so you've probably already seen this from a few of our fellow missoula metal bands walking corpse and the lazerwolfs, this is metal's chance to voice our opinion.  vote for us to be on the montana untapped sampler cd that will distributed by the trail 103.3 on special packs of budweiser this fall.  let's get all of the hard rock metal bands onto the sampler.  we need your votes.

dystopium stll in production phase

we're still finishing the recording stages of "dystopium".  we have two guitar tracks left to record, then we enter the mixing and mastering part of the album.  the artwork is all done, and we're looking at a halloween/day of the dead release party, with the street date being election day.  the album will feature 10 tracks, some of which are re-tooled versions of songs that were on our demo ep.  the quality of recording and sound is much better.  we'll be starting the promotional process @ the end of september.  we'll have some free downloads for everyone, and some promotional items that will be free for all attending our cd release show.  looking forward to getting this album done, and working on new tracks. 

we almost have a new song completed, and will debut it at the cd release show.

i promise new music is coming soon.  the first song we mixed, was too long to post on myspace.  we're headed back into the studio for mixing this week.  the album will be ten tracks, and we hope to release it in september.  as soon as we get a few songs mixed and mastered i'll post them on our page.  look for blessiddoom to be playing a large number of shows between now and november.

we're in the studio right now, working on the new album. we've got three songs in the bag so far with another five that should be done with initial recording on sunday. paul and shmed (our engineer0 are working on the drum tracks for all or nothing as i'm typing this blog. so far everything is going well, and we're pretty much on schedule. i'll update more later.

Black Friday Radio Show May 9th

for all of our all ages fans that have supported us over the last several years i have bad news.  we were told that all music at higgins hall will cease very soon.  they are not booking any new shows, and are cancelling many of the shows that have already been booked.  it all has to do with money and grants, and someone who has money taking funding away from the b&g if the shows aren’t pulled.  i’m not sure if this has anything specifically to do with blessiddoom and our "devil music" but all around it sucks.  for now we can’t schedule any all ages shows.  that is regrettable because we always have a good time at those shows and the audience was always great.  unfortunately someone or group of someones who probably has never attended any of our shows or any other show has made assumptions about what those shows are like. 

i will do my best to try to get another all ages venue booked, but for now if anyone would like blessiddoom to play a graduation, backyard, or basement party and you don’t mind having 50 teenage metalheads come over to your house hit us up for a show.  it won’t cost a thing, and it will be a good time for sure.
