Okay I know that I didn't update for Kaleb's one month but we were so busy with moving it was crazy! But our little man is getting bigger and bigger each day and not to mention how smart he is now! He now knows how to do sign language for Milk and we are working on more and food. Last night he pulled himself up to standing using the couch. So now that he has figured that out I know it won't be long till he is walking! He will not be going to therapy again until september. Due to us going out of town and also his therapist will be out of town the week before us.

Kaleb is 7 months and 2 days old!

    I can't believe how big my little boy is getting! he is getting very mobile. He is rolling all over the place and scooting, not quite crawling yet but I think that is because of our hard wood floors. He is sleeping better at night and eating like there is no tomorrow. Therapy is going good and she seems to be really happy with his progress. We are planning on moving in a month, time to downsize! As much as I am going to miss John and Cait I am excited to be in a new place and have a place to our selves. Kaleb and I are getting really excited about our trip back to MO in August! We are going to be really busy seeing everyone we can but I am going to try to make time for everyone! Kaleb is in 6-9 month clothes but we can already tell that isn't going to last long. He is just so long and such a big boy. He loves everything about being in and around water, I swear I have never seen a kid so happy to take a bath! I am the luckiest mommy in the world. I have an amazing, smart, and happy baby! My family is truely the biggest blessing I could have ask for. Nick is a great daddy and Kaleb loves their time together. No matter what they do Kaleb seems to always be happy when dada has him! I guess that is all for now.

6 month check up!
Current mood: blah

We went in for Kaleb's well baby check today and there is no doubt I have got one healthy little boy! Kaleb now weighs 17 lbs. 13 oz. and is 25 1/2 inches long. His head is 17.53 inches around. His doctor said he is developmentally right where he should be. None the less Kaleb did not like this doctor yet again. Last time he punched and kicked him. This time he just sat and screamed bloody murder any time he touched him. All the doctor had done was put the stethoscope on Kaleb and he freaked! He got two shots and had to take an oral medicine. He is doing pretty good with the pain and hasn't been too fussy. Which is great compared to alot of kids I know after shots. He doesn't have to go back until right before we go to MO for our vacation in August. Well thanks for listening ~Love yall~ Amber and Kaleb

Kaleb is 6 months old!
Current mood: blessed

Well, we have come a long way in the past month. Kaleb's therapy is going great and he is making amazing progress! He now says 4 words; Momma, Dada, yah, and Hi. He has pretty much got crawling down he just hasn't figured out how to push up on his hands. He more like pulls with them. He is a rolling machine!!! He likes to roll off of his play mat and turn so he can look at the pictures on the entertainment center. He goes in for his well baby check on the 21st so I will update again after that when we have his weight and other measurements. We will also be putting him in his room tonight for the first time. So we will see how that goes. half way to a year can you believe it? a lil short update on Nick and I. We are doing well and still happy as can be. Nick's shoulder is healing well and each day seems to be another step towards him being healed! Keep him in your prayers for a full recovery. He is no longer wearing his brace during the day which is a big step in the right direction! I thank God for how he has blessed this little family of mine. I am truly the luckiest woman alive! I have an amazing husband that treats me great and provides for me and our son! I have a wonderful son who is the light of my life and makes me smile when I see him each and every morning. okay that is all for now Love yall' Amber and Kaleb

Kaleb said another word!!!

Tonight Nick, Kaleb, and me were all sitting on the couch, Kaleb reached over and touched Nick's arm and said "DA" clear as day! He had been trying for a while to say it but could only seem to get out aaaa. Then today he just did it like it was nothing! I can't believe how fast he is growing! Love yall'Amber and Kaleb

You have got to be kidding me!

Kaleb had done two more big milestones since I last posted about him turning 5 months old. On the night of the 16th while I was at wal-mart my friend Caitlin was watching him. He woke up from his nap and started looking around trying to see where I was. She said that clear as day he screamed "MOMMA"!!!!!! He was happy as soon as he saw me when I got home but won't say it again. I keep asking him to say momma and he just laughs at me. Then today he was having belly time on his play mat and rolled from his belly to back, okay no big deal he has been doing that since he was a month and a half. But then after a couple minutes of trying, HE ROLLED FROM HIS BACK TO HIS BELLY!!!!! My lil man is sooo smart! All these new things just in the last few days!

Kaleb is 5 months old!!!

My lil man is growin up! Kaleb is now over 16 pounds and still growing. We are feeding him cereal(oatmeal) and vegetables. He so far likes sweet potatoes and squash, but HATES carrots with a passion! I think I wore more than went in his mouth. He is still doing good with rolling from his belly to his back but can't quite get the concept of back to belly. He gets stuck and frustrated. He is becoming my lil inch worm with trying to crawl. It is more of a scoot right now. He is still daddy's lil man and loves when daddy comes home from work. Kaleb has this new thing where he is trying to blow rasberries which only come out as spitting bubbles with his lips. His Physical therapy is going great and I am already noticing a difference. I think that is all for now...

physical therapy and kaleb’s size

I just realized that I forgot to update after his doctors appointment. Kaleb has grown so much! He is 14 pounds and 15 ounces, 24 1/2 inches long. His weight puts him in the 50%, with his height he is only in the 25% but hey both of those are better than last time when he was in the bottom 3%. Well at that appointment his doctor noticed how Kaleb favors one side over the other and ordered that we take him to a physical therapist. We started that today and he did so good!! She showed us how to do the stretches at home so that I can work with him and we will only have to tae him in every 2 weeks. He is already doing really well and they have high hopes that we will have this fixe in no time.

4 months old!!

Wow how time truely flies. Kaleb is now 4 months old and is growing like a weed. He rolls over alot more now and loves to try to stand. He is eating alot and sleeping more. He laughed so hard yesterday it had Nick and I ready to cry from laughing so hard at him. His laugh is the cutest thing I have ever heard and I love it. I will know his weight and length on the 19th when we go to the doctor. I am not looking forward to that just because he gets another set of shots, so here is to hoping I don’t cry. Last time he held his breath when she did it so I hope this time is better. He looks more and more like daddy every day. I know he misses everyone in Missouri 
as much as we do. I will update more after his dr. appointment.
