The Reality of It All

     "Ministers... cannot in any country be uninfluenced by the voice of the people."

     My Fellow Americans,

          As we near the presidential elections, I fear the distractions from both parties have served to divert our attention and energies in the wrong direction. Yes, we are faced with very serious issues that must be resolved and require much debate. Issues like the war and border security, health care and education, or social security. These are just some of the important issues that must be addressed by those we elect to represent us in government.

However, these issues are nothing in comparison to the most important issue facing each and every one of us as citizens of this great nation. None of these issues will ever be resolved completely or correctly without knowing exactly how We The People want them resolved. Without a true vote of the majority, without your conscientious attention to the understanding  of all the issues, and without YOUR VOTE, the process of government is nothing but a sham.

     Sure, we can do what we have done for the last century and believe things are fine or will all work out. We can let the small percentage of voters show up to the polls and allow the corporate lobbyists to continue their manipulation of our government. We can accept all of the happy horseshit thrown our way just like they want us to……….     Or we can exercise our right to vote. We can show them that We the People are capable of self government, and we can tell the corporations and the wealthy to go STRAIGHT TO HELL.

     "Unless the mass retains sufficient control over those entrusted with the powers of their government, these will be perverted to their own oppression, and to the perpetuation of wealth and power in the individuals and their families selected for the trust."

     We The People will always have differences of opinion when it comes to the policies and procedures of our government. We cannot allow these differences to distract us from our most important responsibility as citizens, to participate in the process of government and to vote.

     "That differences of opinion should arise among men on politics, on religion and on every other topic of human inquiry, and that these should be freely expressed in a country where all our faculties are free, is to be expected. But these valuable privileges are much perverted when permitted to disturb the harmony of social intercourse, and to lessen the tolerance of opinion."

     Embrace your opinions and your beliefs and hold them sacred, but do not allow them to interfere with your responsibility to the continuance of our republic. If your cause is just, in the end truth will prevail and justice will be served, but first and foremost our republic must be saved. Your participation in the process, your vote, should be made based on facts and not swayed by unproven insinuations or rumors as those on the far ends of the political spectrum would prefer of you. Keep in mind that the extremists on both sides often use misinformation to maintain interest in their agendas or to distract our attention from the real issues. These tactics have been around for years, but have never been as effective as they are in this era of uncertainty.

     "Follow truth as the only safe guide, and... eschew error, which bewilders us in one false consequence after another."

     The corporations and the wealthy are in constant fear of the people. The worst thing for them would be a true majority vote and control of the government by the people as designed. For that reason alone they continue to distract us all from our duty, our responsibility as citizens.

     "[Our] object is to secure self-government by the republicanism of our constitution, as well as by the spirit of the people; and to nourish and perpetuate that spirit. I am not among those who fear the people. They and not the rich are our dependence for continued freedom."

     Continued freedom hinges more on your participation in the process of government than it does with which politician lied or why we are at war. Those issues can be resolved by a government Of The People, For The People and By The People without the manipulation of the wealthy or the corporations.

     Get over yourselves America! We have a republic to take back and if we don't do it with a true majority vote, we are just handing over our freedom, our liberty, our very potential to the wealthy corporate bastards with little hope of ever regaining it.

Take America Back From The Extremist Bastards!

     My fellow Americans,

     I have spent the last few months traveling around this beautiful nation and talking with the proud citizens. However, what I have learned did not inspire me. It seems that most Americans have decided they can do nothing to change the direction of our government and have accepted their inevitable loss of rights.

     For too long we have enjoyed the freedom and luxury of this great republic without replenishing the fire and passion, the fuel which enables the continuance of our liberty. Many have prospered at the expense of others and the concept of equal right for all has been manipulated to benefit those in power. The spirit of the people, suppressed by the corrupt, is no longer an integral part of our government, and thus true liberty has died.

     "Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."

     Our government, designed to be "Of the PEOPLE, For the PEOPLE and By the PEOPLE, has become one controlled by the interest of corporations and the wealthy.

The voice of the people is ignored by those we trust to represent us, and yet we continue to elect them to office.

     "The spirit of the times may alter, will alter. Our rulers will become corrupt, our people careless. A single zealot may commence persecutor, and better men be his victims. It can never be too often repeated that the time for fixing every essential right on a legal basis is while our rulers are honest and ourselves united. From the conclusion of [their] war [for independence, a nation begins] going down hill. It will not then be necessary to resort every moment to the people for support. They will be forgotten, therefore, and their rights disregarded. They will forget themselves but in the sole faculty of making money, and will never think of uniting to effect a due respect for their rights. The shackles, therefore, which shall not be knocked off at the conclusion of [that] war will remain on [them] long, will be made heavier and heavier, till [their] rights shall revive or expire in a convulsion."

