Melody’s Government Teacher wants scanned copies of Voter ID Cards?

My wife is taking a government class at Tyler Junior College and her teacher (Michael Mast) has given the students in her class an assignment. They must bring back 10 copies of voter id cards from fellow students? That is right. The students in this class must make copies of these voter id cards and bring them back to the teacher for a grade. This seems a bit fishy. He is a staunch Democrat and although he seems to be a good moral guy I think he is pretty determined when it comes to his party. I wonder what he is planning to do with these voter id cards? I may just be suspicious for no reason but if someone asked me for a copy of my voter ID card I would think they were crazy.
Here is the appeal from my wife on her myspace bulletin asking all her myspace friends to provide the needed card or application:
"Please, please, if you have your voter registration card or application for a voter registration card please scan and email it to me when you have a minute. You can block out any identification numbers (I will if you don't) for security purposes. I have to turn in 10 copies of voters cards for a homework grade in government. The teacher is trying to get us involved in recruiting others to vote. I'm not a big activist in politics and don't really see the point in pressuring others to vote. If they choose not to vote it's probably because they don't care or know what's going on, so for them to be just punching a ballot is probably not a good idea.
If you have a voter registration card please email it to me if possible.
I felt the baby move yesterday

My wife Melody said she felt the baby move and I tried to see if I could feel and it felt like he was possibly kicking. It was very distinct and really moved my hand a good amount. He did it a few more times and it was pretty stinking amazing. I am very excited about that baby boy in my wifes tummy. I can't wait to see him!

Hillary Cackling Like A Weirdo
My wife said, "the laugh sounds like a parot imitating a monkey."
The joke going on right now similar to Howard Deans "AAArgh!!!" last election is Hillary’s cackling. Hillary has got the funniest laugh and I would not be surprised if she is doing it after listening to her campaign people telling her to lighten things up on the interviews or something. I have been trying to make up my mind about who I like most for a rebublican presidential nominee. I think Ron Paul has some good ideas but he also has a lot of bad ones. Huckabee is a retarted Baptist minister who I think is a big fake and is pretty liberal in every area besides his belief in Jesus. Romney has some good conservative ideas and track record. Fred Thompson can really work the camera and I think he has the best likability factor which in the end unfortunately ends up being what gets people elected. Fred Thompson has some ok ideas and track record and I think he has a chance to beat whoever the Democratic nominee ends up being.
On another note I would like to make a comparison of Ron Paul and the Hale Bop Cult leader.
20 Weeks Preganant (Half Way Through)

My wife is now half way through her pregnancy and we got to go and get a 3rd sonogram a few days ago at the hospital (Mother Francis). The sonographer was able to get a pretty good picture of the baby. [[iframe]]d the face for those who have trouble spotting what things are in a sonogram like me.
We have a cool Christmas card that I think everyone will enjoy looking at as there are two beautiful people on it and by that I mean Muah and My lady. I wish I had a reindeer I could have been standing next to but there were none in Tyler for rent and they are kind of dangerous.
On a serious note be sure to remember what Jesus has done for you while your celebrating and be thankful.
We saw a funny video today of a kid melting down after opening a wii. It was crazy how histerical he got. The best part of it was it was real, a kid shows his true colors better then adults do which makes it really classic and funny. My 6 year old nephew is getting a wii for Christmas and will probably pass out.

Hillary And Her Presidential Eyebrows
Hillary Clinton or Hillary as she is now called has got the most presidential eyebrows I have seen in sometime. If this presidential race was decided based on eyebrows alone I believe Hillary would easily win. It's interesting but when women pluck their eyebrows do they do it so that the top of them appear straight across? To me I could be reading too much into the Hillary eyebrows but it makes it look like she has a more prominent protruding brow like a masculinized woman brow. Men have this naturally but maybe just maybe she wants to have that presidential forhead so she can look a little more presidential up on stage, on TV, debating, and if she gets her way beating out the rest of the male democrat's competing in the primaries. It's funny as she has been recently accused of running and hiding in her feminist language by accussing the male candidates of picking on her because she is a woman. Well Hillary I would have to agree, you look much more like a male then the next woman out there and one day you might even fill the shoes of a Janet Reno if you keep at it.
On A Side Note Regarding Hillary Not Tipping Waitress
Hillary's campaign rebuts the waitress who says she never received a tip after Hillary's entourage ate at her restaruant. Hillary says, they gave over $100 dollar tip to the waitress. The waitress responds back a couple days later.
"Esterday said "nobody got tipped that day," and NPR should have checked with the Clinton campaign before the story aired to see if any tip was left and how it was done. We regret that this was not done. On Thursday, Esterday was sticking by her story.
"Why would I lie about not getting a tip?" she told NPR. She also maintained that her co-workers at the restaurant had not received tips."
The truth is actually that the campaign manager paid for everyone and did give a $100 tip. Hillary was sitting at her own table and did not lay a tip down on that table because the campaign manager handled it for everyone.
Hillary still needs some major help but she didn't stiff anyone.
My 95 Saturn Good Car With Problems

