One of our AOL members has  shared with us a wonderful experience at the Bangalore Ashram. 
The members of the Kerala Apex Body got an appointment to meet Guruji on 30th May to discuss about Gurudev... 
Actually the balls they saw were liberated souls- those who have no rebirth. "Chiranjeevis". Since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, the energy of the liberated souls remains as such and they had come to take part and Bless those participating in the Silver Jubilee function.
Everybody could only feel Blessed to have had the opportunity to see this video.

Getting rid of stress
Current mood: blank

 How do you get rid of stress? How can you be tension free?

Look at tension. Isn't it about what happened yesterday or the day before? Ten years ago? You're holding onto the past, which has gone! All your anger is about the past, isn't it? Can you get the past back?

At any moment, see what your mind is doing. It is going into the past... It is angry about the past or anxious about the future, isn't it?

Do you remember the 10 years ago? Just look back and see. Weren't you anxious? Five years ago, weren't you anxious? ... What will happen? .. But you have moved through life haven't you?

By looking at your own life, you can see it was useless to be anxious about the future: "What will happen?" - its a waste of time, a waste of energy.

When this oscillation of the mind stops, THAT is when you get in touch with the source of energy, which is YOU.

Live in the moment. NOW!

The Art of Living Silver Jubilee Celebrations

Message from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar:

"The whole world belongs to you. But man identifies himself with his profession, religion, culture, nationality, language, region or sex and, maybe, as a human being. People today are stuck in religious practices, symbols & customs, and have forgotten the spiritual core - human values of compassion, friendliness, co-operation, peace of mind, joy and a smile that is not fragile!

In a society plagued with domestic and communal violence, we need to globalize wisdom. Though we have advanced technologically, we have cared very little for the emotional and spiritual needs of people. A sense of belongingness with the whole world - rising above the narrow considerations of colour, culture or background, is the need of the hour. We are not living in isolated compartments - the world has become one family.

As a major initiative towards globalizing wisdom and fostering human values, we are hosting a three-day International Conference on Human Values from the 17 th -19 th of February, 2006.

This conference is a wonderful occasion for all leaders of society who are concerned about terrorism and fundamentalism. We need to look back and learn from the mistakes of the past; we need to understand what is lacking in society and how we can nurture the human values without which this earth cannot be sustained.

Knowledge and spiritual awareness should go hand in hand with social and political systems. I think religious leaders, political leaders, business establishments and social workers should get together and spread the message of unity. All religions and traditions have a common value system. These shared values have to reach every corner of the world. Even if one pocket of the world remains ignorant of these values, the world will not be a safe place. I often say religion is the banana skin and spirituality is the banana. The misery in the world is because we throw away the banana and are holding on to the skin.

I hope this conference will reinforce the vision of a one world family ".

Desires

Desire kills joy yet the goal of all desires is joy. Whenever happiness has disappeared from your life, look deep within you and you will see it is because of desire.

Yet all that we desire is happiness. No creature desiring unhappiness is ever born; never has it happened before and never will it happen in the future.

When your small mind gets tired of running here and there, of wandering everywhere, it reaches the conclusion, "My desires have killed my happiness."