     It may well be too late to revive our rights and prevent their permanent expiration. Mere bitching amongst ourselves will be futile and only serves to expedite the demise of our liberty. We can no longer allow the extremes of either party to keep us from uniting towards the most important cause of all, the continuance of our republic.

     "To secure these [inalienable] rights [to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness], governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed... Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."

     Now, I am not suggesting that our form of government be changed, on the contrary. Our form of government, as designed, is the very best form of government, when the people remain vigilant and continue to participate in its processes. What I am suggesting is that the PEOPLE take control of the government, first by the greatest turn out of voters ever witnessed and second by continued participation in the process of government by staying informed and holding our representatives accountable. Representatives at all levels must be made aware that WE THE PEOPLE make the decisions regarding the government of this nation.

     Your decision on how to vote is one only you can make, and I would be completely out of line to attempt to persuade you. It is through the diversity of the people, and how they view issues, that we are able to ascertain which ideas and candidates appeal to the needs of THE MAJORITY.

      "Difference of opinion leads to enquiry, and enquiry to truth; and that, I am sure, is the ultimate and sincere object of us both. We both value too much the freedom of opinion sanctioned by our Constitution, not to cherish its exercise even where in opposition to ourselves."

      One of the biggest detriments to our form of government, and inevitably our way of life, is the effect of radical extremism from those on both ends of the political spectrum. It is these radical groups who drive a wedge between us and inhibit necessary compromise.

     "In every country where man is free to think and to speak, differences of opinion will arise from difference of perception, and the imperfection of reason; but these differences when permitted, as in this happy country, to purify themselves by free discussion, are but as passing clouds overspreading our land transiently and leaving our horizon more bright and serene."

     Cast aside the radical opinions of the conspiracy theorists of the left and the self righteous, holier than thou extremist right wing. Use your own moral compass and make your decision based on facts and reason.

     But please, make a decision and vote. This right is the most important and most influential tool we have as citizens. If we can get a true majority of citizens to vote, we will hear the voice of the majority and become aware of the issues concerning that majority. With those concerns in mind we can then direct our representatives towards the necessary resolutions.

     "In every free and deliberating society, there must, from the nature of man, be opposite parties, and violent dissensions and discords; and one of these, for the most part, must prevail over the other for a longer or shorter time."

     It is never necessary to allow your government to be controlled by a radical minority or tyrannical entity. The direction of our government can easily be controlled when the majority, the people, participate.

     Don't be bullied by corporate America or the radical extremists. Stand up as an individual and vote based on the facts rather than the perception of someone else who may have ulterior motives.

     This is your country and your government.

     Take it back America!

Annoying NeoCon Wimps!

     Well, I have put this off for some time in hopes that some of the radical right wingers would come to their senses and start acting like Americans. However, with growing fear of being exposed as WRONG, they have built up their blogging efforts to divert our attention from the facts. The facts that prove the how the neo cons, and especially the unintelligent morons who frequent MySpace, like DocManJay, Clay and Ollie to name a few, are destroying our country and threatening our freedom. That's right; by their actions they are doing more harm than the 911 terrorists. The spewing of hate that divides our country is just what the terrorists were looking for when they attacked and people like Doc have obliged them.

     I hope they are held accountable for their treasonous acts and summarily hanged by the neck until dead. That is if the country gets through this intact, which is doubtful given the damage being done by the wealthy and the corporations, who the ultra right wingers support wholeheartedly and would not dare to challenge.

     It is very frightening to realize how much these morons are willing to believe. It is like they are mindless drones doing the dirty work for the corporate controlled puppet government, eating the proverbial shit and liking it. I thought for sure they would have recognized the taste by now and put a stop to it, but perhaps they enjoy it……They might want to re-think it, because if a violent revolution starts they will be prime targets for elimination and I for one would hunt them down.

     So we will continue to battle among ourselves verbally until at last the final straw is placed on the camels back and then violence will take over. Maybe that is what the neo cons want, a bloody revolution, since they are working so hard to divide us. I hope they know what they are getting into.

