The Irish Blessing..............
Current mood: content
Category: Writing and Poetry

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

May you live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.

Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.

Always remember to forget
The troubles that passed away.
But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.

May the saddest day of your future be no worse
Than the happiest day of your past.

May the roof above us never fall in.
And may the friends gathered below it never fall out.

May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door.

May there be a generation of children
On the children of your children.

May you live to be a hundred years,
With one extra year to repent!

May the Lord keep you in His hand
And never close His fist too tight.

May your neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And heaven accept you.

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.

Walls for the wind,
And a roof for the rain,
And drinks beside the fire -
Laughter to cheer you
And those you love near you,
And all that your heart may desire!

May God be with you and bless you,
May you see your children's children,
May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.

May God grant you many years to live,
For sure He must be knowing
The earth has angels all too few
And heaven is overflowing.

May peace and plenty be the first
To lift the latch to your door,
And happiness be guided to your home
By the candle of Christmas.

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

The Jumblies............
Current mood: tired
Category: Writing and Poetry

They went to sea in a Sieve, they did,
In a Sieve they went t
o sea:

In spite of all their friends could say,
On a winter's morn, on a stormy day,
In a Sieve they went to sea!

And when the Sieve turned round and round,
And everyone cried, "You'll all be drowned!"
They called aloud, "Our Sieve ain't big,
But we don't care a button!
We don't care a fig!
In a Sieve we'll go to sea!"

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

They sailed away in a Sieve, they did,
In a Sieve they sailed so fast,
With only a beautiful pea-green veil,
Tied with a riband by way of a sail,
To a small tabacco-pipe mast;
And everyone said, who saw them go,
"O won't they be soon upset, you know!
For the sky is dark, and the voyage is long,
And happen what may, it's extremely wrong
In a Sieve to sail so fast!"

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

The water it soon came in, it did,
The water it soon came in;
So to keep them dry, they wrapped their feet
In pinky paper all folded neat,
And they fastened it down with a pin.

And they passed the night in a crockery-jar,
And each of them said, "How wise we are!
Though the sky be dark, and the voyage be long,
Yet we never can think we were rash or wrong,
While round in our Sieve we spin!"

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands w
here the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

And all night long they sailed away;
And when the sun went down,
They whistled and warbled a moony song
To the echoing sound of a coppery gong,
In the shade of the mountains brown.

"O Timballo! How happy we are,
When we live in a Sieve and a crockery-jar.
And all night long in the moonlight pale,
We sail away with a pea-green sail,
In the shade of the mountains brown!"

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and t
heir hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

They sailed to the Western Sea, they did,
To a land all covered with trees,
And they bought an Owl, and a useful Cart,
And a pound of Rice, and a Cranberry Tart,
And a hive of silvery Bees.

And they bought a Pig, and some green Jackdaws,
And a lovely Monkey with lollipop paws,
And forty bottles of Ring-Bo-Ree,
And no end of Stilton Cheese.

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands
where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

And in twenty years they all came back,
In twenty years or more,
And everyone said, "How tall they've grown!
For they've been to the Lakes, and the Terrible Zone,
And the hills of the Chankly Bore."

And they drank their health, and gave them a feast
Of dumplings made of beautiful yeast;
And everyone said, "If we only live,
We too will go to see in a Sieve,
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!"

Far and few, far and few,
Are the lands
where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue,
And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Venting................
Current mood: pissed off

There are a few things I need to vent on that have been bothering me as of late, so here goes nothing...............

1) People take things that are said on the internet wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to seriously. I mean, all it is at the end of the day, is a bunch of words on a computer screen. Anyone can say ANYTHING, and not mean it, and I have learnt that from experience. There isn't emotion or expression involved in anything, so how can you be sure a person is really who or what they say they are ? Doesn't REAL life and REAL communication between people count for anything anymore ? I'm not saying the internet is a bad thing, cos it does a hell of alot of good, and if it wasn't for the internet, I probably wouldn't have half the great friends I do now. But when you get to know a person over the internet, and then when you meet them in REAL life, sometimes it turn's out they aren't the person you thought they were, and alot of the time, you will probably be dissapointed. That's something to bare in mind.

2) People that are meant to be your fucking "friends" and shit on you, betray you, lie to you and don't care if they upset you or fuck up your dynamic, just as long as they get their little kick and what they want out of it. And they call themselves friends ?!

3) People that are ungrateful, rude, sly, play games, constantly expect things from others, constantly put themselves on people and will use them for whatever they can get out of them. Don't they have any conscience or feeling's WHATSOFUCKINGEVER ?!

4) People that compulsively lie just to make themselves look bigger and/or better. WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT !? It ain't gunna last very long, and when people eventually find out the truth, you are the one that is gunna look like a complete cunt, and end up bitter and alone with no friends ! NOT US ! You reap what you sow, darling.

5) People that have no empathy or sympathy for others. What is wrong with you people ! Step outside yourself once in a fucking while, and put yourself in the shoes of others and think about how you would feel if it were you ! I ain't saying pity them or feel sorry for them, but don't be such fucking cunts !

Conclusion - That most people are CUNTS !!! Not all, but most. Selfish, egocentric, narcissistic, narrow-minded, self-centered, mercenary, megalomaniac, greedy, grabbing, self-serving BASTARDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, rant over. That's better.

