I would like to thank everyone who attended the last benefit at Ruta Maya, it was a smashing success! There was just over $2000.00 raised and I must say it was a truly magical forest event.
I have met with my electrician and am shopping for wire, and weather proof outlets, boxes, rated for outdoor use. And have been informed that the permit for commercial is $700.00 so we will wait a bit before that one. I will be posting the fund raised and funds spent on the Austin Enchanted Forest web site this week so everyone can see whats going on as well as any new developments, workdays, and planning specific meetings. Let all those who didn't get the chance to come by last week, to get ready for another beautiful evening of music ,dance and performance this Thursday the 21st. Thanks to all the performers and organizers, I could not and can not do it without you.

city task force meeting july 21

the cirty of austin music task force is having a meeting to deal with community concerns over live music and music venues. this is a opportune time for me to voice my dismay over the closing of the forest and denying our right of assembly at the forest. if you are as upset over this as i am please come and join me on monday july 21 at 7mp at 3708 woodbury dr. spread the word and let the city know you are not happy with the decision to close the forest. let the voice of our family be heard. albert