     I had personally hoped to never stoop to this level, but the recent blogs by the neo con NAZI LIKE morons have been so hate filled that I had to respond. I am so tired of their verbal attacks (all bullshit and no substance) that I would gladly meet them all somewhere and settle it with fists if that would stop it. Yeah, all of them, one at a time getting a solid beating, that would make me feel much better. But since they all appear to be chickenshit sissies who hide behind their computer screens, well I guess it won't happen and we will have to continue hearing their crap.

     DocManJay is a traitor, he claims to be a patriot but he is a treasonous liar bent on the downfall of The United States of America. If you know him, warn him about what they do to traitors.

     This offensive stems from the fear of losing control in government due to the ineffectiveness of the current president and his administration. With everything he has goofed up, all the money he spent foolishly and especially all the soldiers that died because of his ego and lust for money, they still feel a need to support him. I don't get it.

And don't give me that crap about how I am unpatriotic because I am opposed to the war. I served twenty years in the USAF, served in both gulf wars and retired from the USAF highly decorated. Just because I oppose war does not mean I am against the troops, read my other blogs and you will see that. I am pro military, always have been and always will be. I just happen to believe Iraq was the wrong target, and it actually pulled us away from the destruction of those who really are a threat. It put us in a difficult position with no clear mission objective (something no military leader wants to be without). I want our troops to have a clear mission objective and the freedom to achieve that goal ass they were trained to do. THEN I WANT THEM TO COME HOME, AS HEROES.

     Any harm being done to the troops is fully the responsibility of the president and his administration. Any aggravation should be directed towards our political leaders not our troops, and certainly not each other like Doc and his crew do regularly.

     When will all of you ignorant morons realize the harm you are doing to this country and start working to unite it rather than divide it?

It Won’t Be Long Now America

My fellow Americans,

     This is a sad time for me, and a sad time for anyone who appreciates the tenacity of our forefathers in their fight for freedom from oppression.

     The United States of America, land of the free and home of the brave, let freedom ring. Give me liberty, or give me death. When these people spoke, they did so with conviction. When they acted, they did so with energy and enthusiasm. This great republic was born out of a desire for liberty. Our founding fathers wanted to ensure the continuance of liberty in the establishment of this nation, and were careful to consider all points of view in their decisions. Their debates were long and heated, their ideas were many, but their common goal was one. Through compromise and sacrifice our government was established, a form of government never before tried, an experiment into self government by free men.

      It won't be long now America. This is a sad time because I now realize we have failed the experiment, we are incapable of self government due to our lack of participation. The hard work put forth in the pursuit of our liberty was all for nothing. We surrendered our liberty to the wealthy and the corporations in exchange for convenience and the perception of success. We sold out our forefathers for television and cellular phones.

     Although many Americans now realize the grave mistakes we have made, their dependence on government harnesses their concern and keeps them compliant. The people no longer have the will to effect change. The people of this country have been classified and catalogued into groups which inhibit the potential for unity and give the power of the majority to the wealthy and the corporations they own.  

     It won't be long now America. The corporations are moving their operations to third world countries and taking away jobs. The rich will continue to get richer and everyone else will get poorer.

     The threat of terrorism has already changed the way we live. Our government can now ignore our rights in the name of a false sense of security, and when necessary, potential threats are made public to instill fear into the hearts of the masses. From Osama to the Bird Flu, from AIDS to gang violence, our government uses them as tools to justify their actions. The need for a national ID card, the VeriChip, even flu shots are ways the government maintains records on us and can control our actions.

If the government told you the bird flu had hit your area, and they had a vaccination to prevent your infection, would you get that shot? Consider that in that shot there might be a microchip….It, won't be long now America.

     We are forced to conform to meet the needs of our government, a government designed to meet our needs. Soon people will rebel, and our government will declare martial law. It will be a very dangerous time for our country and we will be vulnerable to attack from other countries. But it will be those who want government reform who are considered a threat, and they will be arrested and placed in concentration camps for reprogramming. Soon we will all be forced to think alike, and those who don't will be persecuted. No more free speech or freedom of the press. No more right to bear arms and no more innocent until proven guilty. No more life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It won't be long now America.

The Corporate Abandonment Of America

Good Day My Revolutionary Family,

     I wanted to take a few seconds to reflect on the damage being done to America by corporations. It has been said many times that corporate America manipulates our government to benefit their bottom line, their profits, executive salaries and bonuses.

However, we need to consider the affect it has on the average American citizen when a major corporation moves its operations out of the country.

     I received an e-mail just the other day that I would like to share with you. I received it from a family member, I don't know from whom it originated.

