Club Rascal set cancelled

Hi All

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the set we were going to play at this Saturdays Club Rascal at Club 8.

The guys at Club 8 have been getting a hard time regarding licensing laws and unfortunately have to cancel all the live music. Therefore neither Absinthe or The Stutters will be able to play as planned.

However please make sure you still go along on Saturday night to celebrate the 2nd Birthday of Club Rascal as it promises to be a fantastic night.

You may not see us play but you can still share a beer with us ;-)

Fear not as your Absinthe cravings can still be satisfied on July 9th at Amsterdams Bitterzoet - we promise to rock you doubly hard to make up for this weekend.

Melkweg & Crea Theatre gig pics

Hey all

What a few weeks its been. Go check out our photos page for what's been hapening in glorious technicolour!

We totally rocked the Melkweg and really couldn't have done so without all you guys - the crowd response was phenomenal and we all felt like true rockstars!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Some of you may also have seen our Acoustic set at the Crea Theatre and witnessed something very special. Acoustics, Banjos, Bongos, Harmonicas - but in full on Absinthe Rock and Roll style - yes it rocked....but with a big yeeehaaa on top.

So the coming weeks are looking like they are gonna be very good indeed - we have our appearance at Club Rascal on June 16th (print out the flyer on our homepage and you'll get in before 11 for free!!!), we've been asked to play our first live set in Amsterdams wonderful Bitterzoet on July 9th and we'll also be announcing some more acoustic shenanigans very soon.

Absinthe to play Club Rascal

We're extremely pleased to announce that Absinthe have been asked to play at next months Club Rascal along with our good friends The Stutters on Saturday June 16th.

This is most good as not only is Club Rascal the biggest and best Indie Disco in mainland Europe, but it is also going to the craziest one yet as it is to celebrate their 2nd Birthday. Any music lover worth their salt in Amsterdam will not want to miss out - so get there early to beat the queues as it's gonna be a riot.

Last week the lovely people down at FM 100% NL asked us along to be the guests on the Wendy and Chantal show! They came and saw us win the semi-final of the Winston Pop Prize and thought "we gotta get them boys in the studio"
