Hi Dunderheads! I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I am working on my "new Mom" blog between feedings and naps and will try to post it soon. And I wanted to thank you all for your sweet messages. Your support when it comes to my career and my life are so appreciated. I am in the process of going through the lovely letters and packages you all have sent me. Thank you for your kindness.
I am going to venture out of the house this weekend and perform at the I.O. West Improv Festival Saturday night along with Creed and Oscar (www.iowest.com) in the Armando Show, and Sunday I'll be attending the TV Land Awards with several members of the cast. I definitely do not feel red carpet ready. The ol' body has not gotten back to normal but hopefully I can find some dress that hides what I need hiding. ;) And I can't wait to tell you all about little Isabel! She is amazing.
Good morning Dunderheads. I wanted to pass on some information to you guys and in the process help out one of my favorite Office folks. Kim (who does our hair on the show) is selling her car that has been featured on our show. It was the Xterra that was in last night's episode. She is including some Office memorabilia as well. For more info check out: officetally.com or you can go directly to her ebay site:
Hi Dunderheads! How is everyone? We are having a heatwave in LA. I'm too pregnant for this heat! My hands and feet look ridiculous. My new favorite thing is the chocolate sundae at McDonalds. That's good for the baby, right? :/ So folks I'm fastly approaching my due date and I thought I'd drop ya'll a line to say hi before the wonderful craziness of having a a newborn takes over my life.
New Episode:
Did I Stutter is our next episode. It has a great Stanley story line. That is one thing I love about our show is how the writers find these great ways to showcase the ensemble. Leslie does an awesome job in this episode. And didn't ya'll love Brian in last week's episode?! When he teared up a little in his talking head....man! I think even Angela Martin would have been rooting for Kevin in that moment. ;)
My Nesting Phase:
I think I'm finally ready for this baby. Wait, let me say as ready as I can be. I am so excited to meet her! I finally got to see her little face in a 3-d sonogram picture. I'm sure she is going to look different but it was so neat to get a glimpse of her! The nursery is done and it turned out so dang cute. I have a very modest house that was built in 1953 so the rooms are kinda tiny but it makes for such a cozy, comfy baby's room.
Baby Giveaway:
I feel so blessed by people's generosity to me during my pregnancy. I have been saving different items so that I can give back somehow. I want to do a "baby" give away for expecting Momma Dunderheads. Last year I did an "Office" prop giveaway just for our diehards fans and this would be similar to that. I'm still working out the details but wanted to give ya'll a heads up. It will probably be later on in the summer.
A little tv and the Internet:
Since we are finished shooting Season 4, I have had some time to put my feet up! I've been catching up on my tivo list and surfing the web. Is anyone else addicted to Top Chef?! Maybe it's because I'm preggers and constantly hungry but man I love this show. And okay I know I'm going to get flack for this but I love CBS Sunday Morning. Look, if you are up really early because you've given up on sleep (seriously sleep is a joke at this point for me) then it's a nice way to start your day on Sunday. And it can help you bond with your Grandmother because I'm pretty sure that is their target audience. :) And of course I have my standards you know Lost etc... What the heck is up with Benjamin Linus?! I want more information please!
