Past, present and future Matriarchy

I want to start this off by clearing up the misconceptions of what Matriarchy is. Matriarchy is NOT a mirror image of patriarchy with women ruling over men. It is not about oppressing and abusing men the way patriarchy oppresses and abuses women.
There is a lot of debate about what defineds a Matriarch. There are some scholars that want strick guidlines on what defineds a Matriarchal society. They believe that all matrialistic characteristics must be present before a society can be declared a Matriarchal society. Matrialistic characters are
This whole debate pisses me off! We call America a patriarchal country, but is it really? while I do agree that America has a lot of patrialistic charachteristics, it is NOT a complete patriarch if we stick to the strick rules that have been given to the definition of Matriarchal. America might still be patrialinear and men might dominate politics, but even that is changing. So maybe we need new terms of patriachy to define American patriarchy? I think so!
Now that, that rant is out the way I want to talk about the past. Many anthropologists, archaeologists, mythologists, linguists, paleologists and even theologists are now admitting that a Matriarchal past is more than likely. Yes, our prehistoric ancestors were Matriarchal and lived in peaceful, nonviolent, egalitarian societies.
Many of these scholars now know that war did not exist prior to 6000 bc either and some have traced male rule, violence, child abuse, warfare, and sexual repression all the way to its very origins.
It is important to note that there are some scholars and ologists that will claim that there has never been and there will never be a Matriarchal society. BUT, they still refer back to matriarchal times as we see in encyclopedias. Clink on link to see examples.
And they also ignore the fact that there are Matriarchal societies that still exist to this very day and many of their artwork and motifs are very similar if not exactly the same as found in prehistoric times. We can even see it in the more recent past of the Matriarch Iraqious Nation that was the biggest influence on the first women's movement.
It seems to me that the scientists that deny matriarchy are just in denial like many patriarchal societies are.
Moving into the future it is clear we are circling back to our true origins, Matriarchy. Since women have gained control of their own bodies and the right to be educated(thanks to our Iraquios sisters!) women are whipping mens ass! women are out numbering men in college and are scoring higher grades and are becoming the bread winners of American families. More and more women are reaching the higher positions and pay in the work force. Women owned businesses are growing twice as fast as men owned. Lets face it we are becoming an American Matriarch.
Its no secret to the science community that the female is superior and without the violent oppression of men and their barbaric and oppressive religions, women are proving it!
But don't be afraid men, women have NEVER dominated and abused men in matriarchal societies, they just lead them on the right path. So, stop running from it, welcome it with open arms cause it is your ticket to freedom as well. Patraichy oppresses EVERYONE! Matriarch oppressed NO ONE!
And women dont forget your past! Learn it and NEVER forget it so will we never have to fight for our freedom again!

