn word temporary. It is not the federal governments job, duty or anything else to provide brand spanking new houses to these people.
For cripes sake if your house for some reason catches fire tomorrow or the roof caves in by a tree falling or something. DO YOU expect the federal government to give you a new home? I will even throw in the fact that you don't for some reason have insurance on the house. Do you expect President Bush to come and build you a new flipping house? I can't believe the balls these people have. I can't believe that Senator in Lousiana after all the bullshit that was pulled when "Katrina" was coming ashore and hit, has the balls to blame President Bush for anything.
I worked in Mississippi for 6 months after the storm. I talked with evacuees from both Lousianna and Mississippi. Let me tell you there was such a big difference between the Mississippi people and the New Orleans people! Now I am NOT saying that they were ALL that way so don't frigging jump down my throat but black and white, green, purple, red.... You name the race I talked with them. They were in churches at first and then when the churches had to close the shelters after 8 weeks the people that were left were offered hotel rooms. 95% of the people that were left in the shelters were from New Orleans (at least the people that I saw) and when they were offered hotel rooms a good portion of them went for the most expensive, exclusive hotels they could find. They went from sitting on their butts in the shelters allowing 85 year old church ladies to wait on them hand and foot to sitting in their high class hotel rooms with their feet up on the furniture watching Jerry Springer. Only now they were bitching that they didn't have enough money because they had to buy their own food (the churches provided them with 3 meals and snacks each day) and they had their hands out again for more money. By the way they had already received the $2000.00 from FEMA to buy incidentals, plus a good many of them had received money and goods from Red Cross and the Salvation Army!
I would bring newspapers, look for jobs, and apartments for these people. I would do everything but go and apply for the job and do the job for them and they would do nothing but complain. When asked what they wanted to do? The answer was normally "I want to go back to New Orleans. I love it there."
How's that song go? "You can't always get what you want....."
It just blows my mind that 2 1/2 years later these people still have their hands out saying help me, help me and blaming President Bush for everything!
Get up off your ASSES AND GET A FLIPPING JOB!!!!!
When you have found a job then get an apartment and quit blaming everyone else for your shortcomings.
As far as the politicians go? Just STFU.
OK I am done. Now I will go back in my little hidey hole and be the nice butterfly. Just wanted to let ya all know I was pissed off.
Did anyone NOT figure that out cuz if you didn't I will gladly shoot you an email that will let you know. LOL
Let the Count Down Begin!!!! Who will be first?

What is the Republican Party?
First of all I would like to apologize to all whose blogs I have not visited in the last few months.I started a part time job before Christmas that I have yet to work less then 38 hours a week at have been kind of busy trying to fit that in to my life.So now on to the blog:
I am at the point of total frustration with so many people on my space that I am very leery of posting on blogs now for fear of what I may say and what kind of words may just come out of my mouth.People are deleting friends that they have been friends with for ages just because they don't agree with them…People are whining, bitching, crying, and complaining about who the front runner is and who has dropped out. They are saying that they are not going to vote, or they are going to vote democratic, or they are going to write in someone else…Of those three choices the third is the least offensive to me because at least you are voting but it doesn't help to get a republican in the White House which seems to be what all these people are complaining about.
My Dad told me many, many years ago that if I didn't vote in the election I had NO RIGHT to complain about what was going on so I say to all of you."Either put up or shut up!""Either make sure that you DO vote in the coming election for the Republican Presidential nominee or your primary if it hasn't happened yet or don't let me hear you complaining about anything!"
Let the countdown begin…I have 158….What will it be tomorrow?