A sad story for those of us who remember growing up with Hershey bars, and just as sad
 for the generations of today. What will be out sourced next? Pennsylvania is a big state, but it amazes me in this day, how some news doesn't make it over the  mountain to the front page of our papers or the top of our news hours in
Western Pennsylvania.
Some of you may not know that Vicki's dad makes Hershey's Kisses for a living, so this hits home for us. Milton Hershey, this year, will be joining H. J Heinz in rolling over in his grave. Hershey Chocolate is moving to
MEXICO...whoopee! They're even closing down Hershey Canada. Don't buy any more Hershey Bars. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are my favorite and they are made by Hershey. But, I will not purchase Another one!
M.S. Hershey had a dream... I will buy my OWN Sugar, Milk, Cocoa beans, (all natural mind you!) and make candy... (no tariffs etc..) EVEN during the depression...HE and the
Company made money...NOW some Corporate big wigs are ruining the name... AND the product M.S. created... Please pass it on...What a bunch of college educated 'idiots'.
So Hershey executives are closing plants in the
US ,laying off over a thousand people, and destroying Mr. Hershey's dream, all to cut labor, material costs  and AVOID PAYING ANY US TAXES! The company will save about $170 million a year,  all on the backs of the American people. The top  executives will still make their mega bucks and the  laid off workers will have to find other jobs, some probably at minimum wage due to their age. All this to take their jobs to India, China and Mexico, So WHAT part of the 'GREAT' American Chocolate Bar is left?...NOTHING! These countries are no doubt laughing at the Americans, who they don't like anyway. How long are the American people going to sit around and let big corporations do this to us? We must all band together and let our Politicians in Washington know we have had it with NAFTA, CAFTA and 'SHAFTA' and we won't take it any longer!
Please, do not buy any Hershey product! I pulled EVERY dime of my stock, retirement and my HEART out of Hershey... (it does hurt me to say that). If the company wants to take the work to these countries, then let those countries buy the product. We don't need it!
BOYCOTT HERSHEY!!
Please pass this to everyone on your email list so it gets all across the
United States.

     Hershey, as much a part of American society as baseball and apple pie is selling out on the citizens of this nation in the pursuit of more profit. Casting aside over a thousand dedicated workers that made them the corporation they are and spitting in the face of the American public who supported them for so long.

     "How soon the labor of men would make a paradise of the whole earth, were it not for misgovernment, and a diversion of all his energies from their proper object -- the happiness of man -- to the selfish interest of kings, nobles, and priests."    

     This got me to thinking about how many companies are relocating their operations to third world countries to exploit the citizens of that nation for as long as they can. Couple that with the outsourcing of so many call center jobs for the same reason, to exploit the people in order to increase profits, profits that promise high salaries and generous bonuses for corporate executives. What happened to "Made In The USA" and corporate pride for American made products? Corporate America is no longer American at all, they merely use our country as a shop to sell their goods at inflated prices, to people who now need their products like a junkie needs dope. Years of creative marketing coupled with devious manipulation of the economy through control of our government, has Americans addicted to technology, convenience and luxury. With our society firmly hooked, they no longer need public support, so they can move their production and take advantage of labor that costs much less and where they are not required to provide benefits or pay high taxes. This type of activity is common and should be expected to increase significantly over the next decade. It is all part of the corporate plan for globalization and a one world government which they can more easily manipulate.

     The citizens of this great republic have endured the oppression of a government manipulated by the corporations for too long. The needs of the people, unimportant to the corporations and apparently our own government, have been neglected. The dedicated labor of American workers made these corporations into giants and now they are being cast aside like yesterdays garbage. Their hard work and loyalty considered as unimportant as their future. Many good people have lost jobs they toiled at for decades, with hopes of retirement, only to be laid off. Some are given token severance packages that are an insult to them, while others are forced to apply for unemployment or take low paying jobs, with no hope of retirement and no benefits. These people have been the backbone of our economy for years and are now forced to become a burden on it.

     "I am not among those who fear the people. They, and not the rich, are our dependence for continued freedom."

     However, I am predicting an uprising of the people in retaliation for this exploitation. What the corporate executives have not considered is that many Americans have been so dependant on them for jobs that a faux loyalty kept them subdued. People who may have been upset about things never spoke up for fear of losing their job.  By taking away these jobs, the corporations are waking a sleeping dog, a dog already agitated, one that has been muzzled for years afraid to bite the hand that fed it. The people no longer loyal to these corporations will rise up and take back control of the government, and demand restitution for the treasonous acts of the corporations as well as the government. Corporations will face extensive penalties for abandoning the American people, private enterprise and small business will once again prosper since the people will always be wary of the big corporations. The people will regulate the economy through fair representation and the offshore corporate weasels will be forced to deal fairly or not at all.