I am voting for Hillary because her track records show that Hillary is for women and is very concerned with womens needs. Here is snip from the National Organization for Women Political Action Committe.(NOW PAC)
Saving the Courts
Hillary Clinton recognizes the importance of the federal judiciary and opposed the nominations of both of the recent Bush appointees to the United States Supreme Court, John Roberts and Samuel Alito, and joined in the filibuster of Alito. As president, Clinton would nominate judges who respect women's rights.
Senator Clinton has a strong record protecting and advancing a woman's right to control her body and to plan her family as she sees fit.
Birth Control: Clinton co-sponsored the Prevention First legislation in the senate and has long advocated for strengthening access to contraception, identifying realistic solutions to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, and improving access to women's health care. Clinton continues to champion increased funding for Title X family planning services, and insuring equitable insurance coverage for contraception, and has introduced new legislation to ensure Medicaid coverage of contraception for low-income women.
Emergency Contraception (EC): Clinton led the fight, along with Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) to force the Food and Drug Administration to allow emergency contraception to be sold in pharmacies without a doctor's prescription, increasing its accessibility for emergency use. Senator Clinton also supported legislation to create, expand and fund teen pregnancy prevention programs and education programs that would include access to emergency contraceptives.
Abortion: Senator Clinton's votes have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to a woman's right to safe, legal abortion, while at the same time working on programs to reduce the number of unintended and unwanted pregnancies.
Abortion Procedures Ban: Clinton voted both times against the federal abortion procedures ban; the Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of that ban because of Alito's confirmation.
Young Women's Access: Clinton opposed a bill that would have made sisters, aunts, grandmothers, counselors, religious advisors -- indeed anyone who assists a minor in crossing the state line for an abortion without parental consent -- a felon. She actively campaigned against requiring parental notification for teen abortion, saying it would "put our most vulnerable teens at risk — teens who may already be endangered by negligent or even abusive homes."
Advancing Economic Justice
On every issue that affects the economic status of women and girls, Senator Clinton has advocated for a safer and more secure future.
Pay Equity: Clinton has supported and is the lead sponsor of the Paycheck Fairness Act. She has a robust track record promoting women's educational advancement and equality in the workplace.
Minimum Wage: Clinton has supported raising the minimum wage every time it has come up in Congress and understands that it is a fairness, anti-poverty and women's rights issue.
Overtime: Clinton was a leader in our fight to prevent the Department of Labor from undermining overtime protections for low-income workers, mostly women.
Work/Family Balance: Clinton supports early childhood education, universal availability of childcare for all, paid sick and family leave and policies that recognize the dual roles of workers who are parents and caregivers.
Social Security: Clinton opposes privatizing Social Security and recognizes that this social program is essential to economic security and livelihood of women and families.

These are some of the most important issues most women are concerned about. And only a woman can understand how important those issues are to women. And quite frankly I am sick of male president after male president promising equality for women and yet we still make less money and have even lost some of our most basic human rights. It is time to make a statement by putting a woman in the Whitehouse and letting the world know that America does respect and takes women and their needs(cause womens needs are humanity's needs!)seriously!
And think of what it says to our daughters!:) It tells them that women can hold power and that women's emotions and needs are not a weakness! We have been told for far too long that our emotions, needs and special abilities makes us the weaker sex. When in fact all those so called "weaknesses" are what society needs to function better. We can't keep lying to ourselves as women and telling ourselves that we are no different than men. We absolutely are! It is no scientific secrete that men and women even think differently. That is not saying one is smarter than the other, that has been scientifically proven not to be the case. We do have different biological functions and different emotional needs. And womens functions and needs have been abused and ignore for far too long now! That is why we need a woman in the Whitehouse and Hillary's track records proves she is just the woman for the job, in my opinion.
So, in short I guess you could say I am voting for Hillary because she is a woman and her track record proves she is for women. Why shouldn't I? I don't think any of the other canidates are doing any more for women's rights and some not any less, but it is the statement that is important as well!

