Back from coachella hell

So I'm back from my tour of duty at coachella and stagecoach out in the Indio desert...I made some good money but it was long fuckin' hours and sometimes a lot of bullshit but everyone involved in the production kicked ass and we had a good show...I met a lot of new people out there both in the prod. and just seeing the shows...lindsey lohan can suck my left nut for being such a cuntrag at the lcd soundsystem set...her and her bodyguard plus a 7 person entourage tried to break through a security guard, who wasn't doing a very good job at all, while we had locked down the stage so i stepped in to kick her out after about a ten minute ordeal, which almost escalated into a fist fight between the bodyguard and i, i had the stagemanager come and smooth things over...other than that and numerous arguments with csc security guards there really wasn't too much excitement at the shows, at least on the sahara stage...it also looks like i might have a job with rat sound, which is something i've been trying to get for a while, i really impressed ronnie kimball and john munson so they are going to hook me up with a job...you peeps my see me out with the warped tour this summer as a system engineer...i'll keep you posted on that front as soon as i talk to ronnie on monday

To course across more kindly waters now my talent's little vessel lifts her sails,

so i've done it i've begun to dismantle. this recent expanse of suedo-unemployment has given me the chance to really reflect which i haven't given myself a proper chance to in almost 6 months. like many of us i do my best thinking and writing late at night when the world seems to stop spinning. i know the world never stops spinning but on a clear rainy night it almost seems that way. well so i've had this melancholy loathing lately a little more than normal and i've begun to cherish it but i still don't really understand it completely. i guess it's from this hatred i've harbored insided for a bit of some people that have passed through my life. some of it was for people that are no longer in my life, some was for people i wish wouldn't be in my life anymore, and some is for the people i can't avoid having in my life for the time being. i normally don't like being angry for any extended period of time it serves no purpose and stresses me out. but i still can't help but get angry at some things that have happend to me in the recent past. these things i won't get into on this pointless website. suffice it to say that it has caused a permament change in the way i view my universe. i feel like i need to go out and do something heroic or something that people, strangers and friends alike, would all come together and say "yeah that's really awesome." but i don't think that that would ever happen. i maybe expect too much for being as young as i am, but i ask why shouldn't i? who says that i shouldn't want that for myself and if they do i say fuck you and the whore you rode in on. i am a force to be reckoned with. i only ask for my chance. i sit here drinking the last of my self-imported jaegermeister doing some reflecting on the nature of this collection of random events i call my life. i'm not sure what i pretend to accomplish by putting these thoughts out into the universes. i feel so helpless now and i'm not sure why. maybe it's that i'm putting a bit of my naked self out into the world for people to view and scrutinize. or maybe that no matter what i do in my life it compares not with the pain and destruction and monstrosities carried out in the rest of the planet. this shit is getting out of hand and nothing is going to stop this downward spiral of destruction that we all feed on. people don't care about good whole things they only care about who is killing who or who is on what drug and the next american idol. i say fuck you all of you in this world and that goes for me to because i'm part of it and there is nothing i can do to stop it. the days are long gone of one man making a difference it's the corporations that run us now that's why you see only a handfull of people protesting out on a handfull of corners around the globe. because it doesn't fucking matter anymore they aren't going to fix it. we are in the new form of facism now. and it is isn't a person controlling our country it is an idea, an idea based upon fear. and unless we wake up and realize what is really going on we cannot hope to defeat it. there isn't a constant threat of terrorist attacks against this country that is only fear talking. Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." and that is still true today. we as a people and as a country need to realize the true priorities of being alive and that isn't whether or not someone has a w.m.d. it is when is the planet going to go belly up because of the amount of toxins we are putting out into the air and water and earth. i just wish that more people would realize that we are all in this together and it isn't everyone for themselves. we are destroying ourselves and the world we are leaving for future generations. the sun is starting to come up over the horizon and it still one of the only pieces of beauty that is seen only once and is never to be seen again.