     "The people cannot be all, and always, well-informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty."

     It is time for all Americans to get involved in the new revolution, the revolution for government reform, for accountability and for change. The people must put aside their small differences and unite to effect change. The first order of business in this new revolution is the participation of the people in the process of government. The voice of the majority must shout loudly into the ear of our representatives that we will no longer tolerate their neglect. We must hold them all responsible and demand immediate reformation.

      "It was not expected in this age, that nations so honorably distinguished by their advances in science and civilization, would suddenly cast away the esteem they had merited from the world and, revolting from the empire of morality, assume a character in history which all the tears of their posterity will never wash from its pages."

     Over the last century the moral fiber of our society, the family unit and personal security have declined rapidly due to the manipulation of our government by these corporations. The voice of the lobbyist has replaced the voice of the citizen and our rights have been trampled on. Soon the globalization plans of these corporations will nullify our Constitution and our right to representation will be lost. We will be absorbed into the plan for a One World Government controlled by the wealthy and their corporate interests. No longer will we enjoy the liberties that our soldiers have fought and died for. Our borders will be open for all and terrorism will become much more prevalent. The standard of living for the average citizen in The United States Of America will equal that of third world countries and the rich will continue to get richer.

     Stand up America, and take back what is rightfully yours. Boycott the corporations that are abandoning you and show them how important you are to their bottom line. The small amount of discomfort you go through by giving up Hershey chocolate, or by driving a used car or getting your food from local growers is a small price to pay for your continued liberty.

     A peaceful revolution incorporating corporate boycotts and participation in the process of government through letter writing can be extremely effective if done by a united majority. It will be difficult and it will take time, but our resolve, our passion and conviction to regain control of the government will prevail.

     Tomorrow is the 18th of August, and the day we are all to mail our letters to our representatives. Initially, these letters were solely for the purpose of demanding the impeachment of the president and his entire cabinet. However, the importance of your participation in the process is so important, I urge you write a letter with ANY concern you may have and in fact even if you write a letter to praise your particular representative (there are a few good ones) it will help the cause by making our representatives aware of our voice. So please, get a letter together today and send it to all of your representatives. The intent is to overwhelm them with a massive outcry from the public and your letter is important. There are links provided to help you find the addresses of your representatives and I have even provided a form letter if you choose to use it.

     Nothing is more important than the preservation of our Constitutional rights and our liberty.

Company made money...NOW some Corporate big wigs are ruining the name... AND the product M.S. created... Please pass it on...What a bunch of college educated 'idiots'.
So Hershey executives are closing plants in the
US ,laying off over a thousand people, and destroying Mr. Hershey's dream, all to cut labor, material costs  and AVOID PAYING ANY US TAXES! The company will save about $170 million a year,  all on the backs of the American people. The top  executives will still make their mega bucks and the  laid off workers will have to find other jobs, some probably at minimum wage due to their age. All this to take their jobs to India, China and Mexico, So WHAT part of the 'GREAT' American Chocolate Bar is left?...NOTHING! These countries are no doubt laughing at the Americans, who they don't like anyway. How long are the American people going to sit around and let big corporations do this to us? We must all band together and let our Politicians in Washington know we have had it with NAFTA, CAFTA and 'SHAFTA' and we won't take it any longer!
Please, do not buy any Hershey product! I pulled EVERY dime of my stock, retirement and my HEART out of Hershey... (it does hurt me to say that). If the company wants to take the work to these countries, then let those countries buy the product. We don't need it!

     Hershey, as much a part of American society as baseball and apple pie is selling out on the citizens of this nation in the pursuit of more profit. Casting aside over a thousand dedicated workers that made them the corporation they are and spitting in the face of the American public who supported them for so long.

     "How soon the labor of men would make a paradise of the whole earth, were it not for misgovernment, and a diversion of all his energies from their proper object -- the happiness of man -- to the selfish interest of kings, nobles, and priests."    

