Sterling solitude of silence,
Straining sails of solid seas,
Breeze in the bustling business,
King of cradling knees,
Feel of a floundering feather,
Your kiss of gracious sleep,
Eyes of stars and mystics,
Glimmer of a glinting god,
Playing for the rest of relief.

Of loss and envy,
Of hate and greed,
An untapped motivation,
A seed of strength,
Prequel to courage,
And serenade to love,
The grip of control,
Resonance of responsibility,
The fiercest hold,
From generations past,
Survival of the fittest,
For a new age of being,
Host of change,
My fear.

MY GARDEN


I rake through the fallen leaves of my memories,
Trying to find the greener grass of growing ideas,
In my garden of creation,
I fertilize the seeds of reality,
The reaching roots of possibilities,
Though draught may come during my season,
I will fear no great loss,
For nature's cycle does comfort me,
And harvest will come inevitably,
Then I shall reap my destiny.

Brilliant fire,
Light,
Combustion,
You sing the celestial songs of enlightenment,
In your spherical splendor you are perfection in perception,
A little wonder to our world,
A blink of eternal natural selection,
The signature of time,
There is your imprint in me,
A connection to the bang of creation,
To creation's perpetual cycle,
Brilliant fire,
Volatility,
Light,
You left your imprint in me.
