You would have thought I'd've learned to be more careful by now, but there are times when I think I need adult supervision.

My recent catalogue of disasters includes:

Dunking my cordless kettle in water - then trying to boil it, and blowing the circuit breaker for the ground floor. I'm such a dizzy female.

Breaking my television, although I'm not sure how that happened.

Breaking my ironing board by leaning on it, and subsequently bringing my head into close contact with my worktop surface - ouch!!!

Trying to record a DVD film on my computer, but having no success. After much swearing and stomping around, I realised that I hadn't actually put a blank DVD into the drive - god, I can be so absent minded at times.
