Ok as you know that it became near by 8 months from the accident ... and I am now able to bike .... these images are from 10 days ago ... thanks for my friend "Dobri - Dobromir Hristov " who took these images ... and let me ride his bike...
It is my first biking from more than 8 months :-) ... and it was really nice feeling ..and I did fine ...the bike was not big as my old one ...but it was helpful as for the first time .... and when I bike not all my weight is on my legs and it help me to move my legs and have more muscles in action :-)
Just a small information ... I bike near by a 1 km and there was a small hill too that I slowly make it through :-)
Ok maybe you will ask why I want to bike ... ? and isn't dangerous to bike right now ? what about the pains I still have in my legs ???
Answers : Why biking now : I love biking ...and it give me a lot of more power ..health and I was biking almost everyday before I begin working in the movie The Tournament and of course before the accident ....
For the dangerous : Everything is dangerous ... specially in Sofia ...and with all these cars and not real drivers who have a drivers license ... even walking or standing in the bus station ... then if we speak about dangerous I must not go out side :-)
And for the pains that I still have in my legs : If we begin speaking about pain ...there will be pain forever ...specially when I understand that the metal I got in my left leg is really near by the bone and the end of my knee ...and it must be removed after maybe 3-4 months ...and as I understand from the doctors ..that every leg had been operated by different doctors and everyone of them used it's own way ... however what I understand too that the last operations for removing the metal inside my legs will be my own problem !!!!!!!
And that is what I will not accept ...because after maximum 6 months I must remove at least the left one ... because the metal is stopping me with the pain to move as I should be ... We will see ....
A new trailer has been released for the movie The Gene Generation ... and it is really nice ...and you can see better the Visual effects that had been made in it ....
Hope you like the CGI in the movie ... specially the last scene when the camera get out from the window and go up then go down ...it was the shot that I made just 3 days before I become a Lead Artist for the movie ... " of course just for the CGI city shots ... 105 shots " ...otherwise the other CGI stuff were made by my colleague and my first lead artist and real artist Dobri Georgiev ....
However ... I am glad that the movie is in it's last steps to come out I was waiting for it to be released before a year and half ... but it is a long story ...

I am still not sure how I must call such a blog Sport or intertaiment !!! and I wanted to write my opinions about some of the fighters and the fights in the UFC and for the Ultimate Fighter too ....
Howevere ... I will begin with the douchebag Jeremy May who just lost against Matt Brown ... and I am really glad for his loss because he was a real douchebag before the game ... and with all these speech and idiot stuff he did ... he got what he deserve a head kick by Matt Brown that showed him the stars ....
The truth that I don't believe that Matt Brown is a great fighter but with that I respect him for the way he win against the douchebag " Jeremy May "...
The winners of the challenge Ancient Times !!!

OK just 8 -10 hours after my previews blog about the Winning for the challenge they announced the winners ... two of them .....and they have the " Honorable Mentions" another 8 ...for their work ...

