4:53 PM - Alien abduction?

To those of you who have been wondering where i have been all summer, first off, I've been doing fine, in fact really well but extremely busy with no free time.
Late this past spring I bought a home out in the country, and shortly before that my daughter moved in with me. since we moved all of my free time has been devoted to necessary repairs, renovations and preparing for this coming winter; still a lot to go but I have made a lot of progress.
I am very happy with the new home, it's peaceful and and I have space to do what I want without bothering anyone. best of all, I am not wasting money on rent and having to listen to the nabours fight 24-7 like I did before.
I should be back here on myspace a little more often as winter sets in and the projects slow down.

The political series, edition 4, -- 3rd video.
Hillary Clinton's misleading claims in her recent campaign tactics are really starting to piss me off; they are reducing the chance of a democratic win in the general election and unless she is willing to change her campaign tactics, she should due the democratic party a favor and concede.
I am disappointed in her; I thought that she would at least try to compete with Barack Obama with statements baaed on truth.

The political series, edition 3, second video.
Here we are with only 2 days until l the 2 most important states have there primarys for the Democratic party, and no one has a clue as to how it will end. this is what I see of what has happened so far.
For many years I have been watching with disappointment as our country falls apart socially, economically and environmentally, as a direct result of a profound lack of integrity in Washington and many others working in the rest of our political system. now for the first time in these many years I feel that there is a viable candidate with a true commitment to reinstate the integrity our government so desperately needs now, and who is committed to do his best to set things right in a progressive manner appropriate for this point in history with an aim to benefit the majority of our nation both now and more importantly for our children in the near future and beyond. It is for this reason that I strongly support Barack Obama.
While I am not sure of where to find verifiable records on this, I have seen where several people mentioned that the records show that despite Barack Obama's rather short political history, the number of meaningful bills submitted singularly and cosponsored far exceeds by a long shot, anything that Hillary Clinton has done in her carrier.
Speaking of Hillary's record, this is not the first time that she has tried ti ride the promise of universal health care, she used the same promise to help her husbands campaign when He ran, and her efforts to enact her health care plans failed miserably. within the course of the first year she was run into the ground and silenced on the matter. while there is more public support for the issue now than then, I still don't believe that she has what it would take, to make it work. further more I don't like the way her plan is described, and I understand it right it is not something that I would want to see passed; we need the option of health care we all can afford, not a government mandate to support the health insurance corporations. A mandate for every person to purchase health insurance, even if some assistance is provided to low income families, really makes me question which side she is really on? how many low income families will fall through the cracks; forced to pay for health insurance, and not left with enough remaining funds to actually live on, to pay for food and rent.
I firmly believe that we need a better choice, not a mandate!
The democratic caucus for the Bangor region will also be held at the Bangor Auditorium on the 10th.
Bangor Auditorium 100 Dutton Street Bangor, ME 04401
Saturday, February 9 Doors Open: 2:30 p.m.
I also have heard that Hillary Clinton will be speaking somewhere in Orono this Saturday, February 9th in the early morning.
Personally I think that Barack Obama is a much better choice than Hillary Clinton. I feel that Hillary Clinton has too many close ties to corporate interests to freely work in the best interest of working class Americans to the extent that Barack Obama appears to have dedicated himself to. As I understand it from what I have read and heard through knowledgeable acquaintances, Barack Obama's history is much cleaner, and it's record backs the intentions he speaks about in his campaign.
We truly need a change from this disasterus path we have been on lately and out of the running candidates on all sides, I feel that Barack Obama's intentions most closely match what this country currently needs most.

The political series, edition two, first video.
This is a very late continuation of the political series I started with "State of the Union, or lack there of" on 07/28/2007. Life happens an it took a while before I could get back to this, and as I am rather busy and we are now in the heat of the political season I have changed the plans for this a bit; this is about a 20 minute video of a detailed view of my opinions on the presidential candidates and some of the important issues they will need to address to improve the state of our country.
I really wanted to get this working before supper Tuesday, but this turned out to be more problematic than I thought it would be, but I like the format and will attempt to work the bugs out for the next addition.
Even though I did finally get the video converted to a usable format on my own, I want to thank Joko Joko for offering to help; I seriously thought I was going to need it to get this posted correctly.

Ugg! This cat's sick as a dog today and here we are getting hit with another 12 inches of snow that I need to clear the yard of. we have already had over 50 inches so far this year! thank god we had a week of melt down or I'd have no place to put it all.
Speaking of melt downs some of you have noticed that I haven't been around lately; actually I have been doing fine except a legal hassle with the landlord and being sick. I had a really good holiday with my family in the end of 2007, but new years really started off on the wrong foot in other matters; but it is starting to look better now. All in all I just need some time to get caught up on local life before it all gets out of hand as usual I have too many projects going at once and more on the horizon.
Hopefully soon I can get back here and pay my good friends a long over due visit. I am also looking forward to continuing one of my blog subjects in a new format, more on that soon.
