He is the One and Only
Current mood: ecstatic
Category: Religion and Philosophy

I am beautifully and wonderfully made

Every part of my body including all the imperfections

He loves, He made and he finds Beautiful

Whenever I feel alone or am heartbroken

He is there to hold me and wipe away the tears

When I wake up at 2 in the morning

He is there to listen to my thoughts, questions and fustrations

He teaches me and disciplines me

He gives me tough Love

He brings me Joy like no other man can

He Completes me

He is the One and Only

Who is the Perfect Man you ask?

He is Jesus Christ

J’aime Tu Beaucoup moi Amour
Category: Romance and Relationships

You told me that you love me

You would never leave my side

But now I just keep thinking

That what I had with you has died

You tell me you need time

But how much time can I give

I understand that your confused and scared

But guess what so am I

I love you so very much and want to be with only you

But why is it that you can't commit to me and only me alone?

I guess all I can do is wait patiently and pray the Lord will answer me

But if this is the last time I speak to you then,

J'aime tu Beaucoup Moi Amour.

Hate the Memories
Current mood: melancholy
Category: Writing and Poetry

Hate the Memories

You say you hate me but don't know why

Disgusted by my picture but don't know why

You've moved on but still I haunt you

You hate the memories

and wish they were dead

wish they were gone and out of your head

One day all of it will be exposed

and you will want to be unknown

Its okay for me because I am over you

I'm through with trying to be your friend

You hate the memories but not I

These memories only remind me of the Lie

The lie of love and broken promises

The lie you hid from your future Mrs...

I will remember the pain and hurt you caused

But realize I am better off

With a guy who loves me and treats me like a queen

Not a liar who is a fiend

One day it will kill you and make you insane

And when that day comes

Remember you knew the game

So hate the memories, not me, because

You're the one who wanted to be the fiend

I'm Not Giving Up
Current mood: indescribable
Category: Writing and Poetry

I'm Not Giving Up

Five years, five months I thought we'd gone through it all

But now your saying, you don't love me at all

How can I move forward…when I still love you?

How can I let go, just as easily as you ?

We were so happy at one point in time

You even bought me a ring that was oh so divine

But here I am feeling dead inside

It hurts even more to know that you have her in mind

How I feel I want to die…was this all a lie?

But I'm not giving up, Not letting us go

Not gonna say I don't love you so

I can't let you go when I still have that hope

Won't stop prayin' God would let us find us

So I sit here wanting to let you know

That I will wait for you or nothing at all

Call me crazy or just madly in Love

But I'm not giving up until I see your white dove

Until you return from the training ahead

Know that I will always be here for you to lay your head.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS <><
Current mood: hungry
Category: Religion and Philosophy

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house, not a creature was praying, not one in the house.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing their heads, Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap, watching the late show while I took a nap.

When out of the east there arouse such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I ran like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but Angels proclaming that Jesus was here. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

The light of his face made me cover my head. It was Jesus returning just as He said.

The book of Life, which He held in His hand, were written the names of every Saved man.

He spoke not a word as He searched for my name. When He said "It's not here", my head hung in shame.

With all those people whose names had been written with Love, He gathered to take them to His Father above. I fell to my knees, but it was too late, I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. When all those were ready they rose without a sound while all of the rest were left standing around.

I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight, oh if only I would have been ready tonight. With the words of this poem, the meaning is clear, the coming of Jesus is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call; we'll find that the Bible is true after all.

Beauty Tips from an amazing Woman
Current mood: drained
Category: Fashion, Style, Shopping

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through your hair once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.

Cassandra's Daily June 10, 05

Devotional for Friday June 10th

"We live unto the Lord." —Romans 14:8

If God had willed it, each of us might have entered heaven at the moment of conversion. It was not absolutely necessary for our preparation for immortality that we should tarry here. It is possible for a man to be taken to heaven, and to be found meet to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light, though he has but just believed in Jesus. It is true that our sanctification is a long and continued process, and we shall not be perfected till we lay aside our bodies and enter within the veil; but nevertheless, had the Lord so willed it, He might have changed us from imperfection to perfection, and have taken us to heaven at once. Why then are we here? Would God keep His children out of paradise a single moment longer than was necessary? Why is the army of the living God still on the battle-field when one charge might give them the victory? Why are His children still wandering hither and thither through a maze, when a solitary word from His lips would bring them into the centre of their hopes in heaven? The answer is—they are here that they may "live unto the Lord," and may bring others to know His love. We remain on earth as sowers to scatter good seed; as ploughmen to break up the fallow ground; as heralds publishing salvation. We are here as the "salt of the earth," to be a blessing to the world. We are here to glorify Christ in our daily life. We are here as workers for Him, and as "workers together with Him." Let us see that our life answereth its end. Let us live earnest, useful, holy lives, to "the praise of the glory of His grace." Meanwhile we long to be with Him, and daily sing—

"My heart is with Him on His throne,
And ill can brook delay;
Each moment listening for the voice,
'Rise up, and come away.'"