I am loving this vidblog series on vimeo.com called Project Pedals. Here's the link: http://www.vimeo.com/pedal. I love any kind of vidblogs about travel or road trips. Growing up overseas, I did a lot of traveling as a child and now I still get itchy feet to go somewhere new. Jenna and I joke around that we want to do an "Oprah/Gail" version of a car road trip. One place I've always wanted to go is Italy. I was there for about 30 minutes in college. Just passing through and I've always wanted to go back. In that 30 minutes I met a gorgeous guy. He asked me my name and I said, Angela. He smiled and pointed to his chest and said, "Angelo". I was such a dork. I think I blushed and snorted and laughed and said out loud, "Wow! You're Angelo and I'm Angela!" Yeah. I wasn't so smooth with the fellas. :/ And then I said goodbye and got on a bus with a huge group of other college dorks and never saw hottie Angelo again. On the same site check out Questa la Sicilia. http://www.vimeo.com/900524. There are also some cool vidblogs of Indonesia on Vimeo. I get homesick for where I grew up and I love to check out people's vidblogs of recent trips to Jakarta or Bali. I was watching one today of a JIS (that is the school I attended) school trip to Bali. I haven't been back to Indonesia in almost 8 years and I really would love to go and bring a camera along. I think with the state of the world and terrorism that there is a lot of misconceptions about the people of Indonesia. Maybe I could show the beautiful place that I grew up in and shed some light on the people of that country. The folks over at nbc.com have put some new stuff up on my page. http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/angela/. It's baby central! Lots of the cast being cute about my lil' one. I was thinking the other day what an interesting childhood she is going to have growing up around our cast all the time! I mean exposure to Uncle Rainn alone could forever change a child's life! ;) Oh and I'd like to give a little shout out to Jennie from Officetally.com (the best fansite ever). Jennie, it was so good to see you. Thanks for all you do for our show!
Inquiring minds:
Some of you have asked if I am going to do a magazine photo shoot of me, the baby or the nursery. I am still on the fence about this. It's just such a tough decision for me. I'd love to share photos of my nursery and etc.. with all of you. That is just the girl in me who loves crafts and decorating and wants to gab away with you guys about every little detail. And of course my sisters think a magazine with her and I in it would be such a neat thing for her to have someday and too cute for my baby scrapbook. But there is part of me that wants to protect her from the world. It all depends on how comfortable I feel once she is here and safely in my arms. I'll keep you posted!
And a big thank you:
To the fans of The Office! Thank you thank you for your sweet messages and comments. Thank you for your sweet cards and letters. And for those of you who have sent me gifts, I am writing thank you cards to you this week! Thank you so much for your well wishes and support.
Have a great week! And oh my gosh I have to say that the Season Finale of The Office this year will NOT disappoint. We finished shooting it last week and my head is still spinning from what the writers came up with. Holy cow!
Hey Dunderheads - just a quick blog to say hi. I'll post a bigger behind the scenes blog with pictures soon. I'm so excited to see the episode tonight, and I can't wait for ya'll to see it, too! The cast is getting together tonight to watch it. There's an excitement in the air tonight for us similar to that in our first season.
A quick little heads-up: nbc.com will be posting the first series of my baby tips from the cast and crew of The Office on my page:
I believe tonight's clips are Steve's and John's, with more to follow (by the way, ladies, John has never looked dreamier than in Leatherheads). The cast and crew were so cute and sweet to do these clips for me, and I'm excited because I will always have them for my little girl.
More internet news - check out Ed Helms on funnyordie.com:
And for those of you who have asked...yes, I'm about to pop. I feel like all I do is waddle around. Some of the cast and crew think I should name the baby Dunder. Of course, I could always go with Mifflin and call her "Miffy." :/
Good morning myspacers. Happy Good Friday to those who celebrate Easter. My Mom used to buy or make my sisters and I a new Easter outfit every year. I can’t wait to do that for my little one! (But yeah I won’t be sewing. My Mom bought me a sewing machine and so far we are at war with one another and it’s winning.) It’s 11am. I have the day off. I am in sweats (big surprise) and a hoodie (even bigger surprise) eating a little fruit in my office/guest bedroom (you know, the classic room in every house that is a catch all). Folks, I am about ready to hang up the sweatpants! Seriously! Although it’s supposed to be warm here this weekend. Pregnant shorts? Do they make those? I think I am ready for mu-mus. :/ How are you guys? Where are you and what are you up to?
So we are back to work! I am loving every second of it. We were all so happy to see each other. There were lots of hugs and laughter. When we stopped working around Halloween, I was not showing yet. So you can imagine everyone’s surprise at how big my belly has gotten over the past few months. I had to sit next to one male cast member three days in a row, and he got to feel her kick. It got to where we’d sit down, and he’d just put his hand on my belly. It was too cute. (I won’t mention any names because I don’t want to spoil anything about this first episode back! It’s too good!) Oh and everyone is wondering if I’ll go into labor on set! Ha! I already have a plan just in case. Either Paul or Jenna will drive me to the hospital to meet up with my hubby. But hopefully we’ll make it to May, and she’ll be on time and we’ll be done working. Can you imagine Rainn’s jokes about my water breaking during a scene? No thanks.