As a mother of two daughters, I thought I should look into the research and studies about HPV vaccines for them and what I kept running into was the Hepatitis B experiment. The Hepatitis B experiment was done in the mid to late 70's in NY and the early 80's in CA and it was used on white promiscuous gay men. The scary thing is that many of the men from the experiment later tested positive for HIV and died from AIDS. Infact it was shortly after the experiment that AIDS broke out in America. And it was in America that AIDS first appeared, contrary to the popular belief that AIDS came from Africa. AIDS didn't appear in Africa until 1980 after the World Health Organization administered small pox vaccinations to the Aficans. Shortly after that AIDS became an epidemic in Africa. Adelphiasophists are anti-war because we ask who benefits from war! So who benefits from war? NO ONE! And if people bother to take the time to look into war, they would be ati-war too. In fact that is exactly what war mongers do not want you to do, so they create war propaganda to scare and confuse the masses. To learn more about war propaganda and how it works go here..
As a military wife and a follower of Adelphiasophism it has been an interesting journey. I'll explain how I rationalize it. First off, I am a realist! As long as there are rogue countries out there ruled by theocracies EVERY crountry has to have a strong National DEFENCE. I capitalized defence, because that is what our country's armed forces are supposed to be!
I was also with my husband before he went into the military. It was something we both agreed to when he couldn't find a decent job even with a BA. My husband was raised a Navy brat and the military was an easy paycheck for him. We both have never been gung ho military. It is just an easy paycheck with benefits, like most other peoples jobs. And don't think just because you arent in the military that your job doesn't contribute to the war machine, because it does. Big corparations are getting freaking richer with evenry drop of human blood. War is a horrible cycle that EVERY ONE OF US gets swept up in without even realizing it. And NO ONE benefits and we all are victims to it!
Anyway when 911 happened I was angry about it just like everyone else, but it didn't take me long to realize that it was causing a rush of nationalism throughout America. People were taking their flag poles from their yards and houses and rigging them to their cars and wherever else they could fly their flags in peoples faces from. It just got rediculous and quick! And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it did! The Bush adminastration began talking about invading Iraq. My husband and I were skeptical, but wanted to hear the whole story. Well, the more that came out to the media the more we questioned and then the day came when my husband came home and told me he was beeing sent to Iraq. My first question was WTF? Why Iraq? They havent even got all the evidence in yet. That is when I really started to question. First of all, my common sense told me that getting Bin Ladin does not take war and he was in Afganistan! Our military is more than capable of taken BinLadin out without all the war hoopla. Then came the "if you question, you are against the troops", so be a good little military wife and shut your mouth. WTF was wrong with them? Dont they love their husbands and sons and daughters???? I know I do and you had better have a damn good reason to send my husband, the father of my children who I have spent many years in a loving devoted relationship with, off to possible be killed. What kind of human beings are these people who can send their loved ones off to possibly die for no good reason? Brainwashed people, thats who! who got caught up in nationalism! People who are christians(especially conservative ones!) are 10 X more likely to get caught up in nationalism and human sacrifice, cuz that is what war is! Human sacrifice built up by nationalism.
For those of us that didn't get sucked in, we are watching in horror and shock! The bush administration has lied to us and now has us stuck in a war that is unwinnable and draining the ecomomy. Our children's future is being trashed by religious beliefs, lies, greed and war! Shame on America!!

We were both raised catholic. That is what our parents were and told us we were, so that is what we called our selves. It's so wierd how life plays out. 911 happened when I was really trying to find myself. I was recovering from having a bad experience with other military wives who were really cramming the whole god thing down my thoat. Yeah, I gave it a shot against my better judgment, but hey that is when I really started to read the bible and learning the truth about it. From there I went on to dabble in other religions, mostly just learning about them, but I got a LOT out of them, especially Wicca( I have dabbled in wicca off and on since I was a teen). Thanks to them for helping me come to terms with being a woman and the power it really holds!!( a little shout out to my sistahs) }

