Want to play at Artmosphere? Please follow these general guidelines:

Contact us with an email on MySpace.

Include the dates you  prefer to play in the subject line when applicable

Bands are expected to help promote gigs. Getting a write up / photo in the paper will go a long way to getting a good draw.  Continued booking for future gigs will depend on bands performance and ability to draw.

Music typically begins around 9:00 depending on the crowd. We ask that bands play until 2:00. Booking additional bands is welcomed and touring bands are encouraged to share the bill with a local band to improve draw. We serve food till 2 in the morning and often get a late rush.

Upon booking additional details such as pay, equipment needs etc will be sent with date confirmation.

About The Congre'Gation
The Congre'Gation is a band made up of several other projects which forms the ultimate alliance of HipHop Funk and Soul music. In this project there are 4 members of Cosmic 7(Wyzdom360, Johnny Rockin:Bass and Guitar, Erica Fox, Lifeone), the drummer from The Transmission (Jim Nobles), the keyboardist from Matt Rock and the Power Box(Clint Rhodes), M.Harris from his self titled endeavor, as well as The Detectives(Tommy Toast aka Mike King:also in the Botanist and Good Captain, & Andino), and Horn players Richelle Oliver(in the Botanist with Mike King as well as Screams of Triumph) and Charles Garrick rounding it all out...There are many links between all these friends who've become band mates, but nothing unites them more than the music that they play... The subject matter ranges from Love & LIberation to Protetion and P-Funkin' it out...Our songs are the voice of our soul...I know you can feel that...

Feel at Home Going Out

Nestled among its downtown neighbors you will find a cozy little place, Artmosphere.

This old home welcomes you with 2 full service bars, live entertainment 7 days a week, and a kitchen open until 2 AM. Making the trip to Artmosphere is like going out without leaving the comforts of home.

The most recent additions to Lafayettes most intimate venue are the Indian inspired hookahs with bowls full of imported flavored tobaccos. Another amenity is wireless internet making Artmosphere the perfect spot between classes or a break from work.

Every day of the week brings something special at Artmosphere. Monday features Service Industry Night with 2 for 1 on all drinks when presenting a bar card with Jason Harrington providing music. Tuesdays everyone is invited to songwriters night with $3 doubles. The week rounds out with 6 for $12 Buckets of Bud, 2 for 1 martinis including Feta Cheese stuffed olive martinis on Thurs.  and Fri Happy hour.

Artmosphere has hosted some of Lafayettes finest such as Harry Big Daddy Hippolite, David Egan, Danny Devillier's 54321 Sessions, Jason Harrington, LAngelus and Michael Juan Nunez. You can also count on out of town talents like Giant Bear, Henry Gray and Lake Charles best kept secret child prodigy Breanne Fye whose regular appearances make for a laid back easy vibe that is well worth the outing.

The frozen chocolate martinis are a favorite as well as the gourmet pizzas. Eveything is made from scratch using fresh herbs from the garden. During the summer, hang out and sip a fresh picked mint mojito on the deck. For a more secluded retreat, hang out on the Zen Den back deck surrounded by greenery and an oriental influence.

Step into the candle lit gallery where numerous local artist have work displayed that are available for purchase. Heidi Forman's works including fabulous nudes are quick movers as well as mystic works by Brandon Faulk which hang near the front entrance.

Whether you are eight or eighty, there is something for you at Artmosphere. Come out to Lafayettes best kept secret Artmosphere. Where you can feel at home going out.
