Hays, Denver, Pueblo + The Warped Tour...

It has been 6 months since we have rocked a local show in Hays. It was worth the wait. We had a kick ass time the house was packed and the crowd was energetic! Our merch guy Rob ran around in a pink gorilla suit and tore that shit up. That show definately revived our faith in our local fans. thanks guys.

The next day we drove off to Denver for a show at The Toad Tavern in Littleton. It was a great time and a tight joint. That was a very cool place we hope to be back soon....

For our second Colorado installment we headed south to Pueblo for our second show at the Green Light Tavern. We kicked it with the KnightBeats and had a hell of a show, thanks for your support Pueblo, our base is growing...

Well were off for some r&r for a couple weeks, we just got the news that we were accepted to perform at the Kevin Says Stage at The Warped Tour in Bonner Springs, KS! Cool right?

Were pumped. Many of us are long time Warped Tour attendees so this is a dream come true.

Its not quite the main stage, but you have to play the 3rd stage before you play the 1st stage,

Warrensburg, Manhattan, + Topeka
Current mood: rejuvenated
Category: Music

We had a great time at The 400 w/ Pat Lentz and the Fundamental Elements. We met a ton of cool people and cant wait to be back, despite the fact that when we went to move the van to unload...it wouldn't start. We thought the starter was out and we were screwed. The cost of gas nowadays doesnt allow for extra $$$ to fix broken car parts. But it turns out a few hours later it started right up and has been fine ever since. The 85 piece of shit wont last long so were in for a new van soon.
The next afternoon we headed to the Kathouse in Manhattan. It was raining for the Kathouse Summer jam fest so the crowd was light. It was also the downtown beer olympics so there was nothing but crazy loud frat guys tearing that shit up. they were having a good time so that kept our spirits up. Our set was 5-6 so right after the show we had to book it to Topeka to perform a couple hours later.

The Topeka show was interesting. The boobie trap is always a packed house. We performed with two local hip hop groups Team Young Lions and Los Blos. They were both talented and kept the crowd going. We just couldn't wait to get home for some R&R. Were off until Wednesday, for a local show. Were excited to play in Hays again its been 6 months. Weve got a few things in store for the old crew.

Then its Colorado.......

KC + Cedar Falls

The Studio in KC was a great venue. We had a kick ass show and had a few friends drive down and visit us from Lenexa. Jerry's Bait Shop fans are awesome. We ended up going back to their place after the show and partying until the sun came up.... That in turn made the 5 hour drive to Cedar Falls, IA a drag. We were all hungover and crabby.

When we got to The Reverb the venue was dead. no one there..... We actually started the set with not a single soul in the room. By the end of the set there were a few bodies who enjoyed the music and Jared's dirty jokes and stories from the night before.

After these two days were definitely looking forward to the end of the week. We cant wait to get over to the Kathouse to play for some familiar faces.

Tonight were at the 400 in Warrensburg, MO to rock with Pat Lentz from KC. It should be a sweet ass time and i know were all dying for the barbeque.

see you soon,

iChannel + STL

We started off Tuesday driving over to STL to do an iCoustix on iChannel.fm. We had a great time hanging with Rider and Ken over there. Thanks a ton for all of your support. We ended up recording acoustic versions of "Look Ahead", "Confide in the Mic", and "The First Time". Those will be posted on Sunday at www.ichannel.fm

We got to hang in the studio and do a live on-air interview to talk about the tour, the new record coming out and other fascinating topics concerning Audio Spaghetti. It was great.

After iChannel we rushed over to Cicero's to rock with 54 seconds from Austin. I must say i was impressed with their bass player, ive never seen a girl play the funk slap bass. wow. They also had great pizza.

It was an okay night, we all had fun and were off to play The Studio Downtown in KC tonight and Cedar Falls on Thursday.

Hope to see everyone soon,

St. Joe + Lenexa
Category: Music

We started off this run with a long drive to St Joseph MO-it took forever, but we finally arrived downtown at the Rendezvous. It turns out we played two sets because the opener cancelled. There was a slim crowd but everyone there was up on their feet having a great time. thanks all for keeping it real and rocking with us...

We ended up staying with Jared's sister in downtown KC- thank god for Wii otherwise we would be bored out of our minds. i think now were all officially addicted to Mario Kart.

Last night we rocked in Lenexa at Jerry's Bait Shop and had an awesome time. The first thing we had to do after load in was get a pizza, we rocked that shark attack pizza faster than an 8O's metal hair band, it was delicious. There are some cool cats there, we hope to see all of you again soon. fa sho.

Today is Cinco de Mayo and our day off. were going to party it up and get ready for iChannel and Cicero's in St Louis tomorrow. There will be plenty of more tales to tell so stay tuned .....

Wacko night in Lincoln + Jareds dare....
Current mood: crunk
Category: Music

We all just woke up on the couch, (or at least Kyle and I are up. Jared’s still on the couch passed out with his laptop and Jake is down in the dungeon on a stinky mattress passed out.) Were in the home of the Incredible Heat Machine/JV Allstars. And I’m remembering our wacko night in Lincoln and at Duffy’s last night....We had a great time first of all thanks for everyone who came out and made it possible. Mr Jared Miller was dared to climb a 10 foot ladder and jump over a fence for a beer...so of course, he can back down to any dare (who can?) So he spider-manned up the ladder, made the incredible leap of faith and landed an the rocks below, suffering only minor internal injuries. Go jared!

We also had the opportunity to meet and receive a round of beers from the notorious NOBS Buttons guy, who has been making our buttons out of Lincoln for years now. We finally met in person, and he was fun.

After all the music and whiskey at the bar, there was more music and whiskey at Nicks house from IHM + JV Allstars. Ska music whiskey and Wii, what else do you need after a show? Jesus, we were up until 7 am.

The sun is rising, the place is trashed and were off to Manhattan to perform w/ Steve Ewing + Ruskabank. Thanks Nick, Karissa, Dub, and the rest of the gang for letting us kick it. We had a great time.
