Ali Plays September Catchup
Current mood: blessed
Category: News and Politics
My MySpace family - we need to catch up.
So I didn't get to blog about Convention (September 1-4), my birthday (September 3), Johnny Cash's fifth year since passing (September 12), and of course remembering America's great sacrifice (September 11).
It's a fabulous time to be an American. Things are moving fast fast fast.
I myself enjoy the campaign and let's give my man, John McCain a round of applause. I've been waiting a long time to say 'I told ya so,' but come on? Where would any other Republican be running in the polls?
We have a real chance at winning this thing, and possibly a Reagan close-out. Click here for my latest map: here.
Also have you checked out McCainSpace.com? The campaign worked really hard on it and it's a wonderful way to connect with other Americans.
And how awesome is Sarah Palin? I've had the pleasure of being up close for her two major appearances. She's everything we want in the movement.
And you've checked out TalkStraight.org right? You must! We're keeping Barack-O honest.
There's an economic loom ahead of us, so we may get a push back in the polls in states we need to be polling ahead to curve Obama's ACORN fraudulent registration drives. I need you to keep your faith. McCain is tested and can be trusted with your public support. Rally loudly around him in these troubling times and pray that Americans will vote for a man who truly is an American Hero.

REPOST THIS EVERYWHERE> Let's start the Anti Obama Movement .. right here... right now. Now is OUR Time.
I don't think I was as pissed off at Kerry and his supporters as I am Obama and his supporters who take people like me, of my race, my life experience, my viewpoint and brush us off as corrupted by the Republican Party.
Here's the last message I got from an Obama Supporter (mind you... she sent this to me twice... copying and pasting a heart filled message isn't heart filled you dumb idiot)
It's obvious you've surrounded yourself, either by choice or blood, by staunch Republicans. I feel much luckier than you, as I have the best of both worlds, with a Republican father and Democratic mother. Being too extreme cuts you off from getting to know, those who don't 'think' like you....
When you step outside the 'box' to think, you'll discover the universe!
Good luck on your journey Ali!
What's got me so worked up?
I have worked hard to have friends of every viewpoint. I have not made all the sacrifices in my dignity and been humiliated at times to hold a view just to put an elephant on my chest.
I'm ashamed to call some of these type of liberals Americans.
I'm half black. I'm half Arab. My dad left when I was two. My mom focused on surviving and gave us what she could. I helped raise my two little brothers as we were latchkey children. I was given the oppurtunity to explore different religions, political ideologies, and every practice of life out there. I hold many views contrary to the base of my party. I've personally been to hell and back and this little girl wants to brush off my viewpoint as inside the box?
He is a credible Conservative. He is an intellectual and a friend, who I often find disagreement with - but you can at least reason with him. He's not afraid of the truth.
The small base that still relies on Conservative talk radio needs to re examine talk radio and its authenticity.
David has kinder words than I for them... but still... truth is not missing.
This election will send us all in a polar direction of the opposite group. I've learn a lesson from a man I consider a mentor, Senator McCain (as you know - I'm no flakey supporter).
I'm American first.
Before party and usually before policy.
It's important to note that we must finally unite in November. I personally believe that a President McCain encourages more unity among the American people as opposed to a President Obama, however my fellow citizens will ultimately decide.. and I'll go with the popular majority (the electoral map pending).
We share many values and viewpoints. I look forward to bridging the divide.
I will however encourage and myself pursue a heated discussion and debate on the policies, issues, and yes even the politics of any given subject. Let's pursue this campaign knowing that in the end... we will be united in November.
We have a bright future ahead of us and we'll survive this no matter what. Rest assure.
