Summerbreeze in lovely Dinkelsbuehl, Bavaria was fun, although playing in day light takes a lot of atmosphere away.. also the conglomeration of boys suffering from severe puberty syndrome shouting sexist bullshit - i felt kinda embarassed for my home country Germany there. That shit has never happened to me all these years anywhere else. A bit like being back in kindergarden.. a shame. On a positive note: We had an awesome response, people singing along, circle pits and even a Wall Of Death - I just hope nobody got seriously hurt in there.. I am not really for that kind of thing, I believe its too risky.. I def wouldnt wanna get in there. I like my bones in one piece.
The idiot at the signing session asking me to sign his dick got punched in the face and then covered in beer by the Arch Enemy boyz - I hope he got the message..
Everybody else was lovely and respectful - so no hard feelings ;-)

Brutal assault in Czech Republik - it was cold, rainy and depressingly grey every where. What a shame for the visitors! They stood tall though and we hit the stage 20.15 pm and had a fantastic show! It was our first time in this country, but most certainly not the last! These people love their metal. We had a great sound, great light design and a pure fucking metal audience. Check it out:

Flicking between reports about the Olympics and news on Russia invading Georgia. Prime minister Putin rushing back from the Olympics to open fire on his democratic neighbours. Whilst the Russian Olympic team symbolically hugs their fellow Georgian sports competitors. The Olympics represent Utopia, where respect, fairness and peace dominate. Held in a part of this world where human rights mean nothing. Not really.
A while back we visited Russia and asked our friends there how they view their government. They feel their current president Medvedev is just a puppet in a game, Putin the puppet master, holding the threads, the military power, those with money backing him up. Is this a democracy? Are the Russian people backing up their government? If not I hope they will go out in the streets and voice their discontent. Russia will force Georgia to replace their president with another puppet loyal to Russia. Politics are sickening. The NATO will back up Georgia, but are they willing to go as far as upsetting the super force that is Russia? And whilst the Politicians are talking, human rights are being raped again.
I wish the world could be one big Olympic game.
I have no answers. Just as many question as you have. My favourite Napalm Death track: You Suffer – But Why?
Speak up. Be fair. We might not change the big picture, but we can make small steps to utopia in our imminent environment. And who knows – if many join in they might even force their government to listen to its people.

Girls In Technology - A mission to support academic & community programs!
The mission of Girls in Technology is to support academic and community programs that engage school-age girls in technology and computer-related learning. This support can take many forms such as providing mentors and speakers, assisting with program and curriculum development, providing financial support, and collaborating with strategic partners to expose school-age girls to technology. We especially target underserved and disadvantaged communities.
Currently, GIT furthers its mission by supporting summer camps and after school computer clubs for girls that provide technology/math/science enrichment and promote leadership skills. To further the mission, GIT launched the WIT Education Foundation (WITEF), a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable foundation focused on Girls in Technology and educational programs.

Graspop Festival: We had a fantastic time on stage there! I wore my German football shirt - unfortunately our team played rather weak against the Spanish and they deserved to win the European Championship for sure.. Damnit!

Thank you for the overwhelming response – the Graspop festival is one of the best festivals out there, such a great variety of metal and people!
Metalcamp: Tolmin, Slovenia is a beautiful little town, wedged in between green mountains and crisp clear rivers, shimmering in aquamarine blue colour.. The festival itself is almost a week long and sports a wonderful community of metal fans and a very diverse range of bands. We headlined the last day - Tuesday - and despite all the heavy rain storms blasting through the camp site its visitors stood tall up to the last minute! We had a fantastic show and filmed it with 12 cameras (including crane).. It is never wrong to have exciting live footage in the vault! Here some impressions:
Thank you to everybody who screamed, banged, moshed, hung out and simply showed up for us - We had a blast and I hope you had a great time too!!!

He is currently in Shanghai @ the RoboCup, presenting a rescue robot that can venture autonomously into hazardous terrain and detect humans and help them out of the danger zone.. I should ask him to build one for the moshpit.. Next time my mum gets in I can get her out safely ;-)
