On The Road: Miri International Jazz Festival - Miri, Malaysia (May 7 - May 11)

Hey everyone,
This past May, I was fortunate enough to play at the Miri International Jazz Festival in Malaysia with the Charmaine Clamor Group. What's also great is that my fiancee Michelle also came along for the 20+ hour trip as our tour manager. It was an amazing experience being able to share my music in that part of the world. But the best part was eating great Malaysian food 3 times a day. The staff took great care of us and I hope to come back to play there in the near future.

Hey everyone,
Earlier this month, I was fortunate enough to play as the headliner for the Windy City Uke Festival, the largest ukulele festival in the midwest. It was an amazing three full days of workshops, concerts, buying/selling, and just meeting and hanging with a lot of really great people. Special thanks goes out to George Klingelhofer, Terry Truhart, and Chris Carlson (videotaping) for putting this whole festival together. Hope to see you there again in 2009!
