this is video of the new hampshire primary officials. the secretary of state has no explanation why the ballot boxes are not going into the locked vault. by law, the state of new hampshire requires the sealed ballot boxes to be locked in a secure vault over night.
that is a link to the library of congress. there you can read about this law that enables a secret commission to hire mercenaries to enforce a zero tolerance policy on people speaking out against the US government. this is another vaguely defined law that allows the government to prosecute anyone that they mark as a threat. unfortunately, this has passed the house, but the senate is still set to vote on it. please contact your senator and tell him to vote against this bill.
this piece of legislation uses international law as a standard for developing a "National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicaliztion and Idealogically Based Violence" to hold hearings and "enter into contracts to enable the Commission to discharge its duties under this section."
have you heard of blackwater? these contract mercenaries would be hired to do this committee's work of enforcing this assault on our freedom of speech.
the committee can "request directly from any executive department, bureau, agency, board, commission, office, independent establishment, or instrumentality of the Government, information, suggestions, estimates, and statistics for the purposes of this section."
independent establishment's are private businesses, so there will be no line of privacy.
the commission's meetings are to be public, but "any public hearings of the Commission shall be conducted in a manner consistent with the protection of information provided to or developed for or by the Commission as required by any applicable statute, regulation, or Executive order including subsection (i)(2)(B)."
what is the use of public meetings if the commission gets to determine what is appropriate to keep secret?
Zogby Poll: Giuliani Leads Among Republicans in Latest Blind Bio Survey
that link will take you to this headline for a zogby poll that alex jones paid for. this is a perfect example of people being against Ron Paul and spinning everything away from him. tell me how that headline makes sense with this being the final paragraph of the story:
The blind bio question was also posed to a larger pool of 1,009 likely voters nationwide, including Democrats and independents, and Paul was the big winner among that universe of voters, winning 33%, compared to 19% for Giuliani, 15% for Romney, and 13% for Thompson.
Ron Paul is the only republican candidate with a chance to beat hillary in the national election, and why isn't that in the headline?

everyone wants to label Ron Paul as this "fringe" candidate. well, he has fought his way into the mainstream, and his message of returning america to freedom has caught on with many people. the attacks have begun with glen beck on CNN labeling ron paul supporters as "domestic terrorists." this is ridiculous, and when has supporting the constitution and believing in freedom ever been an act of terror?
this article has a link to the video on youtube along with many other examples of media outlets trashing people that aren't satisfied with where our government is headed.
rado and i hung out and had one of those nights talking that you only get when rado is your best friend. you get to walk away knowing that something real just happened between the two of you.
after that, i went and met up with the jonezetta boys and we had some more good talks.
it's amazing how good it feels to know that you are absolutely loved back. connecting with people like that is so rare for me. i hate this about myself, but i have the hardest time accepting that people really care about me. i'm still not sure why, but i'm trying to work it out.
anyway, these nights are so encouraging. it's so good to talk with dudes that really understand what's going on with you. they inspire me and remind me that even though there are hard parts in this life, it's worth pressing through them to get to a better place. i hope.
i believe in what i'm doing with the glorious unseen. i believe that we can lead people to genuine encounters with god's spirit, and i believe that those encounters will really change them.
i don't want the glorious unseen to fail, but i feel ignorant and unable to figure out what is next. i don't know how to proceed, and i don't know who to ask for help. i feel lost and overwhelmed, but i can't stop believing that this is what i've been waiting for.
despite the dramatic title of this documentary, alex jones presents a lot of excellent evidence documenting the slide into a global government. don't call this a conspiracy theory until you've read about this stuff.

those are just a few things that i've been looking into lately. this stuff is happening all around us, and it's about time that people start noticing.
after detroit, we hit montreal and toronto. these are both really great cities, and again, canada came through on supporting all of the bands. people in canada just love to buy shirts and cd's, and that is a blessing.
i didn't get to see much of either city, but the weather was hot, humid, and overcast.
after the show in toronto last night, we drove to niagra falls. we're still on the canadian side, but i'm about to go get some food and then see the falls. pictures soon. after that, we head for new england and seeing some good friends.

i've been a lot of places in the last month, and i haven't been very good about posting thoughts on such places. i've visited some most excellent friends, and that was definitely the best part.
we left on september 11th for seven weeks, and we're about halfway through. the shows have not been very big at all, but we are still getting in front of more people than we would if we just showed up for a show.
one of the biggest lowlights was victoria, british columbia. everyone talked this place up quite a bit about how beautiful it was. it was beautiful, but the people of victoria are not cool at all. in fact, they're kinda douche bags. maybe i was just stuck dealing with all of the drunk 19 year old kids, but it made me glad that you have to be 21 to publicly consume alcohol in the states.
i got to see sara w. again in denver, and i've decided that denver is high on the list of places that i would like to live. i hung out with sara's friends kinsey and andy, and they are good people. they very much add to the goodness of denver.
then, we headed northeast to minneapolis, mn where i got to hang with boone, ryan, and quinn. it was a blast getting to hang out with those dudes, and i also really like minneapolis. not a lot of dancers, but full of good people [that buy cd's and t-shirts].
between mn and chicago, we stopped to fill up, and we met another band at the same gas station. they are called ha ha tonka, and i check them out on myspace, http://www.myspace.com/hahatonka. they are pretty freaking sweet, and you should check them out if you like alt/country stuff.
today, i am in my best friend's home state, michigan. so, in honor of him, i am wearing his t-shirt. my camera is dead, so i can't take a picture yet, but it says, "i know ryan rado."
i married the greatest woman in the world. she let me leave on a two-month tour three weeks after we got married. i took a job tour managing de novo dahl [their myspace is here]. the perks of this are that i am no longer working at the law firm, i get paid a weekly salary, and i have some purpose back in my life. it's nice to feel that i am heading somewhere, or at least toward something besides working a job that only leads to buying stuff i don't need.
de novo dahl's singer is joel mcanulty who happens to be holly's older brother. i used to live with him and his wife, and they approached me about the job a couple weeks before the wedding. after discussing it a lot, holly and i decided that even though it will be tough, this is a great job for me.
we actually left last tuesday night, and we've already had some outstanding shows. we played aspen with cake to a sold out crowd, and then we went to red rocks in denver to play a festival called monolith. we got to see a ton of great bands including ra ra riot, cloud cult, spoon, and the flaming lips. you haven't seen anything until you've seen a flaming lips show!!
i've already got to hang out with sara w. in colorado, and i'm excited to see more friends. the rest of the dates are with a band called hot hot heat from vancouver, bc. we're in the process of driving to seattle to meet them for the first show in vancouver on the 18th. the rest of the tour dates are on the DND myspace, so let me know if i'm coming to your town so we can hang out!
