I See
Current mood: artistic
Category: Writing and Poetry
I see a man in need When I look at you A man full of grief Whose good times are few
I see a man in pain Where you stand A man without fame Or fortune at hand
I see a man who tries To better his life A man who's eyes Have seen plenty of strife
I see a man who loves But no one loves him A man sad because Life can be so grim
I see a man with hope A man with dreams A man that mopes A man that screams A man that's glad A man with heart A man that's mad A man that's smart A man who's free A man with fear Those I see When I look in the mirror

Past
Current mood: content
Category: Writing and Poetry
There is a lake so clear It seems as if it's glass And like a crystal ball It sees into the past
It shows things long forgotten Things buried deep in the mind Things once believed buried Things thought left behind
The joy of true love had The pain of love lost Happiness and sadness And all the tears doffed
It can show you mistakes That can be learned from It can be like a teacher Telling you what went wrong
But you can't stay there forever Soon you'll have to move along Because you can't live in the past Fore the future moves on

The Six O'Clock News
Current mood: disappointed
Category: Writing and Poetry
Tonight on the six o-clock news Another teen with a short fuse Has pulled a pistol on his friend And pulled the trigger again
Tonight on the six o-clock news Another driver filled with booze Has crossed that yellow line Killing a family of five
Tonight on the six o-clock news A boy's assaulted for his shoes Beaten beyond life For a pair of Nike's
Tonight on the six o-clock news Another child has been abused Sickly molested By parents supposed to protect him
Tonight on the six O-clock news Another woman is bruised Viciously raped By the man called her date
Tonight on the six o-clock news Another gun has been used To car jack a Brome Killing a father on his way home
Another someone sighs Another someone cries Another someone lies Another someone dies
Another someone's injured Another someone's burned Another someone's hurt What's wrong with this world
Isn't there any good news

The Feather's Life
Current mood: drained
Category: Writing and Poetry
Lifted on the wind is a feather Floating on the breath of the breeze Going ever higher and higher Not knowing where the road would lead
The feather never shows resistance And yet is reluctant to leave But knows each time there's a wind Twill be carried away on that breeze
It's just a hard fact of life That it should be this way There's no stopping the cycle No means by which it can stay
So twill fly away, fly away Forever destined to roam Knowing thanks to a gentle breeze It can never find a home

What Happened to freedom Of choice!!!!
Current mood: aggravated
Why am I forced to wear MY seatbelt, in MY car even though I don't want to? It's the law Right? Right. But who would I be hurting if I didn't wear it and wreacked? Me. That's right so what does it matter if I want to endanger my life I have that right, just like the guy who decides to try para-jumping for the first time, or the guy going down on the next bungie jump. I could see if it was endanger others, but it is not. So if I am living in a free country, a country of freedom of choice why should I be forced to wear one? Anyone?

Suv
Current mood: annoyed
Why do people driving these massive Suv's feel the need to slam on brakes and crawl over railroad crossings? I mean the Suv is designed for off road use, Hell in the commercials they're driving them up mountains, over rocks, and through rivers. I somehow doubt that a single set of slightly bumpy railroad tracks is going to F*** it up. Drive like you got a pair or get off the road grandma! Lol. Sorry had to vent to avoid a serious case of road rage.
