Beginning at 6:00 AM on September 20, 2008, we need able bodied people to help set up canopies, security fencing, vending spaces, and the stage.
Beginning at 11:00 AM until the end of the show we need people to help sell Mass Cann merchandise and recruit new members. Beginning at 4:00 PM until the park is clean we need people to pick up litter, dispense small trash bags to attendees and urge them to clean-up the space around them.
Beginning at 5:15 PM able bodied people are needed to breakdown canopies, security fencing, and the stage and load truck(s). The Rally runs on volunteers.
Please think about giving us a couple of hours (and of course more if possible).

Word on the street, is our 2008 MassCann/NORML Boston Freedom Rally headliners, GRAVEYARD BBQ, just signed a major label deal with UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP? Any truth to that BRIXX or you just having some fun on the internets again? Haha. But congrats to BBQ, either way!
GRAVEYARD BBQ is holding a video shoot and asking for BBQ Nation to assemble at 2PM in Waltham on August 24th. Be there if you want to be part of BBQ Nation history.
Also check out the Wally's show, with our two Freedom Rally co-headliners, GRAVEYARD BBQ and PROSPECT HILL. Not a MassCann/NORML benefit show but it features two of our biggest supporting music acts, our friends.

I'm an intern at StoptheDrugWar. org and in the process of organizing volunteers for StoptheDrugWar. org, NORML, and Students for Sensible Drug Policy at Seattle Hempfest this weekend. We are looking for people willing to scatter across the crowd of 100,000+ like-minded individuals to gather names for the respective e-mail lists. We are hoping to have as many people as possible on Saturday and Sunday between the peak hours of noon til 6 PM. If anyone thinks they would be able to donate a couple of to such worthy causes feel free to shoot me an e-mail at Devine@drcnet.org and I can fill you in on the logistics. Ofcoarse if you know anyone going to Hempfest that might be able to volunteer pass the word along.
