Venus in NYC / Amsterdam

Venus here,
Late last night, (actually 6am this morning,) We just finished a weekend of recording with our producer: Barb Morrison, and her biz partner Chaz. (Their website)...we're now 4 songs into the new CD.

Tonight, I'll be performing a small solo performance at CB's Gallery for 'Alchemy' (Monday the 16th...set is 11:00 pm..half hr. ...solo set!...yikes!..(just me and my electric guitar...;) )...I'm thinking of about 6 songs...mostly the quieter ones, but emotional ones...some from RUIN, and some from CREATURE...and I plan to do a few brand new ones...(got two of those in mind,)..I'll kind of play it by ear tonight.
--Please come if you can...and sit up closer to the stage...it's going to be very intimate...(I know ...no sparks from the grinder, or water / scotch, flying around the stage :(...but I'm hoping you'll like it anyway.)
--The next day I'll be flying to Amsterdam for another short solo performance at a place called: 'Aknaton' on the 19th, for the opening party for their 'International Transgender Film Festival, where 'Venus of Mars' by Emily Goldberg will be screening...(go to: www.venusofmars.com for more info and links under the 'screenings' page.)

The program is hosted by Ru Paul, will have a 10-minute piece about Venus Of Mars featuring an interview with Director Emily Goldberg this week(tomorrow and Thursday to be specific).