And ladies out there...I have a question for you. Around 8 months preggers, did you lose your edit button? I am just telling it like it is lately. It’s a little scary. Oh and my southern accent is in full swing. It’s like my body and mind have to focus on too much. Mini spoiler warning.....for example...
I had to say "sex addict" in a scene and I couldn’t do it. I kept saying (with a southern accent) "sex attic." The camera guys teased me all day about it. ;)
Next week I’ll be taking my video camera that nbc.com gave me to set! I am going to try to film a little vlog of all of us back at work. And I posted a new pic of Rainn and I from last week.
Alright folks, I am in major nesting mode so I am off to organize my kitchen! Fun and exciting stuff. Thanks for all of your awesome comments. I can’t wait for ya’ll to see our new episode on April 10th. We are all going to watch it together. ;)
Hey guys, it's Angela and I am going to be on The Late Late Show on Monday now. Craig has a very bad case of the flu and didn't want to get me sick. So we decided to push my visit until next week when hopefully he'll feel better. What a sweet guy---looking out for preggers! I'll have a new blog with back to work tidbits soon! And I think Nbc.com will be adding new vid clips to my page tomorrow. ;)
Hope you have a great Valentine's. I'm having some friends over and we all have to have make a themed entree. My friend Carrie is making "Make-Out Mac-n-Cheese" (Martha Stewart's recipe.) I am making a super sexy salad. Yes we are dorks.
It's 11:17pm. I am sitting at my dining room table in my favorite outfit...my sweats/hoodie combo (big surprise). I know, riveting stuff here. It's way past my bedtime but I wanted to let you guys know that nbc.com has made a page for all of my adventures.
It's got two new clips from my trip to NYC with Jenna. Now remember in these first two clips it's VERY early in the morning. And yes that means we might seem a little loopy. ;) The folks over at nbc.com will continue to post new clips from our trip over the next few weeks.
Oh and I'm going to Babies-R-Us this weekend! I'm soooo excited. (Is that a little sad?)
Hey there everybody! How are you guys? Sorry that I haven't blogged in awhile. It's weird because we have all of this time off but I feel more busy now than when I am working! Jenna and I just got back from NYC! Details in a few. Okay so it's Monday, 11-ish am and I am in my sweats (a pregnant lady's best friend) sitting at my kitchen island eating a PB&J and writing you guys. Where are you and what are you doing?! ;)
My lil' peanut: I read Jenna's blog and she is right my belly is ridiculous! When we went to Target, I was thrilled to see that they have really long tank tops and t-shirts. I stocked up. I need something to cover my bump! I don't think I'll be sporting the half shirt look during my pregnancy. :/ I texted Jenna my new weight (106!) from my last doctor's appointment and she texted me back, "I think I'm going to kill myself." Lol. And yes I am having a little girl. I couldn't be more excited! I hadn't bought any baby clothes but when we were at Target I had a total melt down in the baby section. The little girl clothes are so cute! I had to stock up. And I'm posting some new pics from my recent trips etc... Fyi doing the red carpet pregnant is crazy. The photographers yell, "Show your belly, point at your belly, have Jenna hug your belly!" And on and on!
Ms. Jenna: I want to take a second to tell you guys what a great friend she has been to me over the years. I'll never forget while we were shooting Season One (just six episodes), we were walking arm in arm through the parking lot laughing. Steve passed us and just grinned. He said, "You know no matter what happens with this show....you guys got a real gift. You got this friendship." Four years later and I know how right he was.