Adelphiasophism is an atheistic philosophy based in reality and scientific facts. The Six Practical Principles of Adelphiasophism are....
1. Always be skeptical about things, especially what people tell you without adequate evidence. We are all inclined to gullibility, probably because originally we lived in small family groups and could trust our neighbours and advisers. That is no longer true, and it is up to us to take care. All sorts of plausible rogues want to persuade us of things that are in their interest not ours. Pastors and priests were the first among them! "Caveat emptor" is the old warning, and it is wholly right—"let the buyer beware". If you are conned, it is your fault for not being suspicious. Another good motto is "Who benefits?" When someone invites you to do something, always ask this. When our leaders want us to go to war, who benefits? It is rarely us!
2. Seek out the truth. But if we are being so cautious about what we are told, what is the truth? The truth is what has been proven. It is not necessarily what most people believe. Most people believe a religion, but none of them are true. What is proven is scientific facts. They are facts because they have been proven by careful observation and controlled experiments, and have been shown to be true under the specified circumstances. Of course, advertisers and confidence tricksters can pretend that something is scientific, and that is all the more reason to be suspicious of gash scientific claims made by advertisers and people trying to persuade you to buy something. Their interest is not often the truth. "Caveat emptor" and "who benefits?" Accepted science appears in text books of science. That is the science that has been tested and approved by the scientific community. Certainly science is expanding, but every study reported is not science. It is one study, and has to be verified independently by others to be science. So, just to read that so-and-so has been discovered, does not mean that you immediately believe it. Wait until it has been accepted generally. The same is true of governments. They cannot be trusted to tell the truth because they have their own agenda. Always be skeptical of their claims, especially when the consequences are serious of scaring the public.
3. The best guardian against being gulled is to understand science, so it is our duty to teach it. Ours is hardly a good society in which many of our people can be fooled and manipulated by unscrupulous tricksters. So long as other people still believe in superstition and religion making them open to being defrauded by rogues and pastors, none of us can feel comfortable. It is easier for them to believe religious falsehood than to lear scientific truth, but it is not a reason why anyone interested in a better society should be sanguine about it. Science is true because the scientific method works, and although the corpus of scientific facts is getting huge, the scientific method itself is childishly easy. Everyone should be taught it from an early age as the best shiled against fraud and religion.
4. Seek immortality through good deeds, leaving behind reasons to be remembered with affection, not hoping religious fancy like personal salvation turns out to be true. The world is not so big that it cannot be harmed, and it is up to us to leave it in a state fit for our children and their children to live in. Indeed we ought to leave it better for them than it was for us. Everyone therefore has a great incentive to contribute to the improvement of the environment, but regretably, so far, many have done the opposite. Yes, the great inventions of science have improved life for many of us, but only at the expense of gross exploitation of the earth. Now, all of us must get our motivation in life from aiming to improve the world. It is the world that must be saved, not the imagined soul of each of us individually. That is selfishness. Our aim has to be selfconscious selflessness. We have to move from thinking of particular holy places and cities to treating this as a holy world.
5. Take your personal morality from the commitment not to offend the earth directly or indirectly. All morality is personal morality. Religions do not teach this, claiming that morality is from God or the Devil. Thus God and the Devil are responsible respectively for all good and for all evil in the world. It is absolutely untrue. You are responisble personally for your morality. You have no personal responsibility for the morality of others, that is the responsibility of society as a whole, through its laws. It is not moral to take any law into your own hands, but it is moral for everyone to do their own personal moral duty. You do not offend the earth because any such offence damages it, or damages what it has produced. You do not murder other people, but nor do you gratuitously kill other animals and plants or destroy the landscape, lie, steal or generally hurt other beings physically or mentally. That is why the offence to the earth can not be direct or indirect. So all morality is embodied in this one commandment of Adelphiasophism. Our minimum is not to harm the world directly or indirectly, but rather that we live our lives to improve it.
6. Teach the wise women's wisdom, teach respect for the Goddess, teach Adelphiasophism, the true world outlook. Successful religions proselytize and missionize, and so must Adelphiasophists, not least because our scientific approach means we do teach truth, unlike all the false world views called religions that claim to.
Although Adelphiasophism is an atheistic philosophy it is VERY pagan friendly! Most Pagan religions are Earth Bound religions that do not base their beliefs in "holy" scriptures. They revere nature its self as the Goddess and so do Adelphiasophists. The Goddess is not a personified diety, it is nature herself in all her wonder. Adelphiasophists refer to the Earth as Goddess, because it is the female principle that creates life. The female sex is the default sex and in many species there are no males and even in some species that do have males, the females still reproduce on their own.