As you know I mentioned from the beginning that I am doing this 3D Babylon just for the respect of Babylon ...not for winning or having any awards ... and I got my awards from my family and my friends with their nice words and their love for the work I did ....
Now ...
Even here in my blog I don't want to mention any names or any finger points to any of the Artist who worked in the challenge ....but I am pointing to the admins who made the challenge and put the rules ... why ???
Because they made a challenge but even them selves they didn't work by the rules ... how is that ???
The rules they got are a lot but 2 others rules were really important :
* Submit your work in progress images in forum on a regular basis otherwise you will be disqualified.
* Participate in the community by critiquing other challenger's works in the respective threads.
did they disqualify anyone for these 2 rules ?????
Answer : NO ... They even let them win and get a " Honorable Mentions" !!!!
................................................. There were 31 final Images ... and 18 of them I am sure 100% that were not qualified to be sent to the hands of the judges .... and I wrote to the Admins in the challenge and I told them ....near by 10 days before the dead line of the challenge and I wrote for them :
I will disqualify my self by my self ...just do not put some of the images in front of the judges ...because they are the sponsors and they don't care about how the artist did the work and respect the rules ...all what they care is a nice image that they can use for commercial or a cover of a book or ...or ...or ....
and the answer from the CGArena's admins were : Shero don't worry you will not be disappointed in the end. Only the best image which follow the rules will win.
And they were right 85% of the winners were people who doesn't follow the rules but of course 100% of them were with nice images ...because as I said before they choose images for their commercials ...
and as I said before that I was not waiting for winning and the best prove for that ... is that I use a Lightwave not A cracked Maya ...and what I mean by Lightwave is .... the sponsors are from Maya ,3DMax and Z brush companies ...and even if I did the best image They will find a problem in it and make me the third ... because it is impossible that a company like them will give award to another company ;-) and I have nothing against that ... and it is their money ..their awards ... their product ... and I choose to work in Lightwave no matter what ...
Ok from another side as you see in the GIF image below :
that : 1- I didn't change the reference I used in the first day I begin the challenge ... 2- I got more object than anyone ells in the challenge ..no one get as much as I have objects in the image . 3- I made everything with a big level of details even if they be far or small ...except the humans "they were low ploys" because I was in the last days of the challenge and we can just see the back of them ...that is why I didn't make details in the face ... 4- I got the most comments that everyone in that challenge even the Admins were glad for my creative critics for the other works ... and the help I give by ideas and even I made some small tutorials too... ( 486 comments and critics ..wow ...I didn't know that I wrote that much for the good and for the benefit of this challenge and site !!!!!! ) 5- I even helped the CGArena to find some people who used old objects or 2D images or didn't work by the rules ...and they lie to everyone in the challenge ...
I just did my best for everyone ...
But they didn't listen to me in the end ...because I was right and they thought about their benefit to have a lot of images to put in front of the judges .....
It was kind of lie too ...because they didn't respect the rules .... too and if the admins in CGArena does not work by the rules they put by them selves ...then of course not all the winner are real ... too ;-)
at least 3 of these 10 who got their names and their images mentioned and won the award are really qualified but the other 7 are not and I sent my opinion and my point of view to the admins and they sent me back an answer but I am not going to read it ... because I don't need their opinion from now on ...
Now it is me and my own rules ..not their lies oh sorry their rules ...
and good by CGArena for you and for your Admins who can't find out who is using 2D images or not ... who can't have a real opinion on images ...who can't be in the level to qualify or disqualify people who work and who didn't work by their rules ... who promise things and they can't keep their promises... who didn't work by their rules... who gave all the images to the judges no matter if these images have the elements it need to be qualify to be in front of the judges ...who put rules but even them selves they didn't respect their rules ;-)
You tell me how can I respect and trust CGArena or that challenge again !!????? and if some one have a honor and self respect will go back to that site again !!!??? But with that I am always a man who can forgive ...and if that site and all the admins will not apologize to me "by E mail "and to all the other real artist who didn't win the awards or at least the " Honorable Mentions " then I will never go back to that site again and do anything for them anymore .... it is really shame to put names of some people and their images in a level that they don't deserve .... !!! it is just shame ...
I am going back to the site for the last time to delete my other stuff because I got another threads about my old works and about CGI The gene Generation movie that I want to let them all the information they need ...but as I see they don't deserve it ;-)
I just put a new set in Flickr for the photos I took in Bulgaria that show the beauty and the ugly sides of Bulgaria .... Hope you like it ...and there will be more and more photos soon :

As you remember before a week I put the final Image that I render for the Ancient Times challenge in CGArena ...and in the next 2 days they must announce the winner for :
The best Work in progress + The best Image
There will be just 2 winners and there is near by 31 Artists who finished their work .. from 160 Artist ...but the others didn't finished their work ...and everyone got their reason ....
However ...as you remember the challenge was for a 2 month work in progress about an Ancient Times work ...no matter a war or place or god or anything ells that have an Ancient Times in it ;-)
and I wanted to make Babylon ...not for winning but for the respect and the love I have for a part of my culture ...and I did it ...I finished the image ...of course it is not that perfect because I couldn't use radiosity in it ...and because all the other problems I had in that 2 months and exactly I worked 3 weeks for 4-5 hours a day ...
Now ...I am really not thinking about the awards ... because I got a lot and my awards were that everyone in my family liked and of course my friends too and I am really happy for that ;-) otherwise if I win the award that CGArena will give it will be nice too ...but we will see...
My point here is ...
1- from that 31 Artist who finished their concept ...I know that 18 of them have a 2D images and they were without contact with the other artists and they have no opinion or words for anthers work ...and some of them used old ready objects that they have before even the challenge begins like human body or face or some architects and all these are against the rules of the challenge ... and it mean there is just 13 Artist who really worked by the rules and have no 2D images ...
of course the back ground is normal to be 2D it is allowed ...but in foreground it is not allowed ...
2- The sponsors awards are mostly for Maya and 3D plugins and Z brush program... and I am using Lightwave that is not in that category and I am not so sure if the sponsors will choose another program like Lightwave hen they are mostly belong to Maya and Z brush and 3d max !!!
3- I think the sponsors care more about the image and how it looks not about how the artist made it or how the artist work by the rules .... and that is not good too ;-)
I think for these reasons I may will not win the challenge and it is normal for me but I hope that the winners will not be in that 18 persons who I know about their images ...and how they didn't work by the rules..

