First off I would like to than everyone for their continued support of both Bloodletting Press and Horror Mall.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
We will be starting two new imprints; the first being MORNING STAR. Morning Star will be a more risk taking, cutting edge press than Bloodletting in that it will seeks out new untested authors and or story formats that wouldn't normally see print by Bloodletting Press. Below you will read about our first annouced title under this new imprint: TERMINAL: The Play by Brian Keene and Roy C. Booth.

The second imprint will be ARCANE WISDOM and will focus on old Weird Tales, dark fantasy fiction mostly reprinted from classic works within the horror genre. The first title will be a collection of Arthur Machen compiled and annotated by S.T. Joshi and will be announced in the coming weeks.

Bloodletting Press will still maintain its 8 books a year printing schedule so fans of the press will see no changes there.

Both the traycase and book are bound in the highest grade lamb skin with boa embossing

Each traycase and book have a real hand chiseled arrowhead inlaid in the boards. Each arrowhead is unique and only one good arrowhead is produced out of three attempts and only obsidian hand tools were used in their making.

Horror Mall is here!!!

Hello everyone we've been very busy here at Bloodletting Books moving our store over to the brand new Horror Mall. The opening and initial response has been overwhelmingly positive and I'd like to thank you for your continued support.

Quick update

VESSELS is not at the printers and we are waiting for them to ship them to us.  Shouldn't be too much longer now.  As you know we just got the cover art for Love Lies Dying so this one will also be heading to the printers pronto.

Ancient Eyes will be right behing Love Lies Dying.

Brian just got in the paperbacks of THE RUTTING SEASON as soon as he has the chance to get them signed we'll start shipping them out.

Bloodletting Press Goes Fulltime

It is with great pleasure and a lot of soul searching that Ive come to the decision to make Bloodletting Press my full time job.

As some of you know Ive worked for Gallo Winery for 20 years as an Operations Manager. Ive presently got over 250 employees working for me and a huge process. The job has been very good to me and my family but would often steal time away from my passion; which has always been horror fiction and Bloodletting Press.

As of August 31, 2006 I will be leaving Gallo and devoting all of my energy into Bloodletting Press and Bookstore

A few things you can expect from this move:

Much faster responses to e-mails and phone calls.

More books carried in the bookstore than ever before.

More books published annually and in a more timely fashion.

More conventions and shows

Quicker responses to submitted manuscripts.

More book signings

Basically, more of everything in genre of horror

Shackled by Ray Garton

We are very pleased to annouce that we will be publishing Shackled by Ray Garton early in 2007.

I'm a huge Garton fan and Shackled is my favorite of all his work, so we are really excited to be doing it.  As always you can count on Bloodletting Press to produce a beautiful edition with great artwork that will last gernerations.
