Life is busy and Im not yet recovered from last week.

68 hrs in five days. sheesh. And now a 4 hr meeting today.

 Plus I have to finish my costume and Aaron's in 2 days, have laundry to do and
Halloween stuff to pack for the Event for ECC.

Saturday is the halloween event, and sunday Im dying Lia's hair. it should be fun.I want to sleep, but have so much to do.
 
So Im sitting here, sorta putting it off a bit.

Ah well, tomorrow is payday and it will be good. More time to glue stuff together, more time to get stuff done.

I love my kids.
They treat each other well and for the most part, are really well behaved.

Lia is respectful and loving and amazing and creative and talented.

Torin is thoughtful and smart and good natured- altho he is still a boy, doin boy stuff, he listens to me most of the time.

Lia has calmed down so much since she has not been around Matt now, and Im happy I can see that change.

She's not the emotional wreck she used to be, and Torin is much more supportive to me as well now that Lia isn't all emotional cuz her dad treats her like he does not want her around. Lia is relizing she is loved far more by many more people that matter far mor than matt and really doesn't care much any more about him, just her sister and her step mom. She is ajusting at twn to things ten year olds should not cope with, and she is doing amazing at it.

All in all life is good.

 Im hoping the cello is a good choice for Lia. She seems happy with it.

Boyscouts didn't fit with my view of what I want Torin to grow up with values wise, but he has found friends around here he is much happier with. God what a loving child he is.

My kids are awesome. Just have to say that every so often.

The theme was "a Midsummer night's dream"
Almost every one made their costumes and masks. I hand made at least 6 of the masks, mine and Aaron's costumes and aaron's staff- yes I made the unicorn skull. Aaron's mask is fully paper mache and I molded it from a plastic skull.  you can click each picture to zoom in once you have it selected and you can see the details in many of the masks and costumes.

I love the game and the people I play with- we have suck talented creative people. The event was amazing

Bulletin Drama

There is this person who used to be a friend of mine.

He helped take care of me through a bad time in my life.

But after feeling like I was being taken advantage of, and hearing the extreme hatred he spouts constantly and randomly, I had to remove him from both myspace and LJ.

I'm trying to figure out how a bald working class Dom with a collared Slave, can be such a supporter of Right wing retoric. He supports the sex industry and Adult film makers and freedom in this country yet he heavily embrces the utter CRAP spewed forth by Ann Coulter... AND posts it on their Bulletins for everyone to see. I mean christ, you have Porn stars as friends on your myspace and you post that shit so it shows up on their pages?

So stupid


Another person has removed him from their list as well. Maybe he'll get the idea that that shit ain't cool soon enough.

Redneck Brother in law ( yes Misty- its about Shannon)

My sister sent me this about her Husband, with whom she was stupid enough to marry and procreate.

"I have to tell you the funniest thing that I ever saw the other day....this is SOOOOO redneck.

Shannon goes over to speak to our neighbor Jason (the landlord's son). Pretty soon he comes back to get his pellet gun.

Turns out that Jason, his brother in law, and Shannon have set up a flood light, lawn chairs and a a few blocks so they can hunt "a opposum" that is going under the hen house.

They have lawn chairs, chips, soda and popcorn and they are sitting out side in the cold waiting for a "opposum". Can't you just see that picture? Like they are at the movies?
Turns out it is not a opposum, it can't be.

They kept telling me that they dug up one of it's tunnels (they don't dig tunnels) and they think it's nest is in one of them (they live in trees).

So I am laughing at a country boy who should know better and a city boy who doesn't trying to explain this stuff.

They saw the critter again, and it turns out that it is white.

So what we are dealing with is a tame rat gone huge and bad.

They tried smoking him out today, did not work either (tried to tell them that). "

*blinks*

I was rendered speechless due to laughing so hard I could not breath.

However, I did manage to squeak.

And then there is the fact that she used the word "critter."

She called it a "Critter."

Lord help those of us related to these people.

At least I have Misty.