"The male cell has to struggle biochemically to be male. The female embryo has two X chromosomes, a failsafe system so that either can take over if the other is defective, but the embryo also lives in a female environment—the female hormones of the mother. This is why the female is the fundamental sex. The embryonic male has to develop in an alien environment showing that maleness is the derived sex. In the male embryo, an X chromosome has become a Y chromosome, making it male, but it still has the female environment of the mother's hormones. In this situation, it must develop nevertheless as a male, turning the embryonic gonads into testes which must produce enough male hormones to counter the mother's. Any error will be likely to cause a reversion to the natural female condition."
So, it is only natural to rever our natural life giver as the Goddess and many Pagans already do.
Adelphiasophists differ from atheist in that they understand that humans are innately spiritual and need a sense of spirituality to function to their fullest potential. True Spirituality should never extend beyond our natural world. True spirituality is that rush of emotions that we get when we look out at the natural world and get a sense of oneness with it and all the living creatures within it.

And lastly...how does Adelphiasophism unite with liberal Christians...Liberal Christians tend not to believe every word of the bible and for the most part have a pretty good understanding of what True spirituality is. Most importantly, many of them do not believe Jesus was a true god-man, but a wise philosopher much like Buddha. Who happened to have a message of self knowledge and enlightment. With self knowledge and enlightment comes a sense of oneness with the natural world and where they fit in. Which is the overall message of Adelphiasophism.

the long answer to why I am an athiest

Ok, heres my long answer...
As a child I was sexually abused by my step father and no matter how much I prayed he didn't stop. My step father was a fairly religious man and he made sure we knew he was head of the house, ordained by god. He truly believed it was his god given right to do whatever he wanted to us. By that point I HATED god! How could a loving god allow this? What did I do to deserve what was happening to me? I felt dirty, ashamed, and unworthy of god's love.
As I got older and married, god was a negative issue for me. When bible thumpers would come to the door preaching the love of god, my answer was always..."if god is so good, how come he allows horrible things to happen to innocent children"...."why didn't he answer my prayers to get my step father to stop sexually abusing me?". Their answers were always pathitic and no answer at all.
Trying to live my life and be a good mother with all the horrible memories and peer presure from other military wives, who were mostly religious zealots, I tried to turn to god. I began reading the bible and I was ABSOLUTELY horrified by what I read and I also realized why so many men did horrible things to women and children. I also realized that within all the biblical taboos, nowhere does it say a father shall not lay with his daughter! Now there are laws about a woman not lying with her brothers, and animals, laws about not lying with strange women, laws about not lying with the same sex or your nieghbors wife or your brothers wife, but NOWHERE does it say a father shalt not lie with his daughter!
Here are the biblical laws from Leviticus 20:11-21
20:10And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
20:11And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
20:12And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
20:13If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
20:14And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
20:15And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

There sure are a lot of rules about laying with women and some down right insulting rules about women, but nowhere does it say men shalt not lay with their daughters and little girls. Infact it was a common practice for men to marry little girls. The younger the better as far as the bible is concerned.
How can a society deem the god of the bible as a loving and just god? I just don't see it. All I see is a book written by men for men. And I want NO part of it! It is the most repulsive book I have ever read! And it was at this point that I realized that there was no god only men who made up a god to glorify themselves and justify the own evilness.
People ask me all the time, how can I be an atheist. Well, the short answer is that I've read the bible and it happens to be the most repulsive book I ever read! It's full of war, demanded by god, sexism, demanded by god, racism, demanded by god, abuse of children, demanded by god and the abuse of animals and nature, all demanded by god. Yeah, I know "but that was really man and not god". Well, if that is the case then why follow a book that cruel sadistic men wrote? By all means, the men who wrote the bible are the worst representatives of a god.
Ok, time for bed. I will give a long answer for why I am an atheist another time.
Ok, my daughter created a space for me and I am still trying to find the time to figure out how to use myspace. So, bare with me, cuz I have a lot of topics and interests I would like to post that I'm sure many others will find interesting as well. I'm a pretty big activist for childrens rights, animal rights, human rights and atheism. Some even say I'm a consiracy theorist. I definately think the government is corrupt and up to no good as well as our judicial system. So, maybe I am.
I will post more on my blog as soon as I see how this turned out.
