While studying Gyrotonics in London town, I became aware that My teacher Tomoko had a boyfriend who was a Luthier. I am a rediculous guitar snob. I have an impressive collection including Olsen's, Whitebooks, collings, Vintage gibsons, etc... the list goes on.
When Tomoko told me that kenji wanted to come by the studio with a couple of his guitars I thought it was going to be another situation where I had to think up something nice to say and make a polite excuse for why I wasn't going to buy it. Man was I surprised.
To make a very long story short, the small guitar of kenji's that I got is like a little Katana sword. simple design, clean lines and immiculate tone. I outfitted it with a seymore duncan soundhole pickup and have since retired my other stage guitars. the presence of the instrument is rich and beautiful like good red wine. I would recomend his guitars to any serious musician looking for something extra special.
Bravo Kenji. I will always play your guitars.
