The results are out, and we didn't get to go to Hong Kong. O vell. But we hope those who get to go will have fun there!

Meanwhile, do drop by Groove Junction tomorrow nite if you're free. We'll be covering a few songs, including Just Like Heaven, a P Ramlee song, and Jamie Lidell. Woooot!

Also we'll be previewing a new song, which someone calls "a sad song in a happy way".

Did we mention we have the best bang manager in the entire galaxy???

Oh and yesterday we wrote 2 songs, "The Facebook Song" and "Baby Baby Baby". Can't wait to get them recorded and share it with you guys on Youtube. hehe.

Thanks to the support of the bloggers out there, we've been shortlisted to go to Hong Kong for a gig by Nokia! Not sure when will results be out (it might be by Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th), but we're estatic to be even selected for it!!! (this definitely deserves a rolling head smiley hehe)

Please support us at our Nokia IAC profile, and our video on Nokia IAC, because the video might help determine which band/singer gets to go to Hong Kong.

Nokia IAC @ Zouk!

Hi people!

We've finally had time to update our Myspace blog. Man, Myspace has changed quite a bit, eh? Not really sure why my login page keeps going to the Spanish version though... hmmm. The only Spanish I know is "Mi Casa Su Casa" (my place or your place, corny shit eh hahahahah).

Anyway, a big thanks to the folks at Nokia for being such fantastic hosts at the Nokia IAC gig at Zouk on May 10th. Alaling & The Kaya Koks played one of our best sets there!



The Kaya Koks had 2 makeshift Koks that day... Sen Kiat of Superbar and Zach Z2 of Lurks! (but u can't see him in this pic)

It was sunny, Beng was sweating like mad (totally drenched wei), but it was fun! Thanks to the crowd's support, which helped us ease up and enjoy ourselves too!

And thanks to Eleanor and Yulius (and of course our lovely Eevon) for having us on your beautiful night!! It was a very sweet cozy wedding dinner (with yummy sausages) at Jarrod and Rawlins.

The happy couple runs Marmalade Cafe, where the fruit juices are so yummy and not watered down, I wish I could have them 6 days a week. The other 1 day would be for some silly drink like Ribena. Which I call silly coz apparently they content no Vitamin C. Like, what the heck right. But I still love it. Hehehh.

Btw they whip up a really yummy country beef stew too at Marmalade. Mocha choca latta ja ja!