     This got me to thinking about how many companies are relocating their operations to third world countries to exploit the citizens of that nation for as long as they can. Couple that with the outsourcing of so many call center jobs for the same reason, to exploit the people in order to increase profits, profits that promise high salaries and generous bonuses for corporate executives. What happened to "Made In The USA" and corporate pride for American made products? Corporate America is no longer American at all, they merely use our country as a shop to sell their goods at inflated prices, to people who now need their products like a junkie needs dope. Years of creative marketing coupled with devious manipulation of the economy through control of our government, has Americans addicted to technology, convenience and luxury. With our society firmly hooked, they no longer need public support, so they can move their production and take advantage of labor that costs much less and where they are not required to provide benefits or pay high taxes. This type of activity is common and should be expected to increase significantly over the next decade. It is all part of the corporate plan for globalization and a one world government which they can more easily manipulate.

     The citizens of this great republic have endured the oppression of a government manipulated by the corporations for too long. The needs of the people, unimportant to the corporations and apparently our own government, have been neglected. The dedicated labor of American workers made these corporations into giants and now they are being cast aside like yesterdays garbage. Their hard work and loyalty considered as unimportant as their future. Many good people have lost jobs they toiled at for decades, with hopes of retirement, only to be laid off. Some are given token severance packages that are an insult to them, while others are forced to apply for unemployment or take low paying jobs, with no hope of retirement and no benefits. These people have been the backbone of our economy for years and are now forced to become a burden on it.

     "I am not among those who fear the people. They, and not the rich, are our dependence for continued freedom."

     However, I am predicting an uprising of the people in retaliation for this exploitation. What the corporate executives have not considered is that many Americans have been so dependant on them for jobs that a faux loyalty kept them subdued. People who may have been upset about things never spoke up for fear of losing their job.  By taking away these jobs, the corporations are waking a sleeping dog, a dog already agitated, one that has been muzzled for years afraid to bite the hand that fed it. The people no longer loyal to these corporations will rise up and take back control of the government, and demand restitution for the treasonous acts of the corporations as well as the government. Corporations will face extensive penalties for abandoning the American people, private enterprise and small business will once again prosper since the people will always be wary of the big corporations. The people will regulate the economy through fair representation and the offshore corporate weasels will be forced to deal fairly or not at all.

     "The people cannot be all, and always, well-informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty."

     It is time for all Americans to get involved in the new revolution, the revolution for government reform, for accountability and for change. The people must put aside their small differences and unite to effect change. The first order of business in this new revolution is the participation of the people in the process of government. The voice of the majority must shout loudly into the ear of our representatives that we will no longer tolerate their neglect. We must hold them all responsible and demand immediate reformation.

      "It was not expected in this age, that nations so honorably distinguished by their advances in science and civilization, would suddenly cast away the esteem they had merited from the world and, revolting from the empire of morality, assume a character in history which all the tears of their posterity will never wash from its pages."

     Over the last century the moral fiber of our society, the family unit and personal security have declined rapidly due to the manipulation of our government by these corporations. The voice of the lobbyist has replaced the voice of the citizen and our rights have been trampled on. Soon the globalization plans of these corporations will nullify our Constitution and our right to representation will be lost. We will be absorbed into the plan for a One World Government controlled by the wealthy and their corporate interests. No longer will we enjoy the liberties that our soldiers have fought and died for. Our borders will be open for all and terrorism will become much more prevalent. The standard of living for the average citizen in The United States Of America will equal that of third world countries and the rich will continue to get richer.

     "To secure these [inalienable] rights [to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness], governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed... Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."

     Stand up America, and take back what is rightfully yours. Boycott the corporations that are abandoning you and show them how important you are to their bottom line. The small amount of discomfort you go through by giving up Hershey chocolate, or by driving a used car or getting your food from local growers is a small price to pay for your continued liberty.

     "Unless the mass retains sufficient control over those entrusted with the powers of their government, these will be perverted to their own oppression, and to the perpetuation of wealth and power in the individuals and their families selected for the trust."

     A peaceful revolution incorporating corporate boycotts and participation in the process of government through letter writing can be extremely effective if done by a united majority. It will be difficult and it will take time, but our resolve, our passion and conviction to regain control of the government will prevail.

     Tomorrow is the 18th of August, and the day we are all to mail our letters to our representatives. Initially, these letters were solely for the purpose of demanding the impeachment of the president and his entire cabinet. However, the importance of your participation in the process is so important, I urge you write a letter with ANY concern you may have and in fact even if you write a letter to praise your particular representative (there are a few good ones) it will help the cause by making our representatives aware of our voice. So please, get a letter together today and send it to all of your representatives. The intent is to overwhelm them with a massive outcry from the public and your letter is important.      Nothing is more important than the preservation of our Constitutional rights and our liberty.

So Do You Want To Be Represented, Or Not?