New X ray photos ..After 8 moths from the accident !!!

Today I took another X ray photos for my legs ...
and it looks fine ..this time and the doctor told me to begin using Bicycle and swimming and begin to run ... I am sure for the swimming and the Bicycle but for running still I am not sure because the pain in my feet and the muscles will not allow me for now ..but soon I will :-)
these images are almost after 8 months from the accident ....
Soon I will begin real training and swimming and of course biking :-)

Hi again ... friends ...
As you know I was preparing for the new apartment from long time and it is now 5 :17 in the morning and I still got some more work to do ... I didn't know that I have such a lot of stuffs to make it ready and put them in boxes specially DVDs :-)
However I will move to the new apartment today after 5 hours ... with my great friends Stanislav and Zario .... and the problem is that I have cable of Internet in the new apartment but I have no Internet ..and because of the holidays here in Bulgaria " from 1 May to 5 May " I may have no Internet for another 3-4 days ...that is why I hope you will not miss me so much :-) and do not worry I am fine ...and as soon I get the Internet I will be back and write for you again and again and again ....
and before that happen I am now introducing for you some of my 3D works in the movie The Gene Generation ... as an 3D artist and then a Leader Artist for the CGI city shots ... I made near by 95 % of all the camera animation 'movements " for the CGI city shots ... I made the first texturing for all the city just in 3 days and I send it for the director Pearry Teo and he liked and then we begin again to make it more detailed and more clear ... I modeled near by 8 Buildings ... and a lot of particles shots and environment stuff ..
And when I became a Lead Artist then I became the responsible for all the CGI city shots and my work become more and more and I was learning some new 3D artists how to work on the 3D programs and I was telling them what to do and what not and explain for them the best way ...and like this.... then let me stop talking about what I did in the movie and let's begin to see some images :-) ..
I made the images a bit with contrast because it was so dark and it is normal because it is not the real resolution hope you like it :

Ok now I need to sleep and wake up after 3 hours ... wow in the end I am moving to the new apartment ... I will send you photos of the apartment as soon as possible ...

For me B movie fans mean : 1- Beer movie fan 2- Bad movie fan I just got a discussion with one of the "B" movie fans in IMDb and I understand he like bad movie with low budget and he enjoy them specially when he drink a Beer in the time of watching the movie :-) " I think there is no need for more explanation " ;-) For more information all the movie that has been made in Bulgaria were and still are a B movies accept " Undisputed 2" and I hope " The Tournament " too ..we will see ;-) .... When I say : B movie I don't care about the budget of the movie ...I care about the quality and the movie making of it ..not how much money they spend on it ...
Remember what Charles Chaplin said : Give me a beautiful girl and a police man and a park and I will make you a movie .... !!! Oh .. is that mean that Charles Chaplin was a B movie maker ??? !!!!! Do I have to ask you this ?? ... I really feel so bad for that but at least to open the drunk eyes of some Beer movie fans ...that : Charles Chaplin was Not a B movie maker .
Then it is not all about Money .... It is about the Artists ... ...................................................................................................... And we got Z movies too ...!!!!! it is again a part of the B movies but I think then you will be watching the Bad movie with a Beer inside the Zoo ...near by D movie fans " D = Doneky "... !!!!!!! ;-) Hope you will enjoy this one too ;-)