Laterz.

The Quangle Wangle's Hat.............
Current mood: chipper

On top of the Crumpetty Tree,
The Quangle Wa
ngle sat,
Bu
t his face you could not see,
On account of his Beaver Hat.

For his Hat was a hundred and two feet wide,
With ribbons and bibbons on every side,
And bells, and buttons, and loops, and lace,
So that nobody ever could see the face
Of the Quangle Wangle Quee.

The Quangle Wangle said
To himself on the Crumpetty Tree:
"Jam; and jelly; and bread;
Are the best of food for me!
But the longer I live on this Crumpetty Tree,
The plainer than ever it seems to me
That very few people come this way,
And that life on the whole is far from gay!"
Said the Quangle Wangle Quee.

But there came to the Crumpetty Tree
Mr. and Mrs. Canary;
And they said, "Did you ever see
Any spot so charmingly airy?
May we build a nest on your lovely Hat?
Mr. Quangle Wangle, grant us that!
O please let us come and build a nest
Of whatever material suits you best,
Mr. Quangle Wangle Quee!"

And besides, to the Crumpetty Tree
Came the Stork, the Duck, and the Owl;
The Snail and the Bumble-Bee.

The Frog, and the Fimble Fowl
(The Fimble Fowl with a corkscrew leg);
And all of them said, "We humbly beg,
We may build our homes on your lovely Hat,
Mr. Quangle Wangle, grant us that!
Mr. Quangle Wangle Quee!"

And the Golden Grouse came there,
And the Pobble who hast no toes,
And the small Olympian Bear,
And the Dong with a luminous nose.

The Blue Baboon, that played the flute,
And the Orient Calf from the Land of Tute,
And the Attery Squash,
And the Bisky Bat,
All came and built on the lovely Hat
Of the Quangle Wangle Quee.

And the Quangle Wangle said
To himself on the Crumpetty Tree,
"When all these creatures move
What a wonderful noise there'll be!"

And at night by the light of the Mulberry Moon
They danced to the Flute of the Blue Baboon
On the broad green leaves of the Crumpetty Tree,
And all were as happy as happy could be,
With the Quangle Wangle Quee.

****************************************

You are probably all thinking by this point,
"What the fuck is she on ?!" but that was the story of The Quangle Wangle's Hat by Edward Lear, which was my favourite book when I was a kid, and in many ways still is. Just thought I would share with you all the marvel of the Quangle Wangle Quee !

My week in bits by no-one's tits !
Current mood: cheerful

Well folks, it's been a while since my last blog, so thought i'd all update you on what i've been up to in the past few weeks. Well, it's only gunna be the past week as I can't remember further back then that.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo, here's goes !

Monday - Did fuck all but sleep as was out all weekend as that evil wench Glendora kidnapped me and forced me to go to dinge clubs in Vauxhall.

Tuesday - Can't remember. No really. I can't. Must have been good.

Wednesday - Went shopping in the gorgeous area that is Brixton and purchased (well, I say purchased) a few new items of make-up and also some catfood, not that that's of any interest to yooz lotz, but hey ho. Then later on that night it was time for Trannyshack where I debuted my Ice Queen look which can be seen by looking at my main myspace photographic image. Anywho, had a fantabulous time as per use and got absolutely cunted on Sambuca that some rather ugly minger of a guy was buying me all night. Hey, I wasn't complaining ! He might have been though as at the end of the night he said to me "So, seeing as you don't have a boyfriend, can I be yours ?" to which in my drunken bitch state I replied "I would rather pull my veins out with fish hooks than go out with you !" Oh well, some people just need to be told. He wheren't smilin' no more that's for sure. Anyway, after Trannyshack, myself, Glendora Whora, Ritzy Crack head, Lady Bournville and Chris-py all went along to Balans Cafe where we consumed some stuff which wasn't nice and then we all said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. Lickle Miss Lady Orville was seen getting into a Merc with some ugly old man whiffing of curry and hasn't been seen since. Or was that Ritzy ? I dunno. Anyway, that was Wednesday.

Thursday - Spent most of the day getting over the night before. The day went as follows - Sleep, eat, tv, sleep, eat, internet, eat, internet, tv, eat, internet, sleep... Thrilling isn't it ?

Friday - Went to Sainsburys and did the shopping which was as about as fun as stapling your foreskin to a table. Then when that was all done it was home and to bed for a few hours, then up at 4am, got ready and off to A:M @ FIRE where Ronnie Corbett's long lost Brazilian twin tried to stick his dirty tongue down my throat. I can assure you he didn't get anywhere though. I told my bro-ho Glendora, and she later killed him and dumped his body in the Thames........... Anyway, moving on...............

Sunday - Was LATER @ FIRE and is my favourite night/day out of the week as me and Glendora always have a FABULOUS time and make fun out of people behind there backs. Muahahahahahahaha ! But anyway, LATER shut early as it was Soho pride, so me and Glennie, like the utter common filth that we are, went over to a rather dead Vauxhall Green. Then after a while we decided we would go into Barcode for a few beverages. Jenny (the girl that does the till at FIRE and takes open dump) tagged along with us, and a fab time was had by all. Lots of laughter and bitching later (none of it done by me or Jenny I must add !) it was home time...

So that's my week for ya folks ! Now, bugger owf !

Laterz !
