PHISHERS, HACKERS and SPAMMERS have started to spread
During the past two weeks, PHISHERS, HACKERS and SPAMMERS have started to spread like wild-fire here on Myspace.
It does appear that many people here on Myspace do not know how a HACKER operates.
He/she/they burrows onto your page and generally within a week, if you do not remove him/her, kindly say goodbye to your page.
There are 5 major SPAMMERS operating here probably more.
If you receive a comment from a friend with any of these comments, kindly DELITE the comment, INFORM the friend who "sent" it because it's the spammer who has send it, not your friend, immediately change your password.
The comment is there for a reason.It is there to monitor your account.
If you have it sitting there for more than 2 to 3 days, BYE BYE.Your page will be taken over...Simple.
No ifs or buts, the HACKER who sent you that SPAM, will take over your page and use your page to send even more SPAM.
These are the 6 brutal SPAMS that are currently circulating.
1. BUD JOINT.COM.- you will receive a comment with a bud of marijuana.
2. BUD HOOK UP
3. [MACY- he is rampant at the moment.]
4. RINGTONES-they come in many guises, but Photobucket or any of the other photo-hosting services, do not have RINGTONES in their stock of images.
5. GUCCI-telling you what a lovely bag the friend has just bought.
6. NOTE THIS ONE; I see it all the time - STALKER-TRACK-this one is the new boy on the block, as it is fooling people because it carries a picture of TOM. That way people will believe that TOM is somehow endorsing and supporting the device.
If you haven't already noticed there has been a flood of fake add requests from Tom @ Myspace. These are not real, they are fakes!!! Do not accept these profiles MARK AS SPAM!!!
OTHERS TO WATCH AND REMOVE
1. A message read like this: "A girl/guy saw your picture and thinks you are cute, contact her/him as....." LINK
2. "Wonder what my brother think when he see this picture of him..."LINK
3. "lol have you seen these pics yet? im suprised her myspace didnt get deleted yet for posting pictures like that."...LINK
4. "OMG u gotta try this website. it asks you a few questions and somehow it tells you everybody from our school who has a crush on you. no clue how it works but i just tried it and it really did lol."...LINK
5."can't believe she put pics like that on her myspace.. talk about slut.."...LINK
6. " wonder what your brother think when he sees this pic of you?"...LINK

9. Photobucket ads without picture(s) only talking about UPGRADING.
THEY ARE ALL THERE TO TRACK YOUR PAGE PERIOD.
REMOVE THEM AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY.
DELETE THE FRIEND THAT SENT IT UNTIL THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR PASSWORD.
I cannot stress the simply point that you MUST change your password every other day.
This is IMPORTANT!!!! DONT CLICK THE COMMENT LINK IF YOU SEE LINKS IN YOUR OR YOUR FRIENDS COMMENTS. What happens is once you click the link it captures your cookies on your machine. Once it does that the virus wait for you to log into your account, photobucket account and so on and will delite all of your images and videos in your account or it will post porno, nude photos on your entire friends list...Your account got pished and are cloning your page...our profiles.This virus sending person copies our pictures & creates a profile similar to ours. Then sends scrap, spam or garbage to our contacts or friends in Hi5 and other profile sites. Insulting them…or asking them personal information….and you also get a nice trojan horse in your computer.Why this trojan is so bad? Well it kicks out your own virusprotection at first and its not easy to take away. And who wants to be without protection these days???:
If you are generally online everyday, the HACKER finds it difficult to penetrate your account.
The accounts that are PHISHED are generally accounts that have not been activated over a 4-5 day period.
It is as if a burglar who watches your home.
If you are in he will give you a miss and will then find a vacant house to do his dastardly deed.
Simple.
Check your comments before allowing them unto your page.
Myspace is a fun place, but as in life others are their to thwart your enjoyment.
Do not allow that to happen.
IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK AT PHISHERS, HACKERS and SPAMMERS.
I have had to DELETE some friends, because:
1. They haven't done anything.
2. They don't believe it with happen to them.
3. They only do PART of the above steps; all steps MUST be done.
4. They are idle and don't check they page often and have their comment box full of spam.
5. They don't care.
I didn't want to delete them; however, it is spelled out for everyone, and everyone needs to follow this advice. Since I posted this about a week ago, I have received approximately 28 of the hacker comments and from friends I know well too. Please, don't wait for me or someone else to contact to take action; DO IT YOURSELF DAILY!