Since my blog yesterday I have been bombarded with messages informing me of how my campaign to impeach the president and his administration is a waste of time. They tell me how it is foolish and since the president only has a little more than a year left in office it would never happen. They are probably correct, but only because society lacks the passion and conviction necessary to become involved.

     I said before that this campaign doesn't have to be only about impeaching the president. It is an exercise in the utilization of our rights and responsibilities as a citizen. The letters you write do not have to demand impeachment, they can be about the issues which concern you, the issues you feel are important. The whole idea behind the campaign is to make our government aware of the growing concerns of the citizens, to make our voice heard, to be noticed.

     We will always disagree on issues, it is human nature, but we must agree on the fact that we are not being represented in government. Our representatives receive correspondence every day from their wealthy supporters and from corporate lobbyists, so those voices are the only ones they are hearing frequently enough to persuade them. We have been quiet for so long they have forgotten we exist, we have become insignificant due to our own lethargy.

     I read many blogs, liberal and conservative, and I know that the entire spectrum feels we lack proper representation. The issues and opinions on how to solve problems differ substantially, but all understand a need for better representation, accountability and the removal of the corrupt politicians.

     I ask you then, why can we not move as a majority to inform the government of our concerns? Why does partisan politics have to block our ability to exercise our most valuable right, the right to self government? How can any American, other than the very wealthy, corporate lobbyists or those already in government) not get involved in a campaign to effect change?

     Even if you are content, happy with the way things are going, you must have something you would like to see changed and made better. So you should write to your representatives and tell them about it. That is all I am asking people. You choose the cause, just write.

     The purpose of everything I do is to get the citizens of this country to wake up and take responsibility for the control of their government. It is as much a responsibility of citizenship as it is a right. Our government has evolved into one that no longer considers its citizens capable of governing themselves. We must work as one voice to correct this injustice first and foremost. Only through the participation of the masses can the trend be reversed, so I challenge you all, from the most extreme "libtard" to the "neocon's" on the far right, to get involved and write letters to your representatives and mail them on the 18th of August.

     We can continue to debate over our differences of opinion, we can even spew hate and discontent if you like. But only after we have made time to become involved in the process of government, for if not our opinion are nothing more than horseshit. Mere words spoken, unable to effect change, impotent babbling.

     Be heard America, speak out now through your letters to all of your representatives. They are the ones who need to hear your complaints, theories, concerns and even praise.

     I hope this has clarified the intent of my campaign and the necessity for everyone to become involved.

Join Me In The Agitation

Good evening my revolutionary friends, free thinkers and citizens of this great republic,

     The time has come for me to once again climb atop my soap box and vigorously encourage your passionate participation in the process of government. I have proposed a campaign of letter writing directed towards the impeachment of the president and his entire cabinet. Although it may be a high goal and one that is more than likely unattainable, it was more an exercise designed to gauge the potential for participation. At this point I am blind as to the potential outcome, but would realistically predict participation levels to be much less than required to effect change. However, there is still time and I will persist right up till the deadline.

     I cannot understand why any American would not participate in this campaign. They can spew their incoherent babble about the necessity of this war, but they cannot deny the mismanagement of it by this administration without being clearly and utterly ignorant. This war has cost us the lives of too many soldiers, too many civilians and it has created a financial burden we may never recover from (research our debt to China alone). There has never been a clear mission objective and no evidence has been provided to support the invasion of this sovereign nation. I agree that the world is better off without Saddam Hussein, but it would be better off without Castro, Kim Jung, Ahmedinijad, Chavez, Qhadafi and even Dick Cheney, but we are not, I hope, planning to attack all of them. No this war has always been about oil, money and business relationships, not national security. An opportunity was realized where certain corporations would benefit significantly and in turn so would members of this administration.  

     Now we are in a situation where pulling out too quickly would be a discredit to our troops. A swift withdrawal would be a disservice to them and a dishonor to those who have died for this cause. So they stay and they act as a police force for a country that will inevitably return chaos and anarchy and then be ruled by the force of a tyrant. The region is and has always been unstable due to the power of religious fundamentalism which always prevails. This fundamentalism is a way of life, taught from birth and enforced strictly throughout life. It can only be changed by the youth and only through rebellion against their elders, so it will not be changed.

     A clear and attainable mission objective must be given and our military must be given the latitude to do their job, and they will complete the mission, then we can bring them home and end this mess. Bing them home to defend the borders of THIS country so terrorists cannot enter. Without a clear objective, these very capable and honorable soldiers may be there for many years. This administration has failed our military by sending them into battle with outdated, unreliable equipment and giving them no clear mission objective, so even our soldiers should participate in this campaign.

