my history as a fan on "The Ark"
I'm a quite big fan of "The Ark". I watched their performance when I was in Turku. That was "Ruisrock", which is the Summer music festival in Ruissalo, Turku. It was so nice. cool and attractive. at least for me.
I and my friend decided immediately to particepate in "Ankkarock". We went to Helsinki by bus, and then arrived at the party place by train. It was quite long journey but we didn't mind.
I was looking forward to watching their stage during last year until I found the tour information on their official HP. Of course we went to Karen, the last place for their performance last year.
Who likes "The Ark"? You do? If so, I'm really happy! and If you don't know The Ark yet, you should listen to their music!!

Ruisrock!!!
I'm sooooo tired, but it was really good! I went to Ruissalo to watch bands' performance for Ruisrock. Today was the last day and so many audiences were there. I had never been to live concerts by hard rock bands, so I was worried and wondering how everything was going. There were 4 stages and 21 bands.
I and my friend went Ruissalo by bus left Kauppatori at 11.30, and arrived there at 12. We watched Indica's stage first. Many guys were in front of the stage and were excited so much. When the encore, Indica played "Wethering Heights" by Kate Bush.
The second band we watched was Tiktak, and it is said that they are so popular in Finland. I just listened to only one song by them but I don't remember what it was. Their songs on the stage were very nice. They are rock band, but it was easy to listen for me. And eveybody got off. Maybe I will buy their CD, haha.
Third band was Hanoi Rocks. I've heard only their name and never listened to their songs. They seemed to be treated as a special case. They were STAR!!! Many people were there and excited. Of course I was, even though I didn't know their songs. Staff watered with a hose, and we were soaked to the bone. That made us more excited!! We danced and shouted.
Till The Hives started their performance, I and my friend sat and drank beer to wait. Then, we moved to the stage, but this time we watched far from the stage. They wore the white jackets. I wondered they didn't feel it was hot. I didn't know almost all of the songs, but I know only one song! At that time, I hit a heat of excitement.
The last band we watched was The Ark. We were not going to watch, but we had to look for our friends we met before we watch Hanoi Rocks. However, we couldn't find them, and decided to wait till the performance was over. In the meanwhile, we watched their show. The guy who was lead vocal wore the strange clothes and he looked like "TM Revolution" who is Japanese singer. He, the maing vocal guy in The Ark was a good singer and performance was good. Anyway, his clothes were funny. He was good at setting the audience alight. I like his performance. I feel good when I watch a live show that was good and interesting performance. Moreover, he talked in English and I could understand all. I think that this is one of the reasons I felt good.
I was worried about alcohol because most of the people would get drunk and I thought it would be awful concert. Despite my thought, the rule was so strict and people must not bring any alcohol and if you want to buy there, you must not leave the gate until you finish to drink. There was a place where was framed in by fence and you can buy alcohol only there. It was a good system.
Anyway, it was so nice than I thought. I guess it was great!!

Just started, nice to see you.
I just started MySpace.com a few hours ago. Now I'm in Finland, and I am going to go back to Japan at the end of December. So far, I feel good to be here even though everything is not only fun. It's amazing for me that I'm here and live by myself although I had never been to Europe. Here in Turku, most of the people are gone to the countryside. Instead, the travelers are coming because it's the oldest city in Finland and quite close to Moomin World and Naantali, the wonderful resort. I surely go to Moomin World!! You can take pictures with all characters. Hey, every time I see the traditional Finn's houses with blue wall and red roof, it reminds me of Moomin house. It's funny:)
I will keep trying to be here on MySpace.com and to write blog in English;) So, nice to see you!