New York: Jenna and I just got back from NYC! She was asked to be a part of The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. (The Red Dress is the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness and was designed to build awareness that women are at risk for heart disease, and motivate them to take action to reduce their risk.) I joked and said it was our "Sex in the City" trip. She was Carrie on the catwalk and I was pregnant Miranda in the front row! Nbc.com tagged along with us and we made a little video diary of our trip. (Ya'll should know that I emailed Greg Daniels and asked him if it was okay to do stuff for nbc.com and he said absolutely. I am in full support of the writers and their strike and I wanted to be respectful of that. He said that he thought as long as we aren't writing anything---just ad libbing---then he thought it was fine. We still need to support our fans and our show. And that this video diary might be a nice way to reach out to our fans during this strike.) So with his blessing, we filmed our trip. I think the clips will be up on nbc.com by the end of the week. We are just being silly, chatty girls. Like, I told the story of the morning I told Jenna I was pregnant. By the way, Jenna has the best reactions of anyone. If you have big news to tell someone and want a great response....tell Jenna!
SAG Awards: I couldn't believe we won again! It was a total surprise. I felt like it was 30 Rock's year. We hadn't all been together in so long. We were all a little giddy just to hang out as a group. We were the rowdy ones on the red carpet. And most of them hadn't seen my belly. Here are some of my favorite moments....I turned around and there was John! My sweet J.K.! He gave me a big ol' bear hug and Rainn walked right up to me and put his hands on my belly and smiled. Mindy was a doll and told me that I was a "hot" pregnant lady. Phyllis brought her Mom as her date and she was so adorable and proud of Phyllis. It just warmed my heart to see them together. Oscar kept acting surprised by my belly. Like it was sneaking up on him and he'd jump. Creed was so tender. A whole other side of him we never see on screen. He told me how much it meant to him being a Dad. And he brought his son as his date. Kate kept making sure I was okay and asking if I needed anything. Backstage when they asked us about Brad and Angelina baby rumours, B.J. grabbed me and said, "Here's Angelina Kinsey she can speak for herself." Ed told me that I was glowing and Melora made sure that I got the comfy chair backstage. Brian and I have the same pr folks so worked the red carpet together. He has such a sweet spirit about him. So gentle and he always takes good care of me and this time it was no different. He parted the crowd for me and made sure I didn't get shoved around. At the after party, Leslie let me eat off of his desert plate. And it was so fun to share the night with Paul. He is like a brother to me. I didn't see Steve until were doing press afterwards and he just beamed at me. He said, "Oh Ange look at you!" Jenna was of course my gal pal. She let me borrow her black wrap to keep warm and when the night was all done she texted me the sweetest message about how cool it was that my little girl was up on stage with us--sharing in that moment. Now, I know I'm hormonal and all kinds of sappy right now but I wanted to share those little moments with you to show you guys what a special group of folks I work with. They truly are family to me.
Last Comic Standing: Oscar and I were asked to judge the Los Angeles auditions and Brian and Kate are judging the Minneapolis auditions. I think they are having two new judges for every city. It was an interesting experience for Oscar and I. We've known each other for 9 years and we have performed together in several shows before The Office came along. I've performed improv and sketch for years and I wrote a one woman show and Oscar has done similar things on his own. But Standup is a whole different animal. I tried doing it a few years back and it is NOT easy. I have great respect for what these guys and gals do. You really have to put yourself out there. We saw hundreds of people. And in my pregnant state, I just wanted everyone to make it to the semi-finals. Nbc.com stopped by and filmed Oscar and I and some behind the scenes stuff. I don't know if you saw the footage of Oscar and I watching our Deal or No Deal episode together but needless to say the two of us have a good time. His new thing is that he says in like 15 years we should have a talk show together. A Regis and Kelly type of thing. Can ya'll imagine?! He'd drive me nuts but in a good way. :)
Tonight: Fyi Dunderheads....Kate Flannery, Ed Helms and myself will be performing tonight at I.O.West in Hollywood. The show starts at 9pm. For more details check out iowest.com. Here is an overview....

Alrighty folks....I hope ya'll are well. I hear good things about the strike coming to a close. Fingers crossed! I want to thank you all for supporting us during this time. Special thanks to Jennie over at Officetally for keeping our online community informed!
Just a quick hello to my Dunderhead buddies. I am getting caught up from the holidays and have lots of stories for you guys. This is just a little note to say hi and to tell you that a nice big blog is on the way!
