Today is an important day in music history...History in general! Today I ask... all who love, support and feel, think and agree with all John Lennon stands for; to CELEBRATE his LIFE! Do not dwell on the circumstance which caused this day of rememberance, but concentrate on all John has done for the world, for all who believe in peace and love!

Our world CAN be a better place... SO- apply all your "Lennonish" behaviour, beliefs and compassion and turn this world around; "Across the Universe"!!

I Just Got Tagged

1- I'm a lot older than people think.

2- I love punk, funk, local, garage and grunge bands.

3- I can be really annoying at times as I tend to talk too much... So,  people basically tune me out when I get on their nerves.

4- I used to play bass in the Orchestra while attending an all girls Catholic High.

5- I played badmitton and was on the bowling team in 9th grade.

6- I'm a total Beatlemaniac and collector of rarities and vinyl.

7- I'm an Independent Journalist for a local music magazine in Philly.

8- I was crushed against a fence- front row... during The Who Concert in the early 80's at JFK Stadium. I was on Channel 6 news.

9- I play bass guitar (an Ibanez)  and suck really bad. I try, hey. I'm working on critiquing my method and I've actually been begging Brian from Silvertide to give me lessons to get back up to par.

10- I published a book in 2006 and if I had a nickel for every person that said they'd buy one; I'd be reallllly rich!

I am Tagging:

1- Jules- because I know she'll go for it + She's my neice and I luv hearing from her.

2- Jaxon- Because he never messages me back!! So we'll see?

3- Melba- cause she posts really cool stuff on her site and always remembers to stop by; even when I forget.

4- Reverend Greg- cause I never know what he's up to!? I'm always up for a surprise- plus he's so freakin' retro!!

5- Silvertide- (particularly Brian) so I can beg bass lessons... Plus- need to chat about lots of stuff.. Nice bunch o' nuts!

6- Matt(D-CA)- cause he's such a great friend and we share so many of the same views on life.

7- The Talismen- Beacuse they are always there for me through thick and thin; from day one... here @ myspace.

8- Tommy Weir- cause he's one of the best friends I have in the UK and enjoy chatting with the younger generation... always posts great shit!

9- Shovelhook- because we share lots and it's time we've chatted... been a while...

10- Dana- because my great nephew is due any day and I need to have a look at her awesome sonagram... and really excited... she'll be thrilled as well...It'll help pass the time while she's waiting for the new baby to arrive.

Sad to say, I was 80th voter at the polls in my neighborhood, 2PM today!

STILL TIME...Most polling places are in walking distance... Find a ride, ask a friend, whatever...
