So I am very happy to say that Sarah McLachlan has put out a new single and finally I HATE IT. The queen of repackaging old songs and versions of old songs and versions of other people's songs is at it again releasing a greatest hits album...but this time maybe somebody told her "Look Lady, seriously, we're not releasing another fucking compilation. WRITE A FUCKING SONG! IT IS YOUR FUCKING JOB!"

So she did, two in fact. But my how clear it has become that she does not at all like to write songs. (Repackaging your old shit is actually pretty brilliant, if you in fact do not like to write songs and you already have a bunch of them that people will for some reason buy repeatedly. Shrug.)This single, "U Want Me 2", is fucking terrible.

First of all, what is this Prince-letters-and-numbers horseshit? Seriously? That aside it is still a terrible title. Not having heard the song one would have no idea what the hell she's trying to say...and even after having heard it I personally am still a bit cloudy.

Also, bitch has not even bothered to put together rhyming words. Not even pretty words. It's maybe lyrically the worst thing I have ever heard. I'm telling you this song is stupid. As for the music I'm pretty sure like, fucking James Taylor or somebody may have written this a hundred years ago. You know, maybe in rehab. Actually I'm pretty sure I've heard it the dentist's office.

I'm certain next time I hear it I'll prolly start liking it...I always do. I hate myself and want to die.

I hate the internet.  I hate the internet because every goddamned half-formed, ill-conceived idea that every goddamned person with a computer ever has is right there for me to scorn.  Video diaries?  Really?  If the people you see every day don't want to hear your stupid shit, why the fuck would anyone else?

Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch...You might say, "Why Beast, is that not what you are doing just now?"  Sure is, and because I am admittedly quite lazy I'll tell you this --Bitching does not make you a great thinker.  It simply means you are unambitious. 

So if we're all going to continue blogging, and we are, I like to say just a few more things...

      1.  Remember when we were all in high school and we all used to say "Why do I need to memorize all this bullshit?"  Now, think of your opinions.  Did you read them somewhere?

      2.  Being bitter does not necessarily make you funny.  Being funny does not necessarily make you smart.

      3.  You have been disserviced by your education.  Think.  Critically.

      4.  Final point:  NO ONE likes the Bush administration.  Put the stick down, walk away from the horse.

if you happen to be a officer of the law and you are going to pull someone over for driving under the influence of alcohol, and you are also going to insist you can just smell the stench of alcohol spewing from the vehicle you are pulling over...well then, you should at least have the foggiest hint that the people you are pulling over might possibly be even the slightest bit intoxicated.