95 Saturn SC1
I have this 95 Saturn SC1 that I have owned for about 7 years. This car is great! I have literally traveled up and down the United States in it about 4 times. I have grown so attached to it that I had a new engine put in it so I can drive it another 7 years or so. The problem is that the car is very ugly. It is a black car but has a silver panel where it was wrecked into that just obviously doesn't match the rest of the car. It also has a broken windshield that has so many cracks but luckily no cracks where I need to see. The windshield would cost $500 to replace because Saturn no longer manufacturers these windshields and they are just really hard to come by. When you stop the car it moves to the left a little bit like both brakes are not evenly stopping the car. I have it at Butler Brake and alignment. They tried fixing it once already and thought they had. I came by and got in and drove off and realized the issue was still there. I would have thought that they would have verified they actually fixed the problem? I drive it back the next day after getting the a/c leak fixed by Climatic Air in downtown Tyler off Erwin St. If you need your a/c fixed I recommend this place (Climatic Air) They are a long time fixture in Tyler and will not cheat or overcharge you. I have only had good experiences with them and I am not one of their buddies. I go there so infrequently that they wouldn;t recognize me so I was basically a stranger and they did a great job. The air is very cold and I rarely have a car that has the a/c cold enough to where I like it.
What's The Verdict On Butler Brake?
The verdict is still out on Butler brake and alignment. They have had it for 3 days now and I haven't gotten a call to come pick it up yet? I will call them tomorrow to see what's up. I have already paid $67 to have them attempt a fix that did not turn out so we will see if they fix it right this time. I will be sure and provide a good review if they succesfully fix my brake problem. I doubt it could be that complicated. When I get my car back though I am going to install a laptop holder like the police have in their cars. I want it so I can drive around town while I am at work. There have been many occasions when I needed to get out of the house for an errand but just couldn't get away from my desk. Hopefully with the laptop setup I can have my trusty cell phone and laptop right in front of me. I have this Cingular air card on the laptop that allows me access to the internet and my email no matter where in the city I am and this is how I will be able to continue working while driving around town running errands or when I am out at my little contrsuction house project in Bullard.
Why Am I Writing So Long
Why did I write about my car and for so long? I needed a blog with a lot of content and so I just wrote and wrote until I had something substantial to submit to the myspace blogosphere. It isn't worthy material but for the guy out there needing to know about where to go in Tyler for a good mechanic it may come in handy as well as for the Saturn enthusiasts which there can't be too many of those.
Butler Alignment and Brake
Butler Brake and Alignment said they were not completely sure but they think it might be the master cylinder. I told them this had been replaced a few months ago and they were a little surprised. I told them I would find the receipt to the practically new master cylinder and they can try and fix the car with a new one. I am not sure if this will fix it since it is pretty new. Sure it could be defective but I would imagine that the probability is that it is not. I have paid them $67 for a brake job that did nothing. He said he will apply half of that to any new attempts to fix the brakes. If they don't fix it after this master cylinder idea I will take it next door to A and B Alignment which is their competitor and see what they can do.
Update On Brake Repair
Butler Alignment and Brake called me back to say they had put the brand new Brake Master Cylinder in the car but that it didn't fix the problem. They didn't charge me this time around. Because the master cylinder currently in the car had a lifetime warranty from Autozone I was able to get my money back for the one I brought by for Butler to put in. Butler said they had no other ideas on how to fix the problem and gave up on it. Fortunately they did not charge me for the 2nd attempt at fixing the issue. I told them I would be taking it to their competition which is A and B just down the road. They said, "o.k." I took it over to A and B and they had it ready the following day after replacing a brake hose. There was a little troubleshooting involved and the charge ended up being $240. So if I had to recommend a Brake shop I would go with A and B in Tyler Texas. My family had been using Butler for years and years but they just don't cut it when it comes to troubleshooting issues.
Baby Sonogram Pictures | 10 Weeks 1 day old

These are some sonogram pictures of our baby at 10 weeks 1 day along. The baby is still due on my birthday June 2 and has a heart rate of 171. The heart is a hint that it might be a girl. Usually a fast heart rate is an indication that it might be a girl. If so, Melody's sister's baby Evangeline will have a playmate close to her same age. That will be pretty cute to have two girl cousins so close together in age. We will see, I would be happy with a girl or boy.