     I will probably hear from some of the ignorant Limbaugh wannabes that I am unpatriotic and just as bad, or worse than the terrorists who attacked us. I expect that from these morons who have done nothing more than destroy the unity of our country with their censorship, propaganda and bigotry. In reality, these ultra right wing conservatives, by their believe it all, kiss the ass of the administration attitude and condescending and even threatening behavior, have caused society to be more polarized than ever in our history. "Divided We Fall". The greatest strength of our nation is unity. Certainly there will always be difference of opinion, it is necessary for debate and debate is necessary for compromise.

     "Is uniformity attainable? Millions of innocent men, women and children since the introduction of Christianity have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned, yet we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity."

     "That there should be a contrariety of opinions respecting the public agents and their measures,... is ever to be expected among free men."

     "Every man cannot have his way in all things. If his opinion prevails at some times, he should acquiesce on seeing that of others preponderate at other times. Without this mutual disposition we are disjointed individuals, but not a society."

     We are a very diverse society and this diversity has created a political polarization which is detrimental to our national security. With democrats moving far left and republicans moving far right the ability to effectively govern is lost to idealism.

     This can be considered a success for the terrorists since it is one of their most important goals. Through terrorism and propaganda these barbarians have accomplished something that even the Soviet Union during its most powerful years could not do. They have us fighting amongst ourselves and tearing apart our own government.

     Don't get me wrong, those who are too far left are also guilty of polarizing our society. The conspiracy theories have yet to be proven and so are nothing more than theories. But some would impeach merely based on these theories.

     "The moment a person forms a theory, his imagination sees, in every object, only the traits which favor that theory."

     I have researched at length and have not yet been presented with irrefutable evidence supporting these theories and so I cannot believe them or support he propagation of them. I will leave it to those with the knowledge, experience and resources to prove those theories if they can and until such time I will ignore them.

     "Truth will do well enough if left to shift for herself. She seldom has received much aid from the power of great men to whom she is rarely known and seldom welcome. She has no need of force to procure entrance into the minds of men."

     Scare tactics and sensationalism go a long way towards this polarization of our society, these tactics are unnecessary and only serve as another distraction from the known facts.

     America, it is time to wake up, unite and heal this out of control government. The problem is not complex, it is simple, we are not in control of our representatives. We have allowed the very wealthy and the corporations to gain control of our government and they are persuading legislation that is beneficial to them alone and detrimental to the majority in many cases. They are the perceived majority because they are the only voice being heard. WE MUST BE HEARD!

     The only way we can be heard is we get involved in the process of government again, as it was designed for us. The congress and senate are there to do the will of the majority, so we must become the majority. Your voice, your pen, is the only weapon you need to seize control of the government and put it back into the hands of the people. Stop hoping that things will change, and make them change, demand they change. It is your right, your most precious right and it is damn well time you started using it.

     Unite America for the cause of government control if nothing else. Stop letting the minority pass legislation that affects you.

     No matter how far right or how far left you are politically, you realize that you are not being properly represented. We can all agree that our representatives are all corrupt to some level, maybe not too bad, but corrupt just the same. We all know that lobbyists and wealthy campaign supporters are influencing legislation and we are being ignored. So why can't we agree on that in force and stand together to gain control and hold these representatives accountable? We can! All it takes is your frequent letters and phone calls demanding to be heard. If we all do this, we will be heard and things will change.

     Now I am all for a good debate, but fighting senselessly amongst ourselves while the wealthy and lobbyists reap the benefits is foolishness. There will always be time for our debates, for now we should be challenging them. Show them the power of a united American society.

     Or we can just keep right on with our fighting, just like they wan us to and we can surrender our liberty to them. We can accept the shackles of tyranny and be their puppets forever. It is up to us, for if we don't make a change soon our children will never experience liberty. The debts you owe to the government or the corporations will pass to them and their to their children and prosperity will be reserved for the aristocrats.

     I will continue my fight, I will not quit. I hope you can find some truth here that inspires you to pick up a pen, or print out a letter to your representatives. I hope it inspires you to inspire others and that a momentum begins. A momentum like a wave across this great land, gathering strength as it swells towards Washington, and finally crashing into the House of Representatives with the emotional force of a great tsunami.

A wave must start somewhere, so I will proudly be the one to begin the agitation of these murky waters we call government.
